I am fortunate to own a 1995 6-speed 3.8L E34 M5 with just 76.000km on the clock!! Love the car! Best looking M5 ever!! Buy one while you can afford it!!! These cars were the last hand-made BMWs and will only appreciate in value as time goes by.
One moron disliked this Video. One down under crowd hasn´t got a god damn clue as to what a legendary car is or where it is build. Sad what the world has come to. BMW power4ever.
For BMW, it's time to make the release of past models at least an electric version. I think a lot of people would have bought it, it was a futuristic design

4:13... "Always, with a manual gearbox" Unfortunately, BMW didn't keep this promise... Semi-automatic, Automatic w/ Manual setting, etc. is NOT a manual gearbox. It's like saying that my C32 AMG has a manual gearbox, even tho' it's an automatic, just because I can change gears manually by tapping the shift stick sideways for higher or lower gears.
Awesome find! For those of you complaining that BMW said "always with a manual gearbox". I agree and disagree with you. As the 5 series now shares the 7 series chassis and has a crapload of power, it gets to a point where the DCT is doing you a big favor. I have the F80 M3 and it's about the size of the old e34 and e39 M5. I did opt for the manual and it's one of the best gearboxes I've touched. It's much better than the f10 and e90 6MTs were. BMW went out of their way to engineer it with nice parts and features rather than have it be an afterthought making people suffer for not paying more for the DCT.
i love Porsche, Ferrari and so on ... but this one ... THIS IS THE ONE - There is no substitue ///M E34 M5 For Ever !

The E34 is propably the best looking BMW out on the market. The shape of the body gives you the feeling, that you cannot be stopped. It gives you the feeling of power (Even with a M40 engine), etc. etc. If you look at it from a 3/4 view, you can easily start to love the car itself too, even if it's only for the looks. I am a proud owner of a BMW 518, E34. I got a succesfull 11 second 0-100km/h acceleration, but it cost me much: My clutchset broke up and now I have to buy a new one (200€).
and the car chase featuring the E34 M5 in the movie RONIN, was my favorite car chase of all time!

@WHITEVOLK8814 The C32 AMG is a six cylinder engine... A Supercharged V6, to be precise. And I have had 3 E34's so far. My first car ever was a '90 518i, the second was a '92 520i and my third is the one I still own, a '93 M5 Nürburgring Edition, known as the "Mach Legend" in Finland. It's the only E34 capable of doing 300km/h, in Finland and in the scandinavia (dunno about the rest of Europe). It's a full stock, with minimal changes made on the engine. The fastest it's gone, is 314km/h.
@WHITEVOLK8814 5-series E34, no matter what engine, they are all great (even tho' I had to take the 518i once a month to the service station for a quick fix... Still makes me frustrated just thinking about it, sometimes). The 525i is as great as the others. Don't mind the ammount of horsepower, if it's just for the sake of having fun and driving around. 8) I had to buy the M5 for competitional purposes originally and I can't use it as a daily car, like the Benz or my older E34's.
"But always with a manual gearbox, because the M5 is above all, a drivers car" - What happened with this BMW? Now it's all about semi-automatic tiptronic flappy padel nonsense, so sad..
come on people. we all know that BMW always were airplanes among any other cars, but it is time to be a space ship. new BMW's are born for that. to be space ships. time changes.
Golden era of automotive industry 80's and 90's that is.
Ferraris and Porsches are making 700+ hp nowadays ... i'd still take a brand new 325i e30 touring or a c124 hammer over anything :D
@@mro9466 in 80's the Ferrari makes 1000 + bhp just look at he crazy Koenig.

I have to agree with you. Last good BMW's were E39 and E38. New ones suck!

Fantastic, very good looking car. German quality. I'd like to own one!
I’d trade a E30 M3 for a E34 M5 any day.
M5 revolution!

time changes.
the year is 2017, and a decent M5 E35 is f*** 15K euros at minimum and 50K euros for the mint ones ...
Sounds like the old voice of NFL, John Facenda, AKA Voice of God. ;-)
