Veterans lock in.
These dudes were such a huge part of my high school experience. The print they left on the culture is still seen. Damn shame how it all fell apart.
For i only knew wulf, curry, bones and asap mob. It was only when i graduated from highschool i heard about sgp. The dude was mad, genius. i wish i had heard about him from the beginning of high school instead asap mob.
I know Tuff And SGP Personally
He A Good Dude 💯
dawg 9:50 he left in the n
@@hittingdasauce I had to…I’m sorry but I had to do it…..if only there was another way but you know what they say……two plus two equals…DEEZ NUTS
Real ones know Rvidxr Klxn the real pioneers of SoundCloud rap
I think there one of the many things that promoted sc rap
U could also say it was 3 6 mafia
Seshollowaterboys came after. Which is kinda crazy
@@lilotaku3801 how?? Lmao
@@jabbomyth8735To be fair Three 6 Mafia was major influence on Raider Klan
Raider Klan is what got me into Underground rap the amount of doors this collective put me on to is absolutely amazing despite SGP being a weirdo they was way ahead of time
The time we had Raider Klan repping South, Odd Future repping West, and ASAP Mob repping the East all in the same era was soo dope 💯
There will never be another era in hiphop much like raider klan, odd future, and asap mob. So many great artists came from those groups: frank ocean, syd(the internet), Xavier wulf, bones(although he was doing his own thing too), Denzel curry, Tyler the creator, earl, eddy baker, and many mor. They spawned great mainstream artists and great underground artists that are still putting out good music till this day. Every year after the peak of these groups there has been nothing but copies of what these guys were doing. Truly a special time in underground hiphop tbh. I just wish SGP would be able to get his head right and become successful in his own right
Don’t forget beast coast and save money
@@noneofyourbusiness1114 true forgot about them, although they were more loosely affiliated and didn't release but one project together, and way too late after they established the movement. Not sure who save money is
@@understanding77 save money was chance the rapper and Vic mensas collective! Artist like no name, saba, smino, and Joey purp were affiliated .
the producers need major recognition for producing for raider klan too. mr. sisco, djkillac, dj smokey, so much more
I know Robb Banks not officially Raider Klan but you could’ve mentioned bro, he Lowkey got me onto all of them.
Facts
So true
Your editor showed a picture of Yaki Kadafi from 2pac’s Outlawz instead of Kadafi from Raider Klan.
I seen another youtuber make the same mistake lmao they be copy pasting videos about raider klan its been done a million times
because they don’t know shit about shit
More and likely they’re white.
Ruben Slikk is Criminally underrated. His tape Goony Tunez with DJ Smokey is still untouchable.
Their will never be another metro zu fr
Ruben slikk is insane
king astro slikk, astro travel, and kodeen mutantz are better tapes from him by FAR
I saw them 4x in concert. Each time was dope asf in my opinion. Ethelwulf. SGP. Yung Simmie. Amber London. Dirty red. And others were there. It was honestly some of the best times of my life if I think about it lol
The legendary Lil Ugly Mane came out of this movement too
Raider Klan is similar to Three 6 Mafia...it took a few years for their influence to really fully come to be...both groups came out of the underground and didn't become super popular but were inspiring for younger artists...
Nah three six mafia literally won an oscar that's peak mainstream success for any artist especially a rap group and even tho it was only few members left by then they were still very culturally relevant. In fact that's when they reached most of the popularity and success. Raider klan on the other hand died right before it could properly take off...three six mafia still produced popular radio singles while the group was decreasing its members . Raider Klan sadly fell off just as it was about to blow up.
Three six mafia was still underground in a way think about dj Paul and juicy j still worked with underground artist example SPG , SXHMPRA and Xavier wulf etc with dj Paul it’s seed of six and many others and they were still loyal to thier dark astetic style they just kept it lowkey because of the mainstream think about it !!! And gangsta boo was affliated with raider KLVN and Suicideboys
That's what I'm saying, Triple Six didn't become internationally mainstream, until about 2000 and speak a the devil, what if one of the BRK or BMB guys, got really popular all a sudden, it's possible there's potential
Lil Peep is Raider Klan adjacent
@@startervisions they were fs loyal to the underground style of their music fs
I remember discovering Denzel Curry first then finding out about RVDXR KLVN right after hearing Gold Teeth and a Glock.
