I like that he still gets pumped up about fishing even after all these years . That’s why he is so good at what he does he is truly passionate about bass fishing . Miss seeing him on the water .
Having competed against him for many years . He is an intense competitor, and during a tournament he has his foot on the gas all day . Few can match his energy . Although he was the enemy ,secretly , I am a huge fan of his. Don’t tell anyone . Shhhhhh! Kudos Bobby. You are still the man. Respect
Excellent interview, Steve. As you know, Bobby guided, tutored, mentored me many times over 6 years while he was still in California. I'm using his knowledge today fishing weekly and also passing some of it along to the next generation of bass fishermen as well. I am extremely fortunate to have some of his influence and knowledge to fish on the Delta where he did most of his fishing. When Bobby talks about bass fishing, you gotta listen.
That was epic Steve! Bobby’s the man! Delta legend! I wish Cooch was still around, he’d be a great interview. Thanks for bringing that to us! Another Masterclass. Cheers!
Wow gems of wisdom spilling out. Nice work giving him the floor and staying out of the way and letting him share his knowledge. You have become a master at getting the juice. Thanks to you both for the insights.
Bobby's definitely one of my fishing heroes. I have 2 of his rods which have helped me catch some monsters based on his approach to frogging. Great interview!
Gentlemen! Well done and much appreciated. Thank you both for taking time to share so many pieces of experience based wisdom. Very interesting and helpful, especially for those of us discovering bass fishing later in life. I will be a Centurion before I could gain the experience you’ve gained from dedication and time on the water, so again, thank you.
There is a lot to learn from this interview especially for a newbie angler like me. Thanks Steve another great content! I would love to see an on the water lesson from him.
Or Steve Sap that didn’t last long. Bobby was the king in the Delta with one Real exception. Bass master winner 3 years in a row. Robert Lee was like the Black Ghost In Detroit. If he was a car lol. Bobby is just a class act. Hands down
I agree with you that Robert was very good and never got the respect. His tournament record was hard to argue with. I don't know Robert but I hear he is a great guy.
Yea, never really thought about that till Bobby brought it up. Now I realize, it's not me, it's my friends. I erased all my friends numbers off my phone and now looking for better friends.
lol I sat and talked with him a few years ago at the fishing show in Long Beach. Bobby was pretty intense and a wealth of knowledge. His pointers have helped me be more successful on the water and I have to say thank you Bobby!

Sounds like you have been putting that knowledge to good use. I know that you already know how lucky you are to have fished with Bobby.

If I knew about 3/4 of what Bobby knows about the Delta I would be a happy man.
Thx Steve, great interview Bobby is the man! Love that guy. He’s such a blessing to so many. Great info .
Thanks for watching Robert.
GREAT VIDEO! Yep, I've had plenty of those on the back of the boat complaining, exactly how you explained.
I have always thought I would be a better fisherman if the guys I fish with were just a little better. I think I need better friends.

Thanks Scott-can't say it any better than you just did.
When I think of chasing Delta stripers on big top water baits, only one name comes to mind, the one who started it all, the legendary Bobby Barrack.
Awesome 🙏🏼
Bobbys the man.
There is a lot to learn from this interview especially for a newbie angler like me. Thanks Steve another great content! I would love to see an on the water lesson from him.
Yea. I would like to see Bobby have a information youtube channel.

Oh that guy in the back of the boat, been there too many times!! It's a real situation...
Yea, never really thought about that till Bobby brought it up. Now I realize, it's not me, it's my friends. I erased all my friends numbers off my phone and now looking for better friends.
🐐
GOAT!
Makes me think I was a day or 2 too late last time I went out. Not that I had a choice, have to get on the water when life allows
Yea, life is a hard thing to get around, even when you're retired.
Bobby full of energy, I’m about his age ,not Evan close to his level of energy,he go on on ,
Thanks for watching JPaul. Bobby is the man.
lol I sat and talked with him a few years ago at the fishing show in Long Beach. Bobby was pretty intense and a wealth of knowledge. His pointers have helped me be more successful on the water and I have to say thank you Bobby!
Bobby gets to excited makes it feel like it's all just fish tales
With the time he has spent on the water Bobby has thousands of tales-the difference with Bobby-most his tales are true.
Did he drink 2 pots of coffee before this interview 🤣
No, that's Bobby after about 10 hours of working the snageproof tournament.
I think that’s just every day Bobby! I wanted to hire him to guide when he was here but never could make it happen.
Steve talks oddly. Rig he says ryig. Fish he says fyish. What is this dialect??
I DIDNT LISTEN NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Thanks for the comment.
