I’m instantly attracted to any man wearing polo blue. Since university, every time I passed a man wearing this, my head would turn and follow him. When I married my husband I decided to gift him this fragrance and he has worn it ever since 😍 almost 10 years now
I think the cucumber note saves Polo Blue from being too much of a basic aquatic. Still a reliable summer freshie for me. Haven't tried Fahrenheit EDP but heard it leaves out the "gasoline" note in the EDT. Sounds off-putting, smells awesome.
My very first fragrance, was Polo Black. Every single time I smell it I get goosebumps, but I do think it is because it has a strong memory attached to it. And Polo Blue, I have it and when I smell it, I just reminisce about my father and it is just marvellous. Fragrances are certainly bond to memories, and those two... Never in my whole life would I let them go. Thank you for reading :)
I hate D&G Light blue. I had it growing up and one time I put TWO sprays on and all day people around me said “someone put on too much after shave” I was traumatized and I didn’t really enjoy the smell either to be honest. I was just a 15 year old and that’s what I got in my Christmas stocking.
@@peternakic5049 agreed even the light blue intense has weak performance. love the smell but it gets me like 3 hours usually so idk how someone said they smelt too much after shave
Armani code original blend is one of the best performance fragrances on me, last a good 8-9 hours, then fades to subtle. Still smellable after 12hours on skin.
Yep, that‘s right. They are really generic however they‘ve been around for donkeys ears on the market and quite popular among thousands of not-fragrance fans. Moreover, there‘re a plenty of fragrances that smell classic without doubt.
Polo Blue was my first fragrance so it holds sentimental value to me. I don’t reach for it much at all these days because the performance isn’t good. What’s frustrating is that I don’t remember it being so bad when I first bought it in 2002... I guess all the reformulations watered it down.
Polo Blue is still one of my all time favs. Im not a big fragrance guy but do like polo blue and Armani. Actually also love Lacoste Blanc for the price.
I'm surprised to see Dior Fahrenheit on here. Its one of my colognes that I've been complimented the most on, both by women and men. I've personally never found it so strong it gives headaches, but granted I wear very little amounts of cologne in the first place. A small spray and that's it. Its does have a tendency to last REALLY long though.
The fragrance house I despise is surprising: Diptyque. Early on in my fragrance journey I blind bought Eau De Sense. I hated it. I dislike juniper and that fragrance helped me figure that out. Then I tried a decant of Philosykos… more green leaves. Then I tried Do Son. Idk if I got the wrong formulation but it was just more watery green nonsense. I actually like green fragrances but the whole house smells like a botany class.
@Dz ntz Wow that sounds pretty. I love the way actual roses smell. Or used to smell before they started breeding the smell out of them. Which I’ll never understand.
Gucci Flora roped me in. Tried it in the profumeria--beautiful, long-lasting, delicate scent. Bought it and it was like spraying water on me, nothing. I thought it might have been because I was wearing it that I couldn't smell it on me. I asked my friends if they liked my new perfume to which they replied "What perfume?" So that's it, I will never be roped in by Gucci again
I have to disagree, the original Gucci Flora has been my signature for years. On my skin it lasts for hours, and I have been told several times that the people around me associate the smell with me. I guess it depends on the person :)
I just tried Ice Blue Aqua Velva for the first time. I was very impressed. For a $5 bottle of after shave the complexity of the scent was amazing. I also aquired a bottle of 1709 gianno fabina eu de cologne. I have yet to try it though. Some of those drug store fragrences are worth trying. They are staples for a reason.
No offense but I always thought polo was cheap mans cologne. Similar to CK. Only cheap one I liked back in the day was Curve which I have passed on to my younger bros 😁
One of your most practical videos, I know many people who bought cologne that smelled great in the store with opening note and then discovered later those didn’t last for even 1 hour!
My wife recently got me YSL Y and I’ve gotten many compliments on it. It doesn’t last too long on me, maybe around 4-5 hours which is okay. Other than that I enjoyed the video ha!
"a fragrance can't be too strong!" *Picks up farenheit parfum* "this fragrance is too strong" haha. I agree with this video for the most part though, I just thought that was funny! Not hating!
Patrick Gorman I have both versions and absolutely love both! For me the only difference between those two are -EDP lasts 1-2 hours longer (8-9 hours) -EDT Version hasn’t that fruity apple opening at the beginning That’s it I love both
I can agree with Jeremy on YvesSaintLaurent Y. I bought it a couple of days ago and I really liked the beginning but after about an hour or two, the smell really died down. You had to get really close to smell it. Meanwhile my uncle had Creed Aventus on and he had sprayed it in the morning and it was night already and it still smelled lile he sprayed it an hour ago. I was really hoping for better longetivity from Y but it just dissapointed me. I like polo ultra blue and polo gold blend but I can also agree that gold blend does have a shower gel smell.