Raider Klan is just artistically eternal
I mean, the whole collective is dead since soo many years, it's true
But just thinking only how many classics the members and affiliates released, they can't be forgotten
For instance, nowadays an affiliate like Ruben Slikk faces frequently legal problems and is a outcast, but its musical and stylistic iconicity can't be forgotten
They just marked totally 2010s underground hip hop scene and the whole general hip hop evolution
Even today, the influence returns in certain artists
The death is real but the raider's legacy surpass it
Great video, anyway
Speaking on slikk, that man is going through some shit. He was living out his car for like a year and he almost died from starvation or some shit in Miami. His music is still really fucking innovative and interesting, but he's been on a mental fall off for years now.
This video warms my heart, this is era . I didn’t make it anywhere as far as these guys. But got music with a lot of them. You kept it solid on his video. I’m from the Miami underground and I appreciate how you went in on this . And you right ASAP Mob did take raider klan style
Using Kadaffi from The Outlawz picture is wild as fuck
Yeah, not many people know this but, he "allegedly" committed suicide in Jersey after Pac died but rumor was he was shot and killed
@@fr1zlhe didn’t commit suicide. He was murdered. Look up the story.
@@muccigane2351 which is why it's so sketchy, cuz the police originally postulated he had.
@@fr1zl I don’t think you understand. It was confirmed as a murder. An execution to be exact.
@@muccigane2351 I was alive and speaking on newspaper reports. You think I don't understand, but I'm not disagreeing so I think it's you with the communication issue.
I’ll Neva forget Raider Klxn. And the Xxx and space ghost beef .. crazy all these kids found phonk cuz of tik tok I was on this wave since middle school ..
What’s nice is that most of the members still communicate with eachother and they still make music successfully.
Real ones know if this was decade ago, Raider Klan would be getting onto GTA 6's next miami radio wave.
Watching the beef unfold after seeing Spaceghost on the same show with Trash Talk, didnt realize how special that moment in music was at the time.
I still got the tank top merch from the Raider Klan show back at Slims in the early 10's.
Best rap group of all time 💯💯💯
You’ve gotta be one of their members to make a BOLD statement like that!!! lol they were dope, but best group ever cmon fam.
@MarkHallOfFame lol that is a bold statement but being the "best" is subjective 🤣
And in my humble opinion brk was stupid stacked , talent ontop of talent 👏
Raider klan really have they own sound, I’ve only heard similar with the new ken Carson and Yeat varieties I feel they have raider klan musical influence to an extent!
Raider klan sound is 3 6 mafia sounf
this was fire , luvd SGP and everything 2 do w em back in the day
Let's Go Been Waiting On This !!! 🔥🔥🔥
I think Raider Klan had the potential to grow but unfortunately that growth got siphoned and I think what was the biggest nail in the coffin was sgp instead of focusing on music and trying to build his brand he was too busy taking shots at other artists I get it it's a way to generate buzz and to get people talking but that's only for the short term in the music industry think about the long-term and that's whats sgp failed to do and because of that look where he at nowhere
Being from south Florida this was a very special time.
No raider klan no asap mob, xxxtentacion, ghostemane, ski mask the slump god, playboy Carti, lil uzi vert, etc!
man raider klan and sgp is a huge influence even in the underground still to this day. you got niggas like NetSpend out now who got influenced by the underground sigilcore genre which is influenced by raider klan.
Its crazy too, i was super huge fan from the early days back at the end of 2010...and i was so confused by the hieroglyphics but thats what made it alot more interesting...watching this just made my heart break...cus i used to have an old mac book with damn near every song and mixtape they released until it eventually stopped working... 😢
What yall know about Raiderklan???
rvidxr klvn will always be the GOATS 🔥
Yooo I was waiting for a video on this
In response towards the last thing you said in the video, I think that’s kinda what they wanted similar to three six mafias best works it’s hard to come across with all of it being ripped from cassette tapes I think their work being more obscure and hard to find was just kind of the wave
Can you make a video about Indigochildrick I think he’s seriously underrated and makes amazing music
Calling your self God is one way to get bad karma
still bump raider klan dailyyyy
Nell and key nyata were too underated. I would put wulf too but he got his flowers eventually.
yes! love this channel
Yung simmie and chris travis were my favorites
Should've mentioned the song Conscious Revolution with Bone thugs on it produced by purrp back in 2014.
Spaceghostpurpp is the pioneer of 2010’s hip hop no asap with out spaceghostpurp
Discovered raider klan in 2016 during my college years instantly fell in love with the sound. To this day one of my favorite collectives and got my respect. Sucks the music is so scarce cuz they got classic bangers. I definitely prefer this to odd future or asap by a big stretch. Blackland radio was the shit!
I know Matt, yes, they did jump him back in the day, but they were beefing before that.
Raider klan was a catalyst in changing the style of hip hop. I still listen to this style of music it's the best
still be bumping that g-phonk shi!
