The secret to getting compliments with fragrances is wearing a good fragrance that is unknown to your circle, let me explain. I used to wear Bleu de Chanel and Sauvage around my friends all the time, never got a compliment as both are fairly well known and my friends all have it or have smelled it before, but when I wore those near my now ex, her friends and her all complimented me because they weren’t used to that scent and they both smell pretty nice. So my tip is to either wear small boutique unknown fragrances or wear “underdog” fragrances as these will smell nice but still smell different and catch people’s attention.

I absolutely love my dad's Terre D'hermes and Dior Eau Sauvage the I have bought for my husband years ago and he still loves it. To me it’s the best men's fragrances
Had Sauvage as a test for some days ... cannot understand where that passion for it comes from ... its OK, but not more ... there are a lot others, which are really really better than that ... even a Davidoff Cool Water is better than Sauvage and is much cheaper also ... i also had Diors Fahrenheit for a test ... same result ... its OK, but thats it ... the price for both is not justified ... well, maybe only my personell impression on it.
@@thejelico his is Eau sauvage, the bottleblooks like a hip flask, it's a sent that is quite fresh. I agree Davidoff cool water is quite similar, but I think some of my uncles were wearing eau sauvage when I was growing up, so it's a very distinct smell for me, and my husband really likes it!
Yes, I agree with Jeremy's picks; I own many of them. But now let's talk about getting compliments. What with everyone walking around wearing a mask, are you still getting any compliments about the fragrance you are wearing? I doubt it. Today, I wear a fragrance for myself, and perhaps one day when the wearing of a mask is no longer required; the compliments will resume.
I have not smelled all the fragrances that were recommended, but I do agree about Sauvage as it is my most complimented fragrance in my collection. It's even gotten me quite a few compliments out in public this past year with the majority of people wearing masks. On a side note, I have never smelled Aventus, or any fragrance in that price range. The closest thing to Aventus I have smelled is Montblanc Explorer, which I liked enough to buy a bottle and it does get me compliments, but nowhere near the amount I get with Sauvage.
The world of fragrances is so awsome when you jump down the rabbit hole ... I used to just get non branded ones to do the job because I didn't appreciate the impact that they had but now after buying my first couple of nice ones (TF ombre leather and Sauvage Elixir) I'm fully addicted. I feel more confident, love the smell and am into more aspects of style. Thanks for your channel man it's helped a lot on my journey so far 🤔

