Beautiful finish. Jamie thank you for all of the instructional videos you bring us. You & Jeds Channel is the Best Jack is adorable Thank you for sharing 👍👍👍
What a stunning piece!!! I hope to be that talented some day. I just began working with wood and you guys are truly inspiring!!! XOXO from Victorville California!!! 😘
You guys are so talented. It makes me want to take a wood class so I can learn how to use these tools and build beautiful things! I'm obsessed with everything farm house!
Mikeandsandy Broderick you're welcome. Jacks at that perfect stage where he's so darn cute, he also makes a lot of messes. Today he spilled gold fish crackers, so he went to get he broom and when he got the room he knocked over the bucket of flour lol
haha.....awe.....well...don't blink...- they grow up waaaaaay too quickly!! Just LOVE your channel btw...we are waiting to move and I will be buying some of your paint... Please tell me you ship to Canada ??!! :D
Mikeandsandy Broderick I haven't but I can. You just have to pm me what you want and I can weigh it and get you a price :). I recently shipped paint to Italy.
Jasmine Gomez-Zavala we all have had a cold over here. I was trying my best to disguise mine. I will keep an eye on his :). Jack is my little shadow and he loves to be right by mom always
I know this is an older video. I thoroughly enjoyed this video. Zeb has a great talent for woodworking. watching him make the legs for the table was so calming for me. to be able to take a piece of wood and make something out of it. I need to learn how to do this...how did he learn all this?. I know there's a lot of experience in trial and error in there. My father started teaching befor he passed... Unfortunately we ran out of time. Your table turned out gorgeous. I saw a color in there that would be perfect for what I need for my project. I did I hear you say there are samples? Website? Happy painting!
Thank you! Zeb had turned one thing in shop class in high school and wanted to get better so we bought an inexpensive lathe from harbor freight and he just started practicing. Took him a couple months of doing it everyday to really pick it up. 👍 The paint we used was Milk paint. I sell it on my website. jamirayvintage.com/collections/milk-paint/products/adelaide-sweet-pickins-milk-paint
Jami Ray Vintage ..oh wow really..there is talent in there..i need a paint for metal. I have watch so many videos. I cant remember which kind for metal?
Joni Wauhop I sell them. It's a round Zibra. This is the link to the flat edge but it's the same price for the round. If you pm me on FB I can order you one. jamirayvintage.com/collections/wax-glaze-brushes/products/zibra-2-chiseled-wedge-brush
Zeb grew up around his mom crafting and his dad building things. Same with me, Zeb did pick up a lathe 2-1/2 years ago though and taught himself how to use it. He had only used one for about an hour in wood shop back in high school prior to that.
It’s a countersink bit. Some people use a pocket hole jig to do the same thing but I like the countersink in this application because it’s fast and still strong.
I'm in the SL Valley too ... great looking table with the look my wife and I are after. You said you used Minwax polyacrylic in Satin over the stain. I have a lot of the Minwax polyurethane ... would that work too?
Yes we do. We try to be as up front about each piece as we can. We usually don’t have much history but it’s usually pretty easy to tell by the construction/materials used.
FYI, your voice over and music are not mixed consistently (maybe intentionally?). The voice over is on the left channel and music mostly on the right channel. Not sure if you knew. Great video content though.
unico260 thanks! Zeb says he knows. This video was edited with premier elements and it did some odd things to the sound tracks that he didn’t catch before we uploaded it. He’s using premier pro now. 👍
You're supposed to * stain liberally, wait 10 minutes, wipe off the excess, THEN dry over night, * then sand with maybe 220 grit, repeat *, and then apply a finish (personally I prefer Satin)
gar finn Suitable impressed? Lol. Also, dude... shut up. It was a friendly joking manner that I was using it. It was funny she kept saying acrost. That's quite obviously the wrong way to say it if you want to get real though. But way to swoop in and be the uneccessary hero for the non-insult. You tool.
@Shevin Sacrey Well, THAT did shut him up, didn't it. LOL But yes, I too noticed that one. Glad to see that you already mentioned it and that she's aware of it, without feelings being hurt. ;) Cheers.

