What's wrong with the 2S38?

With each new War Thunder update, new top tier premium vehicles have been added to the game. While these started as just $20-30 at most, they have now reached prices of $75 each. Just 2 years ago, people would have called you crazy for even suggesting that gaijin would sell premiums for over $50 each, but they now go up by significant amounts each update.
Even though Gaijin has been following the roadmap, it still requires a premium vehicle and an active premium account in order to timely progress past rank III. Whilst most people have no problem with free to play games being monetized in some ways, how war thunder is being monetized is absolutely predatory.
A good example of this is the 2S38. The 2S38 is a premium soviet light tank, with a 57mm autocannon with 225mm of penetration that can shred through enemy armour with its half a second reload rate.
This means that it can pen the side of the M1a2 abrams, leopard 2a7, t80BVM, challenger 3, TKX, VT4A1, Ariete, Leclerc, Stridsvagn 122 and the Merkava mk.4, all of which are the best tanks available for their respective nations.
And you might be thinking: why is this bad? There are a lot of other vehicles like it that have the same capabilities, and while that is true, none of them are premiums. Now, this may not seem that bad at first, but the way that gaijin balances vehicles means that it can be exploited very easily. Because players that are new to the game can immediately buy this vehicle, it means that a lot of the players are less skilled than average as they have a lot less experience. You can see this in the winrates of certain nations in or around the battle ratings that premiums are in. Since the players are less skilled, it means that gaijin will see that the statistics of these premium vehicles are bad, and do a class gaijin "balancing" moment. This means that premium tanks like the 2S38 are lowered in battle rating, and so face weaker tanks in turn. This means that if a more experienced player uses the 2S38, they will go up against people in considerably worse vehicles than their own. Not only is this unfair for players at lower battleratings, but it then incentivises them to buy premium vehicles of their own, which gives gaijin a reason not to fix this system.
So how can gaijin fix this? This is a complex problem that cannot be solved overnight, but a good first step would be not allowing accounts under level 25 to buy premiums over rank 4. While this is not perfect, it would at least somewhat stabilise the win rates of premium vehicles, at least enough to the point that they will be placed back into a fair place in the matchmaker.

dont forget that spamming any top tier MBT with 2s38 FROM THE FRONT will kill it, theres plenty of weakspots you can absolutely rape with apfsds flying every .5 seconds