I love how the ppl in the fragrance community all get along and compliment each other a respect each others opinions cuz I alway watch videos from ppl in the gym/workout community and they always hate on each other so it’s funny to see how different it is lol
There’s no such thing as “too old” for a fragrance, i guess maybe there’s a “too young” but not “too old.” Weather you want to wear versace eros or dior sauvage, fucking do it.
In Men’s I don’t think there’s a set age. In women’s however it’s hard for a 40 year old to pull off Pink Sugar or Juicy Couture as they’re more aimed for women under 25
There are no age for perfume in my opinion, but it rather a social construct that we are usually thought where men should avoid wearing "synthetic" or "citrus-ish" perfumes if "you want to be taken seriously in your 30s" so do the women. But i get the whole point, youngsters tend to love lighter, brighter, more experimental notes than the older folks.
I’ve always loved Abercrombie Fitch Fierce when First Instinct came out I bought it instantly. I like it but still prefer Fierce over it. EDT, EDP, Parfum etc it isn’t always the case that they are the same scent with a stronger performance, in many cases the EDP and Parfum have different notes more pronounced to change it from the original like the Sauvages.
I've gotta agree. Aventus is my most complimented fragrance. It's my daily signature scent, and I am constantly getting compliments. So much so that I've even gotten a corny nickname (Mr. Smell Good) from the convenience store ladies. 😂
Hi Antonio, i follow Jeremy fragnance and i have to say that this is one of his best videos if not the best video he has made. The presentation, banter, background music was on point. Work of art
I cannot justify paying the price tag on creed Aventis. I bought a clone for about 10% of the price. And, it works a treat. I get tons of unsolicited compliments on Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Every single time I wear it. I do mean every single time. It is a beautiful fragrance. I love wearing it. I don’t even mind the opening too much. Purists will turn their nose up at it because it’s not the original. But, it gets the job done and it doesn’t break the bank.
I agree more with you Antonio. I own and wear Jeremy’s Honorable Mentions and I would have put all of them in the Top Ten. My fragrance purchases have been based on Jeremy’s videos.
Jeremy is my covid-19 Fragrance Guy ... what else did we have to watch in 2019-2021 ??? He’s authentic and great stuff ,,, the twirl around made it😂 ,, i bought perfume because of him 👍🏻
The only fragrance that I own from the list is Acqua di Gio Profumo. I understand about the appeal of the entry fragrance and can empathize with the notion. Although, in college, I used Amaris and later Polo green, I consider my entry cologne to be Gucci Pour Homme 1976. The reason is partly where I bought it and where I wore it for the first time - at the Rodeo Drive Gucci store. And then, I bought it again at that same store a year later and the clerk remembered my name and face. The first place I wore the Gucci fragrance was the night I bought it at the Victoria Station nightclub across from Universal Studios. The following year - July 1984, I wore it to the original Spago in West Hollywood. Not only did I receive beau coup compliments, but I also felt very confident once I sprayed it on. I also felt that the fragrance complemented my clothing that night (both clothing choice and color). I wore a white silk tweed sport jacket, white Armani dress shirt, a green gold and brown tie and brown light-weight wool pants. Oh, and I must state that that fragrance brought me more than compliments and confidence - if you catch my drift. 😉
I think his mom painted the paintings...also love how Jeremy's English is filtered through the other languages he speaks, so he 'creates' new English expressions. So unique. Thanks for the video.
His reviews are usually very accurate to me. Even when it is something that may not be my taste, I never thought "Man..he was way off of the mark." What he does, however, is that he then repeats the same cycle of names over and over and ovvvvvvvver again..then he finds a few names here and there to throw in-usually more obscure fragrances or a personal favorite.
I just buy what smells good and what I like. Imagine if I bought every fragrance he says to buy I would be broke! He is a good sales man! Now sell me this pen!! Lol
Go with the small "samples" that can be purchased from Scent Split. You can get as small quantities as 1ml to the 9ml, for as little as $6.99. Even Jeremy's Office and Date can be purchased in small amounts. Although Im not going to, eventually, blind buy a $700 fragrance ( that Zeroff sells), I enjoy them all with the small samples.
U have such a great fragrance on this list tha I really wonder do u really like them? Sauvage number one nah bro not even top 10 there are much much better options
This is the video that I first watched when I got back into cologne after a 25 year gap. Out of the 14 he talks about, I've gotten to buy about half of these (I'm poor🙄). The other video I watched was by Gents Scents on what to get if you try scentbird, so you don't get ripped off money wise. This had me start back with Amouage Reflection Man and Jubilation XXV, which are still my Two favorite scents to this day. Thank you both Jeremy and Ashton
Another great job assessing and sizing up a fragrance reviewer. Jeremy was the first one I saw that got me into men’s fragrances. He should have listed Dale Earnhardt ‘3’ instead of this guy for US viewers 😂👍🏼🇺🇸
It's all relative anyway. ALL perfumes are being reformulated yearly to comply to IFRA (International Fragrance Association) regulations and for increased profit. When someone tells me that Chanel Bleu is the best fragrance according to them, I always answer, "Which year?" Today's Creed Aventus is not the same formulation as the one they made 5 years ago. And, in 5 years, it will have changed several times.
This may be because I'm overwhelmed by all the options and haven't found my scent, but, this confirms my beliefs that you only wear fragrances for compliments by everyone or want 90-99% of women to find you attractive. I prefer narrowing my dating options and have select interactions with others based on my natural smell. Also, I prefer when compliments are extremely rare as they will become special.
Fragrances are one more tool in the arsenal for all of us. The sense of smell both evokes feelings and ties into the memories of those we interact with. A woman can attach how she felt when she was with you to the scent you were wearing that day. It also helps us feel better about ourselves. Find what you like, but mix it up. You don't need a signature scent to wear all the time. Just like you would not wear the same outfit every day.
@@Jettatura-yn8ss You seem to have skipped over the part of my comment where I mention I believe in your human natural smell. I bet nobody even wears fragrance when going to bed which makes wearing any irrelevant.
@@tradedate You seem to have skipped over the part of my comment where I mention I believe in your human natural smell. I bet nobody even wears fragrance when going to bed which makes wearing any irrelevant.
When you become a real and mature man, the number one quality of a fragrance that you wear is that you really like it. It is secondary if some strange woman likes it. Lastly, when you are in a relationship, it is of utmost importance that your lady loves it.
A was sooo disapointed in abercrombie - first instinct.. it smellls exactly like an axe shower gel i used to have. It s not bad! But i mean i had a 7$ product that smelled exactly like that. I gave me a good throwback to my youth :') good video my man! Keep it up
A unique thing about Jeremy is that he never seems to engage in the backstabbing, gossipy reaction nonsense that seems to beset the fragrance and the wannabe fragrance community.
Several of the subscription companies now have Creed Aventus. You can try 8 ml for about $15. Royalty Scents is a company I really like for the more high end scents. They have a great selection of great houses like Chanel, Creed, Bond #9, Amouage, Parfums de Marly, and many more. Eight and Bob Egypt is one they just got in that is really good and hard to find at discounters.
Jeremy was interesting when I first got into the fragrance game. Nowadays I can't take him, or his recommendations, seriously. He is a fragrance mascot...and a caricature of european men. Anything that comes out that needs to be hyped up...he will be the one the companies pay to hype their stuff up. I trust the opinion of the "Everyday man" these days....knowing more about this fragrance arena and just how easily corrupted it can be.
This video is a great video and a good example of different tastes. It is obvious that both Jeremy and Antonio know what they are talking about, but they will not agree on everything. I've been researching fragrances for years and I've tried almost everything there is to try in order to make a similar list of my favorite fragrances. Out of my top 25, no more than 5 are considered superstars. Bleu de channel, Eros, Sauvage, JPG Ultra Male - none of that is in my top list. However, what makes those scents great is that most people will like them and pick them up in a store. They're solid and liked by almost everyone. Some of my favorite fragrances are Moschino Toy Boy, Tom Ford Fng Fabulous, Maison Martin Margiela By The Fireplace etc. Even though I like them better than Sauvage, I would not put any of them in a superstar list as they will get less compliments from people generally. I would be blown away by MMM Replica, but most people won't be, so Sauvage is a better fragrance in that way.
@@kroppinator Antonios been doing colabs with Monica Cioch recently. You could also look at "Jus de rose" as well if you want womens opinion on fragrence. Avoid "Gents Scents" too. Whilst he clearly loves the subject, his choices are always panned by the ladies.