You should do a video on SHWB !!!
Mark Davis sued them. End of story.
Let’s go🔥🔥🔥
Rvidxr Klvn is one of the reasons that made me proud to be from Miami 🔥🌴
What is the name of the music at 13:20?
Its crazy how SGP destroyed his connections with his crew and every pther rapper
Spaceghostpurrp gunna diss you soon 😂
At 10:06, you show a picture of Yaki Kadafi. That was Tupac’s childhood friend and a member of the Outlawz. He was murdered a few months after 2pac died. You shared the incorrect image is what I’m basically.
Can you speak about SHWB next
I will say after Raider Klan came BMB (black money boys death row) not as influential but still quite revolutionary and another great era
Shoutout the godfather Purrp! Shoutout Fla BRK
dawg he accidnetally left the n in hahahah 9:50
Sick video
Damn yo, I miss these times.
They really needed just just a few more years to probably remembered like the rest of
Swear i started listening to freddie dredd then project pat and found space ghost purpp and BONES, then found jgrxxn and didnt even realise that they were all part of raider klan except dredd and pat obviously. Found raider klan and shit is soooo hard
Hip hop needs more collectives
They rarely work in the long run
@@user-my6vz6bd3q yup, I still think hip-hop needs more of em tho
Still listen to Metro Zu and SGP
RVIDXR KLVN HVD ME TYPING LIKX THIS IN HIGHSXHOOL..Good times.
You were easily influenced lol
@@REALTRUEJOURNEYprobably..it’s not that deep.
275 we up in this thang. 😊
13:13 well said bro
glad to c raider klan being brought up in 2024
I got a question...A$AP producers or BMB beat makers...who makes better instrumentals y'all?
if u comparing that 2012 a$ap sound to loko los and krxxk, id say its hard to compare. one thing ill say about loko los n krxxk, they took purrps sound to whole new level. their composition n their snares were game changing imo
@@lee_drifting I agree 100%
Green ova underground what an era
B.R.K 4L. 🖤
SpaceGhost literally killed his own movement
I mean we still hear world wide wide frfr I gotta admit the clan the mob and tha gang made most us 90s babies
Don't sleep on Yung Simmie. He's still active independently to this day.
Way better than other clout chasing rappers. Strictly 4 Rvidxr.
black ray the goat
And she's right Texas really is something else.
I remember
SGP goated
The best
Og rolecall
Yung Simmie was lit
Fun Fact: ASAP stole their sound and style and blew up.
cap asap better and different
@@kartikaychaudhary384 fun fact watch the video Spaceghostpurp produced Asap Rocky first song that blew him up.
man why not mention ethel wulf and chris travis being heavily assoacisted with purrp
Making this video n not mentioning Robb Bank$ once is kinda crazy even doh he wasn’t officially in it him n Purp made a lot of music and he was featured on Threats n was influential in XXX’s career
That’s the wrong Khadafi 🤦🏽♂️🤣 u got 2Pac’s man from the Outlaws . Man RIP Khadafi 💯
Thank you! I posted that comment myself. He probably won’t see it.
Soulja Boy really is the goat
🔥🔥🔥🔥👍🏾👍🏾
Damn bruh that’s all you had to say about key nyata?
He may have not been as controversial but he had most of the best lyrics coming out of his verses smh
Wu Tang Clan can only happen once I suppose…
*⚫THE BLVCC GOD⚫*
i love denzel and ugly mane
Yall gotta leave this old purrp alone he literally dropped a new mixtape last year December 23 and dropping a mixtape this year..
Fr bro his new sound is so different and better than the old stuff
Real Miami Shit ‼️‼️‼️
Its one thing recognizing klvn and speaking on the history but if you going to tell a story tell it RIGHT thats still my family at the end of the day some still rep it still.. get ya mind right playa 🎱
- 2.7.5 SG RILLA MANE
Bum bum bum
So annoying how x and ski got their mainstream flowers yet Denzel is barely getting his. Never understood the hype of ski and X.
never been a huge fan of ski, but x has such a diverse catalogue of music and so many different styles that you're bound to enjoy one of them
"Eazy-E from W.A."?😂
lmao are there any hip hop labels without a sad death
Raider klan n s few other Miami artist's. Kuz Xavier wulf literally took from Miami artist MYSTIX whi Purrp Produced for
Calling xxx a fan is crazy😂😂
It’s true, X lived with Denzel Curry and Kodak started fucking with X from all the fanfare he got from the former Raider Klan people (And X was from Broward County)
@@GDSprodify they dissed spaceghostpurpp together
