These are all lakes from central Pennsylvania to western Pennsylvania. What about eastern Pennsylvania? Also, Raystown Lake is in central Pennsylvania and is one of the premier fishing lakes in the entire USA.

Beltsville lake in Lehighton, PA. I absolutely love the lake. The stipper fishing is legendary. Also have a ton of different species in it. Raystown Lake is absolutely by far my favorite. The size alone is perfect for practice if you intend to try ocean boating. For a good weekend you can rent a house boat let alone bring your own vessel. Most forgotten lake in PA is Leaser Lake. It's like no one goes. Electric only and dam was repaired. Lots of weed cover. Monster fish in that lake. Love it because no horse play with other boaters. It's a quiet smooth lake that you can set out and slam fish all day. Great video. I definitely like to get out to 2 lakes you mentioned in the video.

    • @leviwooten3795

I live in in Warren county and kinzua is by far one of my most frequent spots a great area is the tailwaters of the dam easy to lose tackle as only way to catch something is to grab worms or live minows weight the line down with egg sinkers about oz and a half is what I use so the current takes it a little before dropping all the way cast it about half way out the channel. Let it sit and you'll bang some big fish. Bring a drop net with about 30-40 feet of rope with it or you'll have a 90% chance of losing a fish. For fishing the resivoir don't fish in anyway high traffic areas. This is fished year round and I mean all year. If you're gonna fish high traffic area fish at night. But for fishing during the day go into the coves where everything can fill in drift wood and shit fish those areas you'll pound fish all day long and if you want walleye and pike just weight the line down cast as far as possible and let a worm or live minows sink with the weight have it roughly a foot and a half off bottom and wait for a fish to grab it. Works for me almost every single cast out there although I can wait hours till a fish takes baait

@@leviwooten3795 WOW sounds pretty good and looking forward to trying some spots out I can't wait especially if it's as good of fishing as your saying it is I just don't have any experience there at all, hell I've only been there 3 or 4 times last year and was stuck most of the weekends hiding from the thunderstorms and downpours. I really like the walleye fishing and crappie and perch and some night time cat fishing but I have an impatient 12yr old boy and he gets bored pretty quick if the bite is slow so a killer panfish spot or 2 is always really good to know also so we can at least get into some lip snatching anyhow hahaha. I really do appreciate the information as well as absolutely anymore good info you may be able to throw my way I'm really green to this place and I have a 20ft deck boat and we like to do a lot of camping as well and usually try to make a weekend of it all and last year the couple times I was there we just had a little spot with a fire ring on a crooked sloped bank that we tied up to the spot and it wasn't big enough to even pitch a tent just used it for the fire and slept on the boat and we also take our 100lb. Chocolate lab with us anytime we go and if you or anyone else have any good info on places to stay that we can get to from boat but yet maybe like a campground that we can have tents and vehicle and trailer and be able to take our dog with us and that isn't expensive to rent a good spot on the water and preferably around the lower dam area of the resivor as we usually just launch and park at Wolf run marina but any help would be so much help as money is kinda tight these days with the income being abit slow right now but it really does seem like a really big and nice place just wish there were a lot more nice free shoreline camping spots in that area were you can actually set up some tents and whatnot but like I said I'm really pretty green to this resivor and don't really know a damn thing about the fishing and camping or really much of anything for that matter 😂 thank you very much once again for the information I really do appreciate it a ton and like I said anything else you can think of or let me know i would love to hear about it I'd really like to be able to go up there anyday and anytime of the day and reliably catch quite a few fish and possibly locate some really nice camping locations cheap or free is always best and of course dog friendly awesome info man much appreciated 👍

The Que was my hometown dam when I lived in Somerset the past 8 years. Always did well from shore in early summer fishing the western bank, just a bit south of the boy scout camp and the campground. Plenty of chunky smallmouth and largemouth on senkos and whopper ploppers. Green Bridge on the southern end has also produced some nice fish for myself and my brothers, as well as the creek channel on the southern end near the small boat launch.

It depends on where you live but I feel like aside from Erie , the eastern side of the state has better trout water. If your set on a lake I’d say like Raystown or Wallenpaupak , but full disclosure I don’t fish for them much anymore and when I do , I go local to me in the streams. Unless you find a really small impoundment that the stock browns in. There’s allot of good resources online too that could open up a door for you to find a hot spot.

Northern pike fishing in pa is tough , although you can find rivers and lakes that will produce fish. Your best bet is to get of fish and boat website and look for the closest body of water near you. Lancaster is tough you may have to drive, you may have a better shot at pike and Musky too in the Delaware River. The Delaware water gap is really really good. Maybe good to look into. Wallenpaupack maybe a longer drive for you but it is big beautiful and offers allot of species! Allot of the pike waters I fish are out western pa, like the Allegheny River and conneautt lake.

Plenty of shoreline access, and an easy walk of a couple miles on a crushed limestone path around the water. The numbers are high and the lake is thriving for all species. Second a guy I work with has caught two beautiful 40 inch class muskies out of there this year and a number of others. Third my buddy fished up there in the summer and the boat traffic frustrated him until he left. I’d fish it early and late seasons to avoid boat traffic and depending on what your chasing , I feel confident that the lake is healthy and should be considered a top lake in the state. I just haven’t fished it , but when I update this video , it may make my list.
