I liked that Sub too so it was pretty sad, Recall’s was too long and Vaseline’s wasn’t super special since he wasn’t super important after season 2 ended.
I knew about the deaths but they still hit so hard especially Hallams because he’d been around for so long and they dedicated an entire episode to the fallout and even now that I’m near the end of series 9 it still runs deeper than Vaselines because of and inspite of the latter seasons usually having worse than writing, they managed to improve, they put him in the situation one episode, kill him the next and the third is the funeral it’s not all rushed out into one episode and it chokes you up
I watched the 3 episodes about their deaths. I remember years ago how I waited for Series 14 to appear on UA-cam and... well I knew just how sad I would be about Recall dying. In short, these songs still put me in tears, especially in this order: 1. Stuart Recall Mackenzie 2. Roland Vaseline Cartwright 3. John Hallam
Series 14's soundtrack was pretty bad from the get go when they got rid of Warren Bennett but this funeral theme was easily the only good piece in said seasons soundtrack. I have another video with more emotional themes from London's Burning here ua-cam.com/video/Wd8Atakl7rM/v-deo.html
Malcolm and Geoff both felt so guilty of their crewmates' deaths. Sadly, Recall had no one to be blamed upon but that is good, because he died with his brothers at Blackwall Fire Station
Recall death was pointless, same with SIck Notes death, it was just poor writing to kill them off, there deaths were barely touched upon and brushed aside.
Unfortunately yeah, James H did die in real life, but his character, Mike “Bayleaf” Wilson had a proper send off of retirement to run a restaurant, I think it was both lovely and ironic that his end to the Brigade was the restaurant business instead
Yep old news. He died at the end of London's Burning. But this is characters funerals. Not real cast members. Cause James would gad been the cast member to sadly past away.
Thanks for uploading these videos man!
The John Hallam theme is the saddest one for me.

@@BlueTGM40 Vaseline just sounded like the normal theme. Recalls song just sucked!

Firefighter death are very very rare thank God. In my 40 year career I had 2 services to attend only

Mick was blamed by sally
@@rhysrobertstransportationa1668 it’s been a while, thanks for a clear up that Sal blamed Mick for Recall’s death

@Stefano Pavone Indeed, one of the top characters we can name for sure, and for one loved too.
