I'm very glad to find your UA-cam channel. Going through some what the same dilemma. Bought a 97 v6 5spd Camaro, dropped in 02 lq4 engine backed by a t56 transmission. Car drove for some years now, but always had issues with tuning the factory computer. This car needs to be a daily driver first and foremost and strip car second. Looking at the Holley terminator X, but need the obd2 connection for inspection. Their is a guy on UA-cam that has merged the Holley with the factory harness. So you the engine runs off the Terminator X and the factory gauges still work.
I've seen a few people merge the holley and the factory harness. If I needed to use it as a daily driver I would do that. I like the freedom of having it as a race car only, especially since I can go drive it hard at the track and if I break it, I can still get around for work and stuff. Sounds like an awesome swap! Thanks for watching!!
I haven't checked to see if you are still active or not, but I live really close to you and work in Frederick County. I hope all is well and would love to meet up if you still live in the area.
I'm still active but I moved about a year ago and am just north of gettysburg now. If you'd like to meet up I'll be at Fall Carlisle most of the day on October 5th
You should put these link's to the parts and stuff in the description. Trying to do the same build in a way and would be nice to have some stuff to go by.
But it will power stuff such as headlights taillights etc.?? I had the same question I know the Holley handles the motor but I was confused as to what to do with the bcm harness
Ahhhh, cliffhanger! LOL. Nice to see your excitement back again for the project Jason!
Yeah, wanted to get it all in one video but it was just gonna be too long. Working on the second half now!! It's good to be excited about it again!!

Thank you for the reminder! Added all the links to the parts in the video description. I usually try to do that but forget sometimes.
@@MohawkMotors I understand, I would probably forget my self
It's funny!!! We are grown ass men and we LOVE our stickers!!!! ROFLMFAO!!!!
It's all for the stickers!!
Are you using the stock body control module?
Yes still has the stock body control module. But it has limited function since it can't see the pcm.
But it will power stuff such as headlights taillights etc.?? I had the same question I know the Holley handles the motor but I was confused as to what to do with the bcm harness
Im late to the party, but did you run the holley as a stand alone?
yes
@@MohawkMotors how did you tie it in to the factory wiring? Did you just cut the wires on the harness to ground?
I just followed the instructions and used the holley handheld screen for a dash
@@MohawkMotors did you tie into the factory wiring for the fans? And the fuel pump?
yes