I was given a free bottle of YSL Y EDT from a major retailer long story, smelt great but gone in 30mins but they finally got it right with Ysl Y edp. Now that lasts all day.
I was wearing polo blue the other day, I got asked by a lady what it was. I was shocked she would even ask because it smells so generic, I hesitated for a minute told her polo blue. She said she loved it of course she did, but I smelt like I just took a shower, if I had told her that she probably would’ve believed it
Definitely keep doing your hits and misses Jeremy. While there will always be those who will disagree or even get upset, if you frame your criticism that can be helpful to both the consumer and even the creator of the product.
Growing up in Brasil I remember going into my fathers bathroom and putting his Fahrenheit on before school 😂 I loved it so much. He never ever wore it preferring instead Cartier and Bijan colognes. The one and only cologne in the world that makes my stomach turn in disgust is men’s Issey Miyake.
@@uhCaFah I bought alfred sung perfume and longevity is really poor lasting only 1 HR but on fragantica it's voted as long lasting which was a head scratching moment for me.
I am assuming he meant the YSL Y EDT because I recently bought the YSL Y EDP and it practically lasts the whole day and the dry down is just superb. So for those who love Y, just go straight for the EDP.

I bought Jimmy Choo Man Intense EDT a couple of days after trying it out at a store and bought it online a month or so later. As much as I like the sweetness of the initial spray I don't feel like it lasts that long. I think it's got to do with the nozzle and how it makes the perfume spread
Abercrombie Fierce has been around for awhile and I have to agree, it was very strong when I bought a bottle years ago. I just sampled some and ended up buying a bottle. I don't know if they re formulated it, but it seems a bit smoother and less offensive. Gets a lot of compliments!
Bogart One Man Show Gold Edition. Blind bought it 9 years ago because it was only $15 and people said it was a powerhouse fragrance. Sprayed it once on my clothes and it made the entire room smell like urinal cakes. Took a whole week for the smell to disappear. The bottle is now sitting on my bookshelf collecting dust still 99.9% full.
I agree, pllease make more of these. I bought Aqua Di Gior 3 years ago as I loved it back then. It was my go to ET perfume. It barely lasts an hour, so disappointing and it costs so much here in South Africa. However I got of those small travel spray bottles and carry it with me. Disappointing as compared to the older one that used to last the whole day and stayed in your clothing for days as well. I absolutely hate Fahrenheit. My Uncle used to wear it and I used to get a migraine whenever he visited, so intense it is.
I have many colognes, both designer and niche alike. While in a Zara store on 5th avenue, I came across the cologones they offer. I fell in love instantly. I purchased 2, for 19.99 each I believe. As a younger guy, I noticed that girls my age prefered the colognes from Zara as the "younger" smell attracted them. If You are from the ages 16-27, I think Zara Colognes are the way to go for an everyday use. They are very simple and minimalist colognes that most women prefer. My designer fragrances are too sophisticated for a 17 year old girl too understand and truly enjoy it. As a fragrance enthusiast, I suggest having 3-4 Designer fragrances for special nights, such as weekend dates, parties, and interviews, and a few cheap fragrances like Zara and maybe even Perry Ellis if you can lean towards a bit more. This way you save money and still always smell great! In conclusion, Zara offers a long lasting sexy cologne that will attract every female and is suitable for most situations, in fact, all, for a remarkable fraction of the cost of a designer fragrance.
Benjamin Monessa I wouldn’t say designer colognes are too sophisticated. Women love sweeter scents like ultra male and of course 1 million but ultimately I think it’s better to wear what you think smells good. I don’t think there’s anything wrong adding sophistication to your arsenal

Gucci guilty Intense is one of those scents that smell good but doesn't have the performance you'd expect from a Gucci product. I'll buy the original to see if it's better. That's my Opinion keep the Vids coming Jeremy (Tom Brady of fragrance).
A huge warning about CK Summer 2019. It doesn't smell anything! It smells at first, but wears off after a couple of minutes. Just like CK Summer last year. I learned my lesson, don't buy them anymore!
I am also a fan of it. To me it smells very fresh and green. Like a tropical jungle but has something weird inside which makes it so unique I don't know if you agree. In terms of fuel smell it would be gucci guilty absolute which I also own. I like its performance and that it's very masculine
Hi Jeremy, I love Fahrenheit on my man, but Eau de toilette !! It's so different from Eau de parfum that is makes it so much better and the performance is that of an edp.
