@@roo2127 If Activision fires all the protesting employees (which is a third of their entire employee workforce), they'd have to hire new ones and get them up to speed on everything, which can cause major disruptions in their games' developments. And if these new employees start protesting due to the terrible workplace, then the cycle repeats. Not to mention Activision doing that will only get them even more bad PR than they already have, which will only make it worse for them.

It's more likely that they're evaluating their liquid assets and what loans they might need while eyeballing Activision-Blizzard so if they do go down they'll be in prime position to swoop in and buy up valuable IPs. @@roo2127 If Activision fires all the protesting employees (which is a third of their entire employee workforce), they'd have to hire new ones and get them up to speed on everything, which can cause major disruptions in their games' developments.
And if these new employees start protesting due to the terrible workplace, then the cycle repeats.

When I was in high school it was my dream to work at Blizzard as I was already living not too far from their Orange Country HQ in Southern California and taking game development courses through an amazing program with my high school. I was all set to apply to Blizzard but alas I went on a different path. Looking back now I'm so glad I never went down that road. A company I once looked at with admiration and goals of working for I now look at in utter disgust. Blizzard now stands for everything WRONG with the games industry.
