Todd, alot of poeple in the industrial drive and belt industry knew they were timken. You can feel the belt durometer and see the writing on belt. Gates and MBL(mitsoboshi) have different durometer. It was a dead give away. What I couldn't figure out what was the difference between ultimax and your belt. They are about the same price. Bought several of your belts and have been very happy.
Dimensions and compounds. Shape of cogs. Honestly not much the same between except the building they are made in.
This actually sold me, when your that honest you have my business. I was actually holding a few belts and other things in my cart debating. Appreciate your work and products, now im off to hit purchase lol

Timken makes the best Bearings around, I used them Many times in my profession as a Toolmaker, I expect the belts to be very good also, waiting for my belt I just purchased for my Polaris Ranger to try out. Thanks for sharing the information

Crazy part is I came from an ultimax xp belt to the hunter works. I liked the timken but it made some weird noises that the factory Polaris belt never did. Went to hunterworks and after beating on it the other week I’m very happy with the hunter works thick quiet belt.
They just make it, it is not a ultimax belt like you buy as a ultimax brand
@@Hunterworks yes I understood that, just sharing from my experience. In no way putting down timken, they are very well known to be a stand up company!
lol i dont care if KFC made this belt. Its a good one. My machine operates alot smoother with this belt over the OEM Im pushing 8000 miles on my machine btw