Donia Gonzales Copeland thanks!!
OMGOSH i love how y'all just basically DIY pocket holes with the drill! Ive been too nerves to try that!
I broke a few pocket hole jigs and bits and decided it was easier and cheaper to do it like this lol. Plus it’s faster!
Hello love the table! What drill bit you were using to make pocket holes in your table?
awesome. distressing separately did work!
gorgeous.great job you made it look so easy. love the colors.and your son jack so dang cute, great job counting. watch that cough of his
Jasmine Gomez-Zavala we all have had a cold over here. I was trying my best to disguise mine. I will keep an eye on his :). Jack is my little shadow and he loves to be right by mom always
Jami Ray Vintage I pray you all feel better soon.take care/God bless....ooooh and continue with the great tutorials
Beautiful piece of furniture.
Great turn out of the table. What type of bit did you use to drill the holes to attach the pieces together with?
It’s a counter sink bit.

Wow 😻

pinkbubbagum7 minwax polyacrylic in Satin
Thank you so much for answering...I'll be heading over to your store! :)
Love it!! What brush did you use for the moody blue? I want it :)
Joni Wauhop I sell them. It's a round Zibra. This is the link to the flat edge but it's the same price for the round. If you pm me on FB I can order you one. jamirayvintage.com/collections/wax-glaze-brushes/products/zibra-2-chiseled-wedge-brush
Such an agreeable little man! He's adorable!
+Jan Myers he’s pretty great
Love those colors! Were you guys always wood working savvy or did you learn that as you go too? Youre both so talented! Love it!
Zeb grew up around his mom crafting and his dad building things. Same with me, Zeb did pick up a lathe 2-1/2 years ago though and taught himself how to use it. He had only used one for about an hour in wood shop back in high school prior to that.
The background music tunes you out!!!
What was the bit you used on your drill to attach the top together ?
It’s a countersink bit. Some people use a pocket hole jig to do the same thing but I like the countersink in this application because it’s fast and still strong.
I use a kreg jig but that just look so much easier and faster !!!! Thank you
Ahah.I love Jack.💕👏
❤️❤️
How long did this actually take to finish? How much did it sell for? TY
We sell them on our website for $295.00 it takes about 6 hours or so to make. Not including dry time.
@@JamiRayVintage a thank you for get back with me. I really love your work .
I'm in the SL Valley too ... great looking table with the look my wife and I are after. You said you used Minwax polyacrylic in Satin over the stain. I have a lot of the Minwax polyurethane ... would that work too?
It would work great! The reason we use polyacrylic is because it’s waterbased and doesn’t yellow on whites. 👍
I switched to polyacrylic on your suggestion and it is working great for me ... thank you.
bigjeep man awesome! Glad it’s working.
You guys make ev'thing look sooo easy AND PRETTY!!! And when i do it, is like BLAH... >
Hi Jami, I see this beautiful table on your website...question do you ship to Oregon? ❤️
Yes we do.
ما هذا الذي وضعتيه بعد دهان الخشب البني ...ارجوك ..
Just tuned in. Do you have disclose to your customers when its true vintage piece versus a Vintage looking Piece ?
Yes we do. We try to be as up front about each piece as we can. We usually don’t have much history but it’s usually pretty easy to tell by the construction/materials used.
Do you sell the coffee table legs on your website?
Bonnie Mankins yes we do :)
Deb u r a furniture builder.

Hey @Zeb Ray, ya think you could afford to build that table today?? Lol
Haha, I got paid to cut the tree down and my dad and I milled the planks on his portable sawmill 😊 -Zeb
@@JamiRayVintage lol that table is MINT now!

Eu certo
Your baby is so so adorable
Arlene Fiore thanks we love him so much. He keeps us on our toes
❤️
I prefer to build with Woodglut plans.
I can not hear anything the woman is saying.
You're supposed to
*
stain liberally,
wait 10 minutes,
wipe off the excess,
THEN dry over night,
*
then sand with maybe 220 grit, repeat *, and then apply a finish (personally I prefer Satin)
ACROSS!!!! NOT ACROST
Shevin Sacrey thanks!! I can't believe I have been saying it wrong all these years. I appreciate your insight
Jami Ray Vintage Haha no worries cool vids though you've got some great ideas.
