- I take you through a traditional market in a very traditional part of Pakistan - Peshawar. We experience the food, fashion, locals, and the beautiful old-school style Chaiwalas serving Peshawari Green Tea (Kehwa).
Chitrali Bazaar is a feast for the eyes! It's full of hundreds of stores selling winter fashion from Chitral. There's hats (Pakol), shawls (Chaadar), waistcoats, and all sorts of warm fashion items for Men and Women. I bought a traditional Pakol for Rs. 1200 ($8). Shawls are Rs. 3500 ($21). You'll see Men all over Khyber Pakhtunkhwa wearing these.

Yeah i noticed that aswel when he was speaking in pashto, many people in that situation seeing a tourist would have said much higher prices but people of Peshawar and Pakistan in general are very honest in the way they do business, they charge the exact price or free lol, which sad to say in other countries the scamming tourists culture is prominent

From Malaysia, My grandfather (father side) was a Pakistani (nvr got to met him, passed away on his last visit back home). Been there twice when i was like 10 & 18. Everlasting memory, karachi, Islamabad, Merry Hill. Never got to pasthun area though.

Before a few years it was bad but gradually we’ve become even more cleaner and realised how having good hygiene is important. Everything, the products looks so authentic and ethnic, nothing artificial about it in the traditional Chitrali bazaar in Peshawar. What is more pleasantly surprising is everyone is working in the shops and not idling around. BTW Pathans are the most industrious and hardworking people to be found anywhere, most hospitable and sincere, truthful too.

As an Indian I am amazed to see majority of men wearing traditional salwar kameez all around in Peshawar in particular and in Pakistan in general. Take a walk in any street in India and one will mostly see people donning jeans t-shirt, trousers.

Though Pakistan is undoubtedly a dangerous place, I was overwhelmed by the friendliness, warmth and hospitality of most people there. Peshawar was also wonderful.
It shows that we shouldn't judge a country on the basis of what just a part of that country is doing. There are good and bad in every country . Lots of love to the common people of Pakistan ❤️they are so friendly.

@muslim grower Yes, goras are treated differently but you are not entirely true. There are many Sikhs and Hindus that visit Pakistan and are treated very nicely. In other words, many of our Indian guests are offered free tea, some times they are not charged for food or taxi. What would you say about that?

While I do agree there is a Gora complex I will tell you I have the impression that india's Gora bootlicking is worser than pakistanis. Look at how fair and lovely is big ar india.
