Look At This: Signal Hill

ATop a hill and surrounded by the City of Long Beach, Signal Hill was incorporated nearly a century ago because oil was discovered in the area. Now, with most of the oil derricks gone the area has turned into a desirable place to live.

So they drilled all the oil out of that spot right!.. hmmmmm? Wouldn't that make it like easier for a sinkhole to appear especially if they're gonna build homes around a hollowed area?

Signal Hill actually became a city, because Los Angeles was heavily taxing oil and The people that owned this land did not want to pay the oil taxes, so they form their own city. To this day today, signal Hill does not have any oil taxes or gas taxes. That’s what I heard from history.
