    He's still as explosive as Westbrook, he's just being careful, he had injuries because he was going too hard. And we all know Rose has higher basketball IQ and knows how to use his explosiveness better than anyone

      yeah he could have up to 15 more years ahead of him. If he is smart and really takes the time too recover now, he will have a bright future ahead of him still. He may even win a ring or two. The Bulls were scaring the Heat in the past in the playoffs after all. :)

    • @supimjocktopus
      @supimjocktopus 9 років тому +2

      XxLiveFromTheGrave just saw this comment and rose finished his first full season back tonight and he played an absolutely phenomenal season and really showed that he's still MVP caliber even with all the help he has on his team now. He doesn't need to score all the time since he has Jimmy and Pau, but he has adapted so well and his explosiveness is still there. People kept sleeping and giving up on him, but they don't know anything

    What was the bulls thinking ending the rose Butler era

    • @Bairom06
      @Bairom06 3 роки тому

      Delusional gar foreman wanted hoibergs system to work. He thought that rose and butler would never work in a spaced out offense. And often times the media also gaslighted the fans into believing they had beef. Paxson then was the one who moved forward with shipping drose out first. I do think with a good gm, despite the injuries. The rose butler era to this day probably still makes a finals or two. Especially when Lebron left the east.

    The only way you win in this league is the way the spurs play basketball help defense and ball movement; including having a balanced offense where everybody contributes on offense. You don't win by playing Derrick Rose isolation basketball. You blow out teams by having multiple scorers (including bench) on the team. Learn that Bulls fans!

    • @iafigueroa91
      @iafigueroa91 10 років тому

      But these guys are past their primes, the way they spread that ball around and not let the ball stick to one player which makes a player go iso. The way they passed the ball around kept the Heat defense on its heels. More ball movement= high percentage and open shots and creates more spacing to get a great shot or creates more lanes for players to attack the basket. It forces the opponent to double team the ball handler and leave someone open. That is championship basketball. Good execution and communication on defense helps force turnovers and create fast breaks. Iso Derrick Rose basketball is what defenses want you to do. They can either clog up the paint and make force shots that way.

      it was in portland....and that can be understandable...adrenaline mixed with mild rust mixed with over doing it...can lead to over exertion..but even when he was making buckets in the preseason...other teams were hold back..to reserve strength...then..when the reason season came...his mechanics werent ready for that hard of pressure...thats what i dont like about the preseason..but anyway..he was shooting with his arms..when he used to shoot with his wrists..by the portland game..his instinct was coming back..the knicks game on halloween..his AAU side came out to make up for what his discipline lacked...was his AAU games...when he came back..he was playing like that after the pre season...wild..but good..

    All the athletic point guards need to stop being so reckless and in my opinion, I think if rose westbrook and all the other explosive pgs play like parker Paul and rondo they will get some more wins for their teams

    • @Jmoneybag91
      @Jmoneybag91 10 років тому +3

      Parker plays exactly like Rose and West just without the athleticism Paul has never done anything in this league and Rondo tore his ACL to and he is a true PG

      get more wins for there teams eh? because 60+ is just to little. all though i do agree rose should pass more and contribute to his team to make others better.

      Tboy Hutcherson You mean Westbrook? the difference between the two is Rose actually passes the ball even to brick shooters

    • @sosavage8507
      @sosavage8507 10 років тому

      Frank Lucas U obviously dont watch the Thunder play man Westbrook does pass its just the thunders system of "O here KD heres the ball and then Russ heres the ball" n they need their bench players to step up but Russ is not a selfish player

    Derrick rose is gonna have to change his play style to b more like Chris Paul. Instead of using his athleticism to score and set people up, he can use his ball handling skills. Guy is a great player But he can't keep playing the way he does if he wants to stay in the NBA
