I love hearing that "welcome back fishin' freaks"
Love it...more catfish videos. My boss caught me watching this video and he just sat down with me and finished watch it. Lol
I believe he's enjoying his new boat
Proof that you don't really need a 50k bass boat to enjoy a day on the lake.
@@aquariumaddict word
a year ago i sold both of my big boats ( 20ft and 32ft). bout a 1542 with a 15hp... best move i ever made!!
@@aquariumaddict I fished for year form an Alumacraft T-14, basically an over grown canoe! Boat itself was 120 pounds, I slid it in the back of the pickup solo a lot! 15hp Johnson that would idle so slow you could watch the prop kick over. Mainly fished northern pike and walleye so slow trolling was key. Spent thousands of hours in that boat in some pretty dang big waves at times. I was fishing at the same time a bass tournament was going on and we had a gale blow up. To get back into the bay where the boat ramp was you had to funnel through a narrow channel and the waves were swamping the bass boats trying to get in. I rode the throttle and surfed the face of a wave until I got into the bay and it dissipated! Sometimes a smaller boat has advantages! I would have probably swamped if I got sideways but who tries to turn in waves that are 5' tall?
Best lfg vid in a long time hands down 😂
I might be crazy, but I like the john boat videos better than the bass boat ones.
Nostalgia maybe.
Awe
For my jug tags I have a laminated paper with my info and a blank date line and i use a china marker, its kinda like a wax pencil, its water proof and wipes off easy to just write the new date on it. Also for larger cats I use 7/0 circle hooks and large chunk of tilapia from the freezer section and if possible fresh caught cut carp or suckers works really good. And I usually use a rod and reel on the bottom in 30+ foot of water.
Back to the jug lines! WHISKER BISCUITS!!!!! Golden crispies!! Gotta name it the Dangle Dingy
Then we could have Justin make some his and her shirt's that read she likes his Rod and he likes her Bobbers
Flairs boat is named the dangle dingy gotta be something else for sure
@@johnlegg6837 yeah I dont watch Flair... good call
Yeah that’s flairs boat name
Justin Spurlock missing out..
Best technique to catch blue cats... do a collab with catfishandcarp!
That is a good time for sure.
Loving these vids with the new Jon boat
I follow lots of fishing and outdoor creators and can say for sure you are the same as you were when I found your channel years ago. Some guys changed and to be honest it isn’t for the best in my opinion. Thank you so much for providing a few minutes of peace and enjoyment for me. I hope you continue to grow and I will keep your family in my prayers.
Jon Boat jingles are 🔥🔥🔥
Loving the Dangle Dhingy! Looks fun...
I voted for this one.
The Dangly?
The last jug video with Lunkers was epic, Love it when that bass is pulled up. Best video ever. Youre too cool LFG
One of the best videos you have put out in a long time! Loving it!
Can’t wait for the next one! Love these Jon boat vidjas man!
This is hands down the happiest I've seen you in a video for some time. Looked that boat took you back to what got you started down this road.
Great video. Blue Catfish can be tricky but shallow water with structure next to deep water and casting into both is usually good. Helps to have good fresh bait like shad.
Little Whisker! Big cat! Whisker licker! Just a few names for the speed boat! That yamaha is moving right along!! Great video!
Awesome Jon Boat!! I love these jug line videos. We can’t do this type of fishing or trot lines in California. 🎣
It’s got to be “The Rob’s envy” after his one
Simon Elleston ROFL. ~ Texas
That jingle needs to go on a shirt
Brooo that’s what I’m saying that freakin jingle was dope as hell!! I hit rewind like 10 times lol
Where I’m from in Georgia we’ve always set cat lines on tree limbs hanging over the water and just hook a whole brim about the size of your hand. I’ve caught some monsters doing it
Big hook, big baits, catch big blues. I love my John boat!
Lovin the jon boat vids!!! Nothing like getting more simple
I think that's the best jingle I've heard from you!!! First time I've gone back to listen to a jingle over and over.
Great video! Fine boat!
I love the video. The best method for blue cats I use is very simple. I set a whole of half bluegill on a large circle hook. Then I have an 18 inch Fluor leader from the main line with a 1 to 2 oz weight. I set the baits in about 15 to 25 feet of water. I hope this is a helpful tip.
The Dangle Dingy! Love it! My vote, hands down :)
Every man needs a little boat for this reason. So much fun can be had!
We use the 2-liter bottle style rigs, equipped with bottom rig set up. We take the paper off and stick a bunch of glow sticks in the bottle, works great a night. A 2 oz weight will set the bottle just barely on its side. So if anything hits it, it will stand straight up. We mainly do it at night, but we have a blast doing it. I'll post a video showing what we do sometime when it warms up just a tad. The shad fishing is about to take off in my area. Then the rock fish, so after that I'll start putting a hurting on the cat fish. Yee!! Yee!!
