      Haha - thanks man! The trick really lies in the bend of the hook and the extra time used on the head.. :-)

    Very nice shrimp fly and a really nice detail with the UV resin at the end. Well done. Can't wait to tie a couple of these bad boys :-)

      Kim Albrecht Thank you! It just makes it super easy to make a Nice looking shrimpfly i Think.. especially when you let the fly hang in the water a bit.. that’s when it really shines.. 😉

      Andreas Haase veevus 30D in either Black or White is what i prefer 90% of the time.. 👍🏻

      Drowning Feather Flies you Can pull the veevus straight through 2 strands of leadwire with no problems.. 👍🏻

    Nice pattern my friend, I will have to order some of those shrimp backs, makes a big difference. Didn't know you had an Instagram page, just followed you on Instagram, great pictures of flies, my flies are not half as good as your ones but hopefully some day ill be able to tie half as good #madjohn_flies. Tight lines my friend
