Right. Now you can play with him like that. I wanna see one year later the same game. Maybe you get lucky and dog not gonna eat whole hand, just a half.
Just wanna share that these are (one of the) hardest breeds to own. I dont wanna scare u but i personally work with 4 of these dogs and ive seen 7+ dogs of this breed and they can be brutal if u dont know how to work with them 😉
@Nik that can depend on the dog's personality. Im just saying u shouldn't underestimate the caucasian shepherd. Ive seen akitas and caucasian shepherds in training and from experience, i can say that caucasians are more difficult to train. But it is completely possible that ur specific akita is more difficult
@Blib _ Yes true, every dog is an individual.. sadly my Akita Passed at just over 12.. over two years ago hopefully my new Caucasian Shepherd puppy won't be as challenging. I know I wouldn't underestimate this breed at all.. i do know that Shepherd's tend to listen more compared to Akitas which can be extremely aloof, independent and dominant and have a extremely high prey drive.. I guess it would be pretty close in terms of trainability. Also they are alot more unpredictable and often attack without warning

It's an aggression test; higher aggression go as livestock guardians which is what they're bred for (note how the puppy ONLY went for his hand when he was rough housing, not when he wasn't touching), lower aggression go as family pets as they aren't up for the job of livestock protection.
This is a wonderful dog. The reasons I don't have one is because my yard is not large enough and the breed is not appropriate for the Texas heat where I live.

so his is considered aggressive puper?
That's a bad way to test "aggression level" this isn't testing anything I trained over 150 breeds this is just wrong
Thats not how u train him or her tho
U don't hit a dog and expect him to be a good guard
