Unfortunately whoever made this lyric video doesn't know that the lyrics are available... Most of it was completely wrong and was bugging me out lol Great song, this band has three vocalists! The drummer has become the primary singer in the more recent albums. Hope you enjoy the concert!
Keep ‘‘em coming man. I’m also going to see Mastodon, GOJIRA, Lorna Shore here in Atlanta. Mastodon are from here so I’ve been a longtime fan and seen them many times but I always look forward to seeing them live. I’m definitely along for the ride if you continue this journey.
The main vocalist in this track is the drummer. While the guitarists handle the harmony and the bridge verse. Which makes this song that much harder to play. Sure, there are drummer vocalists. But I'd love to see Don Henley or Phil Collins pull this song off and sing at the same time. It's incredible.
Awesome review good thing you went with the lyric on this one although I love the song the video is kind of silly and I’m not a fan they are great to see live though a lot of great songs fallen torches and bedazzled fingernails are a couple of my favs
Nice job just doing a lyric video and not the music video. The music video is distracting when hearing the song for the first time. React to the MUSIC, not music videos. Anyway, keep going with Mastodon.
The only issue is the lyrics are way off in that vid here’s the actual lyrics: Running outside the Nazca lines You know I see you all in white Hoping you grow the fruitful vines And the rain to give us life Violence born within my mind I know it always takes it's time Climbing inside the cosmic eye And forgive the enemy I wonder who I am Reflections offer nothing I wonder where I stand I'm afraid of myself Watching you crumble to the ground Made me want to run away Helping you find the golden crown Made it easier to stay I wonder who I am Reflections offer nothing I wonder where I stand I'm afraid of myself At the bottom of the mountain Unaware of my surroundings Separation from the spirit Let the trees fall where they may I wonder who I am Reflections offer nothing I wonder where I stand I'm afraid of myself

Check out their song The Sparrow. This song is magical and absolutely beautiful.
You need to balance it with something like The Wolf is Loose to better understand their range

To add, I actually like lyric video reactions because then you not only listen to the music, but the words within the music as well
The only issue is the lyrics are way off in that vid here’s the actual lyrics:
Running outside the Nazca lines
You know I see you all in white
Hoping you grow the fruitful vines
And the rain to give us life
Violence born within my mind
I know it always takes it's time
Climbing inside the cosmic eye
And forgive the enemy
I wonder who I am
Reflections offer nothing
I wonder where I stand
I'm afraid of myself
Watching you crumble to the ground
Made me want to run away
Helping you find the golden crown
Made it easier to stay
I wonder who I am
Reflections offer nothing
I wonder where I stand
I'm afraid of myself
At the bottom of the mountain
Unaware of my surroundings
Separation from the spirit
Let the trees fall where they may
I wonder who I am
Reflections offer nothing
I wonder where I stand
I'm afraid of myself
@@tinobenfante7315 you are correct, I noticed a few lines were off. Must have been an “unofficial” lyric video.
The maker of this lyric video butchered these lyrics so bad.
