At first Pegasus threw me off, and i thought i liked Layton/Herod the best. But something about Pegasus really intrigued me and made me keep smelling it. Oh but it is a compliment monster. I would say if you took a fresh citrus shower gel and made a cologne out of it is a better description. Never had so many people ask what I was wearing... it's only downfall is the longevity which is about 5 hours

Here's a tip from a lady who worked in fragrance at Macy's for a long time.... the best 2 colognes I've ever smelled are Chanel Bleu and John Varvatos Vintage. I've probably smelled every cologne there is. If I smell those on a man, it stops me dead in my tracks. You need definitely need confidence to pull them off.

I've tested 7 fragrances lately, bought only 10ml decants just to try them out first and wore a different one every few days. I wanted to know which fragrance does my wife love most on me. Tested: YSL l'homme, Creed Aventus, Dior Saugave, PDM Layton, D&G The One, Acqua di Gio Profumo and Profondo. The undisputed winner is D&G The One. For her it's the best. So I bought myself a big bottle of it. She liked them all except Layton. My personal favorite was Aventus but she (as every woman) said "nothing special". To me - the drydown of Aventus is mindblowing, can't be compared to anything. I'll get it for work then 😄

I actually just returned to the US from Manila. I received a ton of compliments using Sauvage while there. I love Bleu but received more reactions from Sauvage.

@timmy well, if you already have the Sauvage EDT, then you might want to skip the Luna Rossa Carbon because they do share a lot of similar notes. If you want something that’s clean and classy, you could opt for the L’homme.
