While your luck with the calliope can be considered to be dogwater, you need to be queued with teammates who will pin down enemies for you to bomb. You effectively need to work as apart of a pack for this vehicle to be effective. It is an investment, so if you have short patience, you need to avoid buying and playing this vehicle. You can sit on points in realistic and replenish and be a complete point lockdown device. Your rockets at that point become de facto smoke, and you need to abuse how scary the rockets are for the enemy team. Empty your rockets as fast as possible upon finding enemy contact, this vehicle is very much a "shot not fired is a shot missed", and if you don't do teamwork with it, you're not going to have a fun time. I have friends who occasionally hop on, and they love the Calliope being on their team, it's not a solo-play vehicle, it's a Sherman with Rockets, and it needs help from friends to see its full potential. If you have friends who play warthunder and would like to get locked in on min/maxxing the rocket angles and bombing the enemy based on allied signalling, this vehicle is certainly a must-have. However if you're playing solo, this vehicle is a meme pick, and sometimes you'll have great luck, others you'll want to find the nearest rope and create a man-made guillotine. It's really a do-or-die sort of vehicle, and I would say find some teammates at the B.R. up to 6.0, the Calliope can uptier really well with good rocket coordination as it's one of the few rocket artillery vehicles in the earlier tiers, and that ability alone makes it a great tank. You need to find the soft-spot and learn to enjoy when people hard-focus your "goalpost", as you existing takes aggro off allied units as well, as people will want to find you instead of your allies. So if you're playing solo-queues, don't pick this. If you have teammates who have braincells, i.e. people you found prior that have warthunder and have voice communication or basic pinging skills, you may find good in the Calliope. This is all from my experience with it.