Jeremy is professional, yes ofc there will be many comfortable and bazaar comments and opinions but thats part of the game.. you win, loose, succeed, and fail but you will surely learn and gain experience.
I finally got a decant of Creed Aventus and the first several times i wore it, I thought it may be the most overblown fragrance of all time. However...I've worn it more lately and had ladies chase me down. I don't know what the difference may have been, but like the Monkees said, "I'm a believer."
To each their own. I used to like jeremy until he became a coke-stripper, then I came across this guy, really sober, funny but not forced.. objectives criticism, not a tryhard.. but then again, some may prefer seeing jeremy do a line and then dancing on his white undies while spraying perfume all over the place

Most people don’t even wear fragrance...
It would've been more correct, if you had said: EVERYONE WHO KNOWS ABOUT PERFUMES wears them...

For me my top 15 fragrances ever (in no order) are:
Guy Laroche - Drakkar Noir
Yves Saint Laurent - La Nuit de L’Homme
Tom Ford - Neroli Portofino
Salvatore Ferragamo - F Black
Calvin Klein - Eternity for Men
Liz Clairborne - Curve
Azzaro - Wanted
Kenneth Cole - Reaction
Dolce & Gabbana - The One
Armaf - Club De Nuit Intense
Chanel - Allure Homme Sport
Paco Rabanne - Invictus
Yves Saint Laurent - Y
Dolce & Gabbana - Light Blue
While I love terre dhermes on myself (its my favorite), most women don't really love it. Vetiver is hard for most women in my age group.
I bought a sample of TDH days ago and it simultaneously smells like a childhood memory fragrance but also like a totally new one. 😀
Everyone universally misses old Jeremy. Wish he would hear that and run with it.
Bro is on crack ig.
The only compliment I got so far while wearing a fragrance was from my mother so I think it is more about how you look and not how you smell
Armaf Club De Nuit Intense is also the closest to being like Creed Aventus!
For me it is Channel Eau de parfum
@@A.fordbey.99 creed Aventus Cologne is the closest to Creed Aventus.

I just bought my first fragrance because of Jeremy. Will buy another soon.
What did you buy?
Pink sugar. Sweet and mild

I’m probably too old for it, but man, Versace Eros just smells so good. Thought maybe it would take the #10 spot, or at least an honorable mention.
@@narutospersona426 how old is 'too young'
You dont have to look like Jeremy to compliments, you have to be confident like he is and wear those perfumes like a superstar that we all are 🌟
Jeremy like a perfume saler
This guy like television cheap sale . His accent and speak speed is terrible
This feels like a family guy cartoon scene when you walk out and then next man walks in and they all giggle and also call him Mr. smell good 😂😂
Hi Antonio, i follow Jeremy fragnance and i have to say that this is one of his best videos if not the best video he has made.