I love watching your videos. Due to poor health I can’t go fishing anymore. But with a little good luck and the grace of God maybe that will change. I now do my fishing through watching your channel. Maybe one day we could fish together. I know about your health struggles and I pray for you often. Hang in there my friend. I live in south Louisiana where fishing is a way of life. Keep the videos coming. PLEASE !!!!!
We've done pretty well with all beef hot dogs. Letting them drift in the spring in 65 degree water gets us a lot. First thing in the morning is the best time. On good days, we can have 150lbs of fish and be off the lake by lunch.
Oh so enjoyed going along for the ride, Awesome white Bass. ~ Texas
Now thats my type of fishing.
Catfishing and jug fishing is the life i live with pand and bass fishing.
Each state laws are different.
my stat of indiana no jug fishing on lakes and while on the river we must be able to see the jugs at all times.
you should try bank poles.
when yall ready ,come spring 2020 the wabash river in terre haute indiana and my Mudd Duck boat is ready.
just regular ol fishing....cut lines,mixed catch...loved it
I like the new boat! Glad you were able to get a catfish on your first outing.
i gave that like button a Smash , just for you Justin !!! great video man !!! lookin ahead foeward to this winters videos !!! thanks !!!
That was one Sow Bellied channel cat The Dangle Wrangler is running Awesome! Great vid LFG
Loved the job boat jingle..
Catfish are very fun to catch!!👍🔥
Catfish and white bass are amazing but homemade pizza waiting on you after a day on the water is definitely worth putting a delay on 'em.
Love these vidjas
Jon Boat Jingles , so cool LFG !
Fall was my favorite day of the year too!
Live bluegills has always been my bait of choice. Caught a lot of big blues and flatheads on them
Duck sause, whiskers,puddle jumper,boot scoot n boogie, swamp buggie🙄💖😁💜

@@StopFishingStartCatching cool!!...liked yore fishin challenge...im in austin tx, u guys near here...looked like the guadalupe where ur challenge was 😀😘😃😁💜💖🎈💞😍
John boat jingles are great!!!!!
We need some more Rackley & Rob adventures! As for catfishin I use 6-12ft cane/cut poles. Use brown bamboo or hang green bamboo for at least a week. Use a knife instead of a machete to limb the bamboo. My main bait for catfish is Shrimp (not bait shrimp but stuff yud eat) or Sour gummy worms yes I'm serious. Best of luck!
That Flat Rat Dinghy is a nice addition to your channel. I enjoy watching you catch a variety of fish. Bass are nice too, but they’re not the only fish in the sea. Nice video. Thanks
these Jon boat chronicles are the best lfg vlogs yet!!!!!
Zinc wheel weights from cars make good weights too. I save the lead wheel weights for casting bullets! Big blues I use a 6-8 inch live bait hooked thru the mouth on a decent sized hook(4/0) that is tied to the end of the line with a split shot about 3 feet up and 2-4 ounces(depends on current) of lead rigged slip sinker style(I use a snap on bell sinker with the plastic snap) above the split shot that acts as a stop to keep the bait from floating to high up. Chuck it out and wait. We usually fish this at night and listen to the radio. This is river bank fishing style but you could adapt it to jug fishing. Key is LIVE bait, it has to be moving. Blues are predators and mainly eat live bait.
Hey Justin you mentioned wanting comments on catfishing, so here it goes if you lip hook live bait or dorsal fin hook live bait on your lines you'll catch flat head instead of the bottom feeders blue's. Flat heads are brendel pattern and way better to eat because they only eat live stuff.
Nice tip brotha! Love catching/noodlin flatheads
Love the new boat ( dangle dingey )
Just got home from making a hunting vid to watch this.. man my day is made
LFG to 1 mil lets go!
A shallow wind blown flat is where your gonna find the blues, they school up nice this time of year. Also spend 30 to 45 minutes is a spot then move if it’s not producing fish. We dig your vids here in Oklahoma keep it LFG
Jon boat fishing is the best!
Love the jon boat jingles!!
Love watching your videos
That boat and those sunglasses scream nascar to me for some reason lol funny vlog brother keep it up 👍
This summer I sold my John boat with a 25hp motor. Your recent videos are making me miss it so much.
Love the boat, I have a 14 foot vhull with a 15 mercury on the back. And I have a 19 footer with a 150 mercury. I love boats. Post more videos like this one.