Uff Jeremy, I often share your opinion but Armani Code... It is my most complimented fragance by far. Women love it on me and I think its only rival is La nuit. Some of the flankers are good but not as sexy as the original one in my opinion. Greetings

Fragrances are certainly bond to memories, and those two... Never in my whole life would I let them go.
Thank you for reading :)
I get it completely .Sflowers Elizabeth Arden is my wedding day perfume one spray and I'm back !
I always get compliments when I wear Armani Code. Very long lasting as well.
1:58 totally thought he was going to throw that bottle into outer space lmaoooo
Looool
🤣🤣🤣
I hate D&G Light blue. I had it growing up and one time I put TWO sprays on and all day people around me said “someone put on too much after shave” I was traumatized and I didn’t really enjoy the smell either to be honest. I was just a 15 year old and that’s what I got in my Christmas stocking.
I don't like either.
Where the hell do you live where 2 sprays of light blue is too much?
@@peternakic5049 agreed even the light blue intense has weak performance. love the smell but it gets me like 3 hours usually so idk how someone said they smelt too much after shave
@@peternakic5049 some people find it vulgar if they can smell perfume on you.
@@MiamiPush2theLimit Some people are very miserable hahaha
Armani code original blend is one of the best performance fragrances on me, last a good 8-9 hours, then fades to subtle. Still smellable after 12hours on skin.
You should definitely rank the hugo boss fragrances, love from finland!
Exactly, it got pretty bad since 2002...especially after they released the EDP...
Good office/everyday perfume can't go wrong obviously there's much better but for every day use its good
Armani Code when it *FIRST* came out, amazing! It’s undeniably 100000000% has been reformulated and doesn’t even smell not even a HINT of the og
Polo Blue is still one of my all time favs. Im not a big fragrance guy but do like polo blue and Armani. Actually also love Lacoste Blanc for the price.
Armani Acqua di Gio has got to be one of the best scents I have felt.
I always watch your youtube channel. Love the way you pronounce, "zero performance."
Zeeee’ho
I've been trying to find a review for my perfume (Polo Black) and it turns out it's one of the ones he hates.
I agree 100% "A fragrance can NEVER be too strong" -JF
Amen
Strength.
I'm surprised to see Dior Fahrenheit on here. Its one of my colognes that I've been complimented the most on, both by women and men. I've personally never found it so strong it gives headaches, but granted I wear very little amounts of cologne in the first place. A small spray and that's it. Its does have a tendency to last REALLY long though.
its the parfum which has a stronger smell with a some different notes. the classic fahrenheit edt is great
U have edp or edt?
That’s it tho people overload on aftershaves that are already strong if it’s strong u only need a spray or two
Fahrenheit smells amazing
@@Noerko21p I use the edp
Oh wow gucci flora did me dirty too. Beautiful fragrance but zero staying power.
I have to disagree, the original Gucci Flora has been my signature for years. On my skin it lasts for hours, and I have been told several times that the people around me associate the smell with me. I guess it depends on the person :)
I love Gucci Bloom and it lasts for ages.
When he sprayed polo blue I thought he was about to throw it
If you watch jeremy videos enough you will know he is doing tht to attract the scents in the air hehe
No offense but I always thought polo was cheap mans cologne. Similar to CK. Only cheap one I liked back in the day was Curve which I have passed on to my younger bros 😁
DenisK man curve brings back memories lol, I used to wear it in high school a lot.
One of your most practical videos, I know many people who bought cologne that smelled great in the store with opening note and then discovered later those didn’t last for even 1 hour!
Thx for the compliment
Aqua di gio Quickest bottle I went thru Great smell Lacking performance
UA-cam recommeded me this video today, after a year. I love it ❤️
Thank You.
Make a video about the top 5 fragrances you disbelief that would ever be replaced by any other following fragrances, 10 years from now.
Not hating!
Polo Blue: I must admit I love it. This one I dislike. 🙂
He contradicts himself atimes.
smell and performance/sillage are two different things.
@Ivan Alexander relax bro, it's a comment from a year where I even said I was just teasing haha
I thought that too XD
"A perfume can never be too strong", 30 seconds later "this perfume is too dense, it gives me a head ache" =S
“Hi, ladies and German”
YSL Y is an outstanding fragrance, bought the Eau De Parfum version and it performs brilliantly for me
EDP is amazing and Jeremy has multiple videos on it. He's simply hating on the EDT version
Patrick Gorman I have both versions and absolutely love both! For me the only difference between those two are
-EDP lasts 1-2 hours longer (8-9 hours)
-EDT Version hasn’t that fruity apple opening at the beginning
That’s it I love both
O p T ¡ X x ofc the EDP lasts longer.. :)
Got both. EDP straight sexy. EDT is nice, fresh, out the shower fragrance. Got compliments on it several times. Just spray a LOT.
