I always pushed my battery all the way back in . Never had it at the front . And 2300 fits nice
The word fun has this jet written all over it. Very nice! 👍🏽
Suggestions for beginning pilot flying this F15.. What breaks on this jet is the nose cone and the front part of the fuselage by the inlets. Tip is to put a thin layer of clear epoxy on the nose and the front part of the fuselage. This helps strength these areas and reduces the damage. Wheels are about useless...hand launch in SAFE. This gives you plenty of time to get back to the controls. Actually one time I put the transmitter on the ground and hand launched with SAFE. F15 flew straight and level no problem...but it was headed out to the wild blue yonder so I did have to grab the sticks. Otherwise, a great trainer jet. If you are going to buy spare parts buy the fuselage, cockpit and nose cone. Nose cone is optional...it will fly without one. :)
Double stick tape on the nosecone prevents it from coming off, thus preventing the damaged cone.
I added inboard flaps yo mine. It really helps with fhe long role out. It also rotates in half the distance
Oldie but a goodie!
Oh my gosh. My F-15 hasn't looked like that nice in ages. It's got at least 20 toothpicks in it to keep the shape of the cockpit and canopy after quite a few wrecks.
Got a second one NIB waiting until I fully destroy this one.
This is the best 64 mm EDF around. We crashed mine and the entire front half of the airplane broke off. We took the receiver out an attached it to the back half along with a battery and we continue to fly it like that now and it does great.
I put some nav lights on mine and it looks awesome
LOVE THIS JET GREAT FIRST JET GREAT VALUE FLYS AMAZING.🇬🇧 PILOT RYAN RC 🇺🇸🗽♥️💯🕊️👍
My first edf
Great flight shakedown. A really nice beginner EDF.
Nice job guys. Love it…. Let’s see a hand launch next time!
Real nice looking plane, I'd max out the Aileron rate if using SAFE, OTHERWISE.. will be crossing county lines as ya go from downwind to final!🤣👍
F-15 has that combination of lifting body+high alpha capability w/the semi-delta wing, like the F-22, twin tails lock it in & help keep roll stability&track like on rails!
Looks good, sounds good, good features & light wing loading..
Really nice plane!
Good vid guys!
Love to see this 15 getting some fresh eyes and flights! For 4s it really scoots! Great shakedown!
He only had my navigation lights ha David
Great vid Ryan. I run mine with a Roaring Top 2700 mah with 4 minute mixed throttle flight. Fits in there perfectly. That jet is the best bang for your buck IMO. Great little jet 👍
love it
I think we definitely need to see a hand launch right in to rolling loops Boss!
Love the shakedowns
Already have several edfs but that one still interests me. Great flight ryan and Bobby k
Hey Ryan and Bobby! Excellent Shakedown flight and beginner tutorial on the characteristics of the planes flight and landing! That's sweet looking and flying F-15 for sure! Very nice camerawork by Bobby as well! Thumbs up! Best regards!
Definitely is a great flying jet. I say hand launch without the gear and try some hi alpha stuff I think it can go much slower 👍👍😎👊✌
great flying plane; looking good...
Let’s see that hand launch!
Cool little jet 👍 Algorithm fed
Nice video Ryan. I have one and have yet to maiden…
Ya, let’s see a good hand toss! 😎
Wow! this one is very cool, I am getting one from Amazon
Such a fine jet !
And should be a fine next EDF trainer, after practicing with the Habu ST ....
I suppose ....
Cheers !
Easy to fly but a challenge to land. The receiver in these planes are locked and cannot be used in other aircraft despite being a 630 model. They refuse to release the serial number on the receiver so you cannot register the receiver, but you can register the plane. Because you cannot reuse the receiver after a crash that totals the plane, it lowers the value for the money spent substantially. This plane has no rudder control so it lacks some yaw control, especially for pilots that typically use rudder controls for turning. Nose wheel turning is not very good and steers like a tugboat. As an entry level jet for RC pilots, I would look elsewhere.😊
I have to put my 4S all the way to the back but it is a hard case so I don't know if it's a little heavier or what
Fantastic flying as usual! Been thinking about picking one of these up, nice looking jet! Hand launch it!😁🍻
Yep hand launch and belly land in grass.
Nice shakedown video Ryan. Would love to see this up in the air with the T-7A. How would you compare it with the T-7?
Nice my friends from anotha motha. Ok. Hand toss. We’re waiting. 😉
Plz do a vid of you hand launching this, the hh shows a fella doing it sitting down, so I thought yeah easy . Not so .
My F-15 has taken a couple of nasty noes hits so I but carbon fiber rods through the fuselage on each side to stiffen it. I find that my F-15 comes down really fast so at times it’s hard to handle on landings. Did you kill the throttle on all those landings? I never thought to do that. I will try it on my next flight. I would like to see a hand-launch video though!
Give it the Yugoslavia bros. hand toss...please
An entertaining demo on a 4s edf. Do another flight without the gear.
Nice Airplane Pilot Ryan. Thanks for the Video? May I ask Questions here or Saturday night. I did pull the Trigger on my First Sailplane/glider and now have to Find A Teacher in my Area. Take Care and God Bless you and Family. Greg of Ohio
Always hand launch it, how about a hand launched viper 90mm😁
Make it interesting- Hand launch with 3S. Double dog dare you!!
👊👊😊
Please show vertical capability.
Hand Launch! Hand Launch! Hand Launch! Hand Launch!
Filmed the hand launch yesterday. Should be out very soon.
HAND LAUNCH PLEASE SIR
Forgive me for my ignorance, what does expo mean? I'm new to the hobby.
Sorry this took so long to answer. Expo basically softens the sticks around neutral stick position which can help to tame or smooth out a jittery looking flight. Normally, you wouldn’t want a lot. Personally I default to 20 percent expo on my surfaces. If you do too much then the feel becomes mushy and behind. Just a little seems to help a lot.
😁🇺🇸👍🏼
Yah for no gear hand launch video !!
