- I fly from India to Pakistan and meet a bunch of Pakistanis along the way! My second trip to beautiful Pakistan begins here. I'll take you with me on the entire journey #IndiaToPakistan, we'll meet Pakistanis and ask them about India, and you'll see my bungled arrival at a hotel in Islamabad at 3 a.m.
During my 1-month trip, I'll be visiting Islamabad, Peshawar, Abbottabad, Balakot, Murree, Muzaffarabad, Lahore, and Karachi. We'll be eating Pakistani street food and traveling to places that Western Governments consider "high-risk."

I am from New Delhi but I read a lot about Islamabad. Islamabad unlike all of South Asian cities is very different. It is a new city designed in 60's by a very famous Greek Architect . It has broad clean roads and is a master plan city.
Also Isloo(Islamabad) is the 2nd most beautiful capital in the world.
I am not from there, but I have friends from the capital. It is a modern capital. I believe Karachi was the capital.

I was born and raised in the UK, my mum’s from Bangladesh. My mum has always taught me India, Pakistan and Bangladesh was once one country. We have a common culture. I have friends that I have grow up with who’s family are from Pakistan and another from India. We are a big family we don’t see borders or what divides us. What we see is our shared culture, heritage and kindness to others.
Every time I fly over Pakistan while flying to west from India I never skip to look down out of my window as the land of Lahore is the birth place of my grandfather 🙏

@@tushar1618 Islamabad is much better than navi mumbai and chandigarh...i have lived in Chandigarh and US both...and I have visited navi mumbai as well...we have more stray animals and garbage on road sides...however, I have no idea about Gandhi nagar....but Islamabad is a copy of any developed city of united states..I'm also indian and it will give me immense pride to have any clean and well planned city with out any slums and garbage on or off road...but I'm sorry I couldn't find any..one can be better than the other but none is like a complete developed city....

Motorway infrastructure is almost 25 years old built by Pakistan and Pakistan never stopped building it. China joined initiatives in past 5 years.
China joined not from past 5 years it joined from early 2000 when mushraff was chief the gawadar port was planned but officially announced in 2013.

Nawaz Sharif started motorways in 1997 when he was the Prime Minister but the current government of Imran Khan is not for infrastructure such as motorways. It depends on which government is in power. You are right about China investing heavily in Pakistani projects but that is for business and strategic reasons.
The infrastructure you are talking about was built some 25 years ago by our Pakistani people, money and hardwork. China had nothing to do with it.

China till yet only funded Multan Sukkar part of Peshawar Karachi Motorway. All the rest were built by GOP through its own funds.

@「AMMAD」 shukriya is a commonly used Hindustani (referring to the Hindustani language) word. Hence there are multiple such words which evolved through generations. The History of Pakistan is only 73 years old, the history of Urdu is a few hundred years old and the history of Sanskrit is a few thousand years old. Hence we on this side of the border are familiar with such words.
Secondly I'm a Bengali speaker, hence we are a lot more familiar to other Sanskrit words which are not used in Hindi but are relevant in Bengali.

The pakistani guy who lives in Australia, has summed it up very well. It is one "mitti" (land) and one people, and there is a line in between. Obviously before 1947, it was One country, so people look the same, speak the same, eat the same and offers the prayers the same way, culture the same, and the fight was for One state, Jammu and Kashmir. Indians accepted the signature of instrument of accession, Pakistanis wanted the land despite the instrument, because majority in Jammu and Kashmir are Muslim. Just like the land dispute between two brothers in one family, this is going on and on. News dailies spew venom and TV channels spread hate, but majority of the people on either side of the nation are poor, less literate and struggle to live their lives. Same Indians and Pakistanis as they meet in USA, are friends, because they look same, they speak same and eat same food. Also, the common factor being in an alien land, needing friends.
Yes, in UK I have many Indian friends and we hang out together. But they’re British Indians mostly Sikh brothers.

Before British, India was never 1 country with so many states from Mughal to Marahatas to Maysore to Deccan etc.. IT WAS ONE LAND MANY STATES.. However people moved easily (not so easily because it was not easy to move back in the day) as there was no visa resteicrions

Used to be same people.... But not anymore. Just bc we have same skin color, a little similar language and similarity in food doesn't mean we're same! Ideologically we're as opposite as possible. Pakistan only stands for Mullah Islam and where as India is largest democracy. We do got many problems in India but we have given way more rights to our minorities (Particularly reservation in entire government system) than any other nation in the world. Also.... We don't forcefully convert our minorities.