Never miss your awesome vídeos
Jonboat jingles!!! Need to make an album full! LFG rules!
That jingles classic yo! 😭😂😂😂
NIce Vid man!! Keep it up!
Maybe try some live perch for the blues and yellows.
Fishing the local river in Minnesota we use 6-8 inch creek chubs(interesting casting a 1 pound bait and 4 oz's of lead weights to hold it down) hooked through the snout. My best blue catfish so far is a 50 pounder.
Mary Brown yeah here in Texas I always do 2 hook lines top one gets a shiner hooked dead and the bottom hook a live perch hooked right under the top spines. Like you we find that the bigger the bait the bigger the fish too! Cheers and hope you beat that 50 pounder!
Nice Boat Enjoy Good Juggin!
I love the descriptive oowee goowee
My dad and his friend took me jug fishing in the summer at lake lewisville and we caught a 4 ft gar
Got to love that boat moter sound
Pull start is for the birds get a starter put on there. Love the vids much love from Missouri!
Haven't seen lunkers Jon boat video but this is the best one yet
If you throw the jug back in the water it helps with the mess and hooks out of the boat.
I use 2 liter pop bottles stuffed with styrofoam because you can tell if there’s a fish on. They don’t stay up.
Loved the Jon boat jingles lol
I put the hammer on them white bass every year.. 💜 catfish are fun as hell to catch! Just send a huge hunk of worm out into the depths .. or leave out shrimp for like 4 days🦐
Best part was the jon boat jingles! Lol
Hey LFG.. I still think you should name the boat "Catfish Hunter" after the fish they're chasing in grumpy old men!! one of the best fishing themed movies ever lol! PS catfish Hunter was a famous baseball player!
I love how he has to be clear about “one rod one reel” I even thought he had a guest 😂
The jingle was gold my friend hahaha
For big blues I use big shad, cut drum, and big bream.
Love big bream...especially in the river brotha!
That Jon boat jingle was fire 🔥
Funny, as soon as you mentioned the jugs I remembered that huge bass. Good times
Great video
We use beef hearts for blue cats jugging in South Louisiana . During hunting season duck hearts and guts are killer bait
Here in Kentucky, when I fish for blues, fish 20 to 30 feet of water. The fish will suspend about 1/2 way. Around 10 to 12 feet. I always fish out in open water. They do school where I fish. Taylorsville lake. Good luck!!!
Nice, I use bluegill for bait o cut shad , the lake that I go fishing I believe is one of the best for big cats.
I say ya call the Jon boat “The Money Shot” and I can show ya how to catch Blues up here in Missouri.
Drift that creek bed with cut fresh BIG pieces of shad using the Santee Cooper rig keeping the bait afloat and drifting the creek bed with ya!
One of my favorite blue catfish baits is shrimp. Just put it on a circle hook near the bottom and you will catch some.
Fishing on the Vine for kitties. YUM YUM YUM!!!
I fish for blue catfish a lot back here in Virginia. Big strips of fresh fish are probably my bait of choice. Most of the time I’m fishing brackish water so white perch is the most common forage for the blue cats. Any sort of drastic depth change and I’ll put a spread of around 4-8 rods out. Cool to see the ole jugs tho, keep up the bangers.🔥
Love the job boat vids!
Me and my dad always have gone and or his buddy will go with him and we have caught 4 over 60 pounds and quite a few 50 pounders in the Tchoutacabouffa in south Mississippi
Catfishin on the bottom, anchor down and toss a carolina rig with a circle hook with some shrimp!
First comment ever... the most fun I've ever had was in a jon boat. I actually inherited a 1985 17 ft duracraft w a 90 hp yammy on it. I've gotten it completely reworked and my brother and I use it for everything. If you're ever interested in frogging in lake Houston when the weather gets right, let me know! Proud supporter of "Make Every Cast Count". Cheers to good times!
Hey buddy if you catch some big shad and fish big chunks where big blue cats live, you're bound to catch em. Using appropriate gear will definitely help as well. As for finding em just look for bait they will follow shad schools. Obvious locations usually produce, sandbars and ledges are great, as are humps and points. Usually wind has a factor as well and keep your baits fresh! Tight lines and good dangles
RT moving up in the world, got himself a Jon boat. Those yellow sunglasses man making me think of good old RT.
Glad to hear your good news on the brain tumor. I have a nephew in Houston dealing with a stage-4 tumor on his brain stem and I can only continue to hope and pray that he has an optimistic outcome more like your progress appears. If you're looking to keep critters out of your house, Critter Control is the best outfit I've found, and they discovered more access points than I could ever imagined.
THE DANGLE DINGY! Great name
