    As a life long Bulls fan growing up watching Jordan, D-Rose brought an excitement back to the Bulls that I only felt back when Jordan was playing. his MVP season was magical and with the team they had, it was only inevitable before they made a trip to the finals. His injury is the most difficult sports related injury I've ever had to deal with as a fan. D-Rose, Jimmy Butler, Joakim Noah, and Pau Gasol was a sick ass team but unfortunately Rose wasn't the same. Had Rose stayed healthy that group of players are easily contending for a title, and even when Noah and Gasol fell off, he and Jimmy would have made such a great duo and would have been so young that they would have had many chances to win championships.
    Had Rose stayed healthy and won championships, he would be talked about in the same breath as Steph Curry and Isiah Thomas. Basically, he would have been arguably the 2nd greatest point guard ever behind Magic. We never even go to see this mans prime.

    • @Cameron_Caron
      @Cameron_Caron 2 роки тому

      Even a healthy Rose wouldn't be ahead of Magic or Curry but yeah he'd probably be #3 or #4 all time at the point guard spot behind Curry and Magi, maybe he passed Isiah. As for Oscar I don't really even want to hear about him, I've got just 2 words for him, Plumber Era. Tired of hearing about overrated old timer players from the 1950s-1060s plumber era. That era is just horrendous to watch. Absolutely horrendous skill wise. I can't even sit through a whole game..it's like watching grown men with junior high level skills play basketball lol.

      Nets 4life you’re dumb. He would’ve been better than Bron now. Bron was in his absolute prime on the heat and Rose was only 22 and battled them in the ECF. Rose was rapidly getting better and LeBron believe it or not is declining. Rose would’ve taken over the league and any PG was gonna get demolished by a healthy 28-29 yr old Rose. He literally got stronger every year

      @@DaGr8Depression It's not dumb it's called an opinion. LeBron went to the finals at 22 so what's your point. Being good at a young age does not guarantee rings. His athleticism didn’t even peak, and he was STILL the most athletic player in the league hands down. Him and LeBron were head above the rest. They were worn out of every game in the first roundd being a battle. D rose, if he never got hurt, he would've been on lebron and kd's level of being the best players in the league. As someone who's been watching the NBA for almost 3 decades, I've never seen a player with the entire package like D rose. Hakeen, Bird, Hardaway, Pippen, Malone, you name it - didn't have it all like D Rose had it. D Rose wasn't even in his prime yet and he was absolutely schooling the vets during these times (08'-11'), even Jordan wasn't schooling the vets during his time. The day he tore his ACL the 1st time, I knew it was over - I saw that happen live and it shattered my heart. The 09'-11' Buills squad would've won at least 7 championships, EASILY. Also, he would've EASILY surpassed Kobe's and even Jordan's accolades had he not gotten injured. He was on pace to be greatest of all time. You can go ahead and destroy me in the comments about that one, I don't care. The basketball Gods robbed the man of having the best career in NBA history. What a shame.

    • @nonequivalence1864
      @nonequivalence1864 2 роки тому

      @@manuginobilisbaldspot424 Who cares about how much he averaged his rookie year? I'm talking about his overall skill which was WAY better than Jordan and Kobe and any other "greats" you routinely hear about. Jordan wasn't as explosive as Rose. He would've been WAY better than Jordan if injuries didn't mess him up. That bulls team would've dominated the 2010s had he not tore his ACL the first time. What do you mean "had a history of choking"? When he tore his ACL the first time, he'd only been in the league in for 3 years. Who knows how great he would've been.
      Also, yes they were going to beat Bron and the Heat but he still kinda new in the NBA. He scored 28 pts during game 1 of the ECF against them and made Lebron and the Heat look STUPID. Even though they lost that series, that was a preview of what was to come. To say he's a "choker" is flat out wrong and ignorant. This guy would've been the face of the NBA had he not been injured.
