That's just how it goes. Personally, I'm enjoying the fact that people are heavily underestimating her. The element of surprise has gone a long way in my League games lately.
I honestly love her when I picked her up I was doing very well but not winning because my team didn't know how to cope with her and I also messed up a bit. but now I am always doing good and I am hurting a lot early levels. also I think most people can't play her because she is a defensive mid laner like orianna or lulu mid.

Also the q deals a lot of unexpected damage eraly game, especially with thunderlords. She is difficult to master but she is insanely fun to play. When you get the rylais is when the game really gets fun. But most people dont know the strenghts of Taliyah until they play against her indeed :(

+Edward Chiongson 2 changes that I think could be good for her 1 make her W easier to use and faster (& maybe a small E nerf to keep it balanced ) because if you see an E get setup they will probably not go near it 2 let ally's pass through her R or let her ally's see the notification on the ground for the wall so they can prepare but the opponents can't