He’s authentic and great stuff ,,, the twirl around made it😂 ,, i bought perfume because of him 👍🏻
One of his million top 10 most complimented fragrances his has
The only fragrance that I own from the list is Acqua di Gio Profumo.
I started watching him but later noticed he talked about the same fragrances around. I do watch him from time to time.
I watch him all the time. Market demands change over time. Reformulations change. Opinions change. He is the best in the fragrance business.
Thanks to Jeremy I have found so many favorite parfumes!
Every compliment is immortal because it lasts forever. Until the person said "nevermind I take it back, I don't like anymore"
I'd love to see your top 10 fragrances, that would be interesting
Thank you RMRS for not being a hater, and even going further to support other men with your same mission.

I just buy what smells good and what I like. Imagine if I bought every fragrance he says to buy I would be broke! He is a good sales man! Now sell me this pen!! Lol
😂🤣🤣🤣
If you bought every fragrance he told you too then you'd either be a scent renter or would have to make your own channel just to get by.
Top 5:
5- Tom Ford - Tobboco Oud
4- Hermes - Terre D'hermes (Pure Parfum)
3- Amouage - Epic
2- Parfum de Marly - Herod
1- Dior Sauvage (can't beat it)
U have such a great fragrance on this list tha I really wonder do u really like them?
True
I can’t wait to see the reviewer, reviewing the reviewer, reviewing the reviewer, reviewing the reviewer. Let’s go 4 deep lol.
that reminds me of filming old thick TVs with a camcorder and the picture gets multiplied to an infinite tunnel.
😂😂😂😂 it's like a "play" performed not on stages but in front of cameras and on social media
I like the no nonsense approach, but it's hard to know when that is happening these days.
Wear something you think smells good for yourself.
I finally got how to pronounce Michael Schumacher in the correct way
A was sooo disapointed in abercrombie - first instinct.. it smellls exactly like an axe shower gel i used to have.
Well said, it’s a little sad to hear this. I’m unsubscribed now.
Very positive person
As someone who smelled Valentino intense its sweet and perfect for dates and intimacy I agree for it being top 10 super good
Won't deny not splashed the cash on Creed, but given the way you and Jeremy talk about it, it's tempting
There's great clones and alternatives that some say are even better than the OG.
Buy a decant sample first
I bought a creed (original santal) bottle on a Facebook group for under 100 dollars.
try club de nuit intense man..a clone of aventus with better performance & lesser price tag
I agree with some of his choices. But some arent just my cup of tea. I do respect his taste though
Smashing my head into the wall for these great fragrances!! Boom

Most Complimented Nr. 2221 Vol. 3332 😁
Great reaction video 👏 I love that you are fair and respect Jeremy, there’s enough negativity and bashing on UA-cam.
Good comment
Curly mocking the legendary Jeremy is too cheap to get numbers. The bashing that he needs help is to me like backstabbing him.
Antonio I would love for you to make some videos with your wife and hear her opinions especially regarding fragrance

Avoid "Gents Scents" too. Whilst he clearly loves the subject, his choices are always panned by the ladies.
The most famous perfume makers do not talk about details with people, and this is what I love about Jeremy. He always tries to make the customer make the right choice through the details.
Jeremy is professional, yes ofc there will be many comfortable and bazaar comments and opinions but thats part of the game.. you win, loose, succeed, and fail but you will surely learn and gain experience.
The real secret of fragrances is to sod whatever Jeremy think, wear what you like and any compliments (or anything else) you get are a bonus
I finally got a decant of Creed Aventus and the first several times i wore it, I thought it may be the most overblown fragrance of all time. However...I've worn it more lately and had ladies chase me down. I don't know what the difference may have been, but like the Monkees said, "I'm a believer."

As a person getting into the perfume business, glad I found his channel
Jermey imho is the best perfume guy on YT I’ve blind bought many bottles based on his recommendations.
To each their own. I used to like jeremy until he became a coke-stripper, then I came across this guy, really sober, funny but not forced.. objectives criticism, not a tryhard.. but then again, some may prefer seeing jeremy do a line and then dancing on his white undies while spraying perfume all over the place

I share his love of great smells and how they make you feel so organically alive I trust that he loves with a passion great scents and he tries to be as genuine as he can with unrehearsed flare that's amusing at times. We all have that one Parfum that began our passionate obsession and we will be biased to it symbolically and pay amouage to that one not for being the best overall but being our first love he tends to do this with Blue Chanel lol
