Difference between him and other super athletes has to be core strength. Look how he twists and moves his body every play.

D rose was the most entertaining player. I mean he's not the best dunker but his circus shots and speed is just amazing. He may not have the best jump shot but still one of the top pg and if melo goes to the bulls this summer I think we have a championship team

Not just his speed but is body control when hes at those speeds, the fluidity of his movements and how his supreme confidence never looks rushed or uncomfortable in the lane

Jung Carlson with more hands in the air then there are weekdays in the lane he still manages to finish strong and precise truly an epic piece of basketball iq in a 26 year old born baller

His legs. They were so...bouncy. Humans beings are not supposed to frog like that, probably explained why no one could stay in front of him and why he sadly got hurt. The things he's able to do are too much for his own body.

THat's what separates Rose from MJ, MJ had injuries too, but he fought back against it, against retirement, family issues, loss of dad and still became the greatest.... If only an injury would stop rose then he will just be among those who wasn't able to overcome injuries.... only at that... The doctors cleared him to play again but he decided not to, so probably he scared of the pain now... some players experience that.. saying it again, that's what separates him from MJ...

Derrick rose is filthy. To all of those KD fans, Lebron fans, and Wayne fans, Rose is the best of this generation of NBA. He proved his capabilities, and as you can see, Lebron and Wayne were at their peaks during his peak, and what happened? Look closely and you'll see they couldn't stop him, or they were shaking their heads. So yeah, get off his back, cause he did what he needed to make himself known, and that was give EVERY game his best. Keep ya head up Rose, cause you made yourself known PERIOD.

    • @austinmefi7438

Don't get me wrong, I watch all of these players, and applaud them all. But, as in people getting on Rose?! Open your eyes, and appreciate how he made your favorite players try harder into becoming who they are now, by bringing "speed", and "explosive" moves into their learning experience as professional basketball players.

1.Derrick rose ( when healthy and the only m.v.p p.g in this lineup. Quit the negative comments n d.rose dis d.rose dat BS .He less talk .. More play . #kingofpointguardswillrise
2.Chris Paul ( just a natural born leader I believe he can play in any generation of point guards )
3.Rajon rondo ( easily the most fearless in this lineup an nba champion & walking triple double )
4.Russell Westbrook ( he would be higher without Kevin Durant . All aside he is the most ferocious and competitive n this lineup . And his energy is unknown )
5.Tony Parker ( San Antonio spurs , Tim Duncan , Gregg popovich , quick and sometimes quite ungaurdable )
6.Steph curry ( the new mr.Cluuuuuuuuutch . He shoots he scores and scores and scores )
7.Kyrie Irving ( u have lebron bro . the Most dangerous ball handler. Proven winner . All star m.v.p . Fiba m.v.p and champion)
8.Damian lillard ( the future m.v.p ...personal thought)
9.John wall ( I just like where Washington is headed . He will b the main piece to guide them )
    10. Tie between
Goran Dragic (Phoenix will shine )
Jrue holiday (thank you Anthony Davis )
    Honorable mentions :
    Kemba walker
    Patrick Beverly
    Eric Bledsoe
    Michael carter Williams
    Aaaannnddd ........ Ty Lawson
    U CAN DO IT !!! List :
    Ricky Rubio

Although the injuries have been unfortunate, I have not seen a player alive with more pure speed+aestheticism+talent than this guy. Lebron has incredible talent, and I think he is the best player in the league, no question. I have been fortunate enough to see them both live on several occasions, and there is just something about Rose. He just plays the game in a special way. I hope he has a fruitful and healthy career. He is a great player and a great young man, who came from less than ideal beginnings. I wish him nothing but the best.

carbon273 derrick rose avged 7.7 assist nearly 8 his mvp season. dropping 25 points a game and carrying the offensive load for the bulls. he had one good shooter kyle korver…keith brogans was our starting sg and ronnie brewer came in after him…give us a durant or a melo or some great low post presence and he can easily avg 10 assist. gtfo outta her wit that statistical bullshit drose can can will and is going to dominate any pg that guards him…past and present he's to fast to big and to strong but you know what tho he's back so il let him do the talking with his game!!!!!

Ok folks, quick consensus: What will it take for Chicago to realize that DRose is a tumor:
    a)Breaks another bone
b)Comes back in time to go to another team (obviously Lakers)
c)Makes more commercials hyping up his second return (which is funny because that's kinda jesus like)
d)Says something really stupid: "I will return when I'm mentally/personally/psychologically/metaphysically ready!"
Come on folks, take your pick, I know you've run out of videos of his past to watch!

ZachiroEnigma0 Obviously I'm a hater, NOW. What are you stupid? I was paying good money to that boy, until he started lying...I don't like liars, so I hate on his lying ass. But I wouldn't be talking about my momma if i were you...because right now, even she can run down a court better than DRose.

Coming from a Knicks fan, I miss Rose playing so much man. KD took off these past few years, but at one point Rose was CLEARLY the second best player in the league. He did more with less. He went to the ECF, and carried that team himself offensively. This is before Noah emerged as the player he is now. And his second option was an inconsistent Boozer. KD went to the WCF, but with Harden and Westbrook. KD is clearly the second best player in the league now, and imo the most unguardable player in the league. But a couple of years ago Rose was on a rise, and had he not gotten injured so much, would have been the best player in the league by maybe 2017. ( love Lebron, but I think he's gonna fade a lot when his athleticism does, jumper improved but its not like Melo's or KD's. Still good though)

I think he was the most explosive player in the league. And from what im hearing at team USA camp, This is gonna be the year the comeback takes people by storm.

Haha really!? So when he comes back like a MVP you're going to be right back on his nutts huh?
Lebron was called overrated for almost 10 years now he's the best huh
When Jordan broke his leg 1 year in the NBA & took 7 years to win a ring he was overrated huh
They said Kobe couldn't win a ring without Shaq & was overrated for 7 years until he won again huh
People so quick to judge it's funny
Opinions are like ass holes everybody has one :)

this guy has some serious heart his style is a mix of old school and new school combined with rocket quickness. Yes he's talented but most of all you can tell he has put some serious time in the gym practicing. He slashes thru the defense like he's stooping time.. just sick.

D-Rose is absolutely stellar, easily one of my favorite players from today's generation of NBA ballers. It's just sad how he's been injured twice IN A ROW, but with his speed and maneuvers on the court, I guess it's no surprise. I hope the guy can catch a break though. I'd love to see him making the highlight reels again.

9:48 same exact move on the buzzer beater like his game winning buzzer beater vs the bucks when Jennings was sticking him.
I also noticed he hit a game winner vs the knicks earlier this year(floater, not at the buzzer.)
On all there occasions...in the placket uniform.
    Maybe it's the black. Lol.
