- This is the second of many chapters of the restoration of our XW Falcon. In this session, we begin to strip the car down and remove the power train. A decision is made on the choice of engine as well.
Dear Peter, One of my umpteen cars was an XR 500 6 cylinder Cruisomatic sedan, which I bought for peanuts in the mid '80's. I just loved it with it's glamorous white steering wheel with chrome horn ring, tons of space and huge thick doors. I don't need to own all my old car cars now, even though I miss all of them dreadfully, I just have to watch your continuing adventures. Cheers, Pauline Hunter

Don't stress about the noise. My 221 that I took out of mine was, by newer motor standards, as noisy. I got told by the local Ford authorities that the valvetrain was the cause. Nothing to be concerned about though.

You done excellent job on your XW Restoration followed all video parts i have a XY Fairmont same colour interior with column shift but would like to change toT-BAR do you have any ideas about the change.