Agree with you for most of them, but not for Armani Code. AC is soooo wonderfulllll
Hòa Au totally agree. My signature scent
@kt95 gy Code Absolu is awesome. So smooth. Winter in a bottle
She said she loved it of course she did, but I smelt like I just took a shower, if I had told her that she probably would’ve believed it
6:36 “I just don’t like it”
Thats one of my favs tho 🥺
Let’s be honesty here Jeremy......you’re well qualified to discuss bad /disliked fragrances even if it is a personal preference thing.
YSL: Y has earned me many compliments and staredowns by the girlfriend 😂
It smells great my favorite but doesn't last long.
@@ornelasjorge9102 Really? According to fragrantica it lasts a very long time.
@@uhCaFah i think there are like three variations of it, and the other two of them are more intense and longer lasting.
@@uhCaFah I bought alfred sung perfume and longevity is really poor lasting only 1 HR but on fragantica it's voted as long lasting which was a head scratching moment for me.
I smelled this on one guy I used to date and it's so immersive. Shocked to see it on this list
Perfume is very personal so it really shouldn't matter what he hates.
No shit, its HIS opinion
That's exactly what he said
Agree with the list except Fahrenheit Parfum. I think that’s fantastic!!
i dunno. It smells like gasoline
Mugen Infinite I don’t get the gasoline smell from the parfum version, just the edt.
He looked so good back then
He looks fabulous now
This idea of fragances you hate, you can make it with woman fragances.
There were woman fragrances in the video
I am assuming he meant the YSL Y EDT because I recently bought the YSL Y EDP and it practically lasts the whole day and the dry down is just superb. So for those who love Y, just go straight for the EDP.
Yes that is the edt, it’s has the light colored bottle/juice, the edp has a darker bottle
Gotta respect a man that can tell the Truth and be Honest in this day and age where people (esp. "Influencers" etc) will say anything to make fast $$$. Thanks Jeremy! 💪💯👍
Jeremy: "A fragrance can never be too strong."
Amouage Interlude: "Hold my beer."
Tcheverlika Lol
Literally 😂
Or any Nasomatto scent
Amouage sucks.. I hate it
Plot twist these are all companies that Jeremy lost deals with lmao
Bogart One Man Show Gold Edition. Blind bought it 9 years ago because it was only $15 and people said it was a powerhouse fragrance. Sprayed it once on my clothes and it made the entire room smell like urinal cakes. Took a whole week for the smell to disappear. The bottle is now sitting on my bookshelf collecting dust still 99.9% full.
OH GOD... I remember that one. Bogart Pour Homme on the other hand is an amazing cheapie.
Ok I don’t know if you’ve ever done female version of fragrances you don’t like but I would be interested to see 🤩
Fahrenheit Le Parfum too stronk for the army lol. My favorite fragrance is not for the faint of heart.
Congratulations on 800.000+ followers!! You are the best Jeremy!!🍀🍀
"a fragrance can NEVER be too strong" "this ones too strong"
Hey Jeremy, Please make a video on Mon Guerlain ETP and Mon Guerlain Bloom Of Rose EDT. Thanks.
Hi Jeremy, could you make a video about Zara fragrances please
THIS content should be put out more Jeremy, keep it real dude ! It’s not always about the good stuff, point out the bad stuff as well so we have a better understanding of what not to buy lol. 👍🏼👍🏼
I dislike smelling like everybody, I like to keep my fragrance selections out of sight. Do a Below the radar fragrance video.
Your videos inspired me to stack perfumes! I started with a lot of blind buys from your suggestions and I must say I loved them all
Gucci guilty Intense is one of those scents that smell good but doesn't have the performance you'd expect from a Gucci product.
I love the original CK one...very citrussy & Summery..
@@Anamarie157 Yes, but the Summer editions have been really bad the last years.
@@Wowmusicable
Sorry, I can't comment as I don't know what the Summer edition smells like..
I dislike Dior Sauvage but the problem is....My wife and daughter just love it!
Love dior too.
Then find another one... I mean another wife 😉
I no longer wear Polo Black but before reformulation it was my most complimented fragrance! Even more than Sauvage! 😂
I wonder why many people dislike Versace - The Dreamer. Some reactions include: "It smells like gasoline". I personally love it.
Greetings
Ralph Lauren - Polo Black -> 👁 👄 👁
Bro I miss 2020 Jeremy 😢
