Nice powerplant. 340hp should be a nice number for an everyday driver. I am digging the simplistic 5 star wheels. The red on this one looks tasty. Pricey SUV but it is a Porsche after all. I personally like the Audi Q8 Prestige for this kind of money. Thanks for another sweet review Joe. ☮️👍

Same here, but somehow now i related to lifestyle beacuse the more you earn you start looking other places. ...maybe. Back in the days i used to think the classic "if i had that kind of money i ve would buy another thing" but today nearly having that kind of money for a entry level Posrche, now i liking them more and dreaming with it. =D
Fun SUV, very nice for sure! The biggest downers is how fast they depreciate in value and how overpriced they are against competitors like BMW X5 or Audi Q8

I like the fact that the digital gauge cluster is shaped like normal cars. So many cars now seems to just stick long rectangular dashboards. where is the flat bottom steering wheel!

Haven't seen the review but of course it is better than the Q8. Its different level. Audi, BMW and Mercedes compete against each other. Porsche its above all of them, also in pricing (by a lot).

lovely video Joe.. I just wanna say that the instrument cluster is so weird, why would they do that to a Cayenne !? I'm an old school guy, I think that the curved thing over the gauges is the beauty of every dashboard. I don't understand why they took it off, whyyy😭
Its always funny when u see all the average joes expecting a PORSCHE to be inexpensive. Thats like saying wow why cant my mediocre job let me afford a ferrari. So overpriced.
My biggest thing about the redesign is that they removed the physical turn key knob and the physical tachometer.

I have great respect for the Porsche name and history. So go ahead and laugh, but my new 3lt Camaro is built well, has 90% of these amenities, and what the Porsche has that the 3lt doesn't have is minor. Plus, I've got the naturally aspirated, bulletproof pushrod V6 that even beats the Porsche in mpgs. I am not bragging. I just had no idea until this review that my 3lt would compare so well!

Porsche nickels and dimes you on your build. It may be the pinnacle but a fully loaded BMW or Range Rover is better value for the money.

I test drove it and honestly i am disappointed, I think the q8 has better interior, more comfortable. The seats in the Cayenne is very stiff and not comfortable, and the one i test drove was equippedwith comfortable seats !!! . The power is ok but not exciting. I used to have bmw f16 and it was more fun to drive.
Don’t want 22” wheels and I don’t understand the trend of putting a plastic lid over the engine.
Undoubtedly superior when compared to a Q8. Only car that can compare in the segment is a Range Rover Sport.

@@RaitisRides Actually, I'm good on the Cayenne. I'll just take the new Macan. I'm sure Porsche will get there with the Cayenne one day. It seems they are slowly upgrading all of their vehicles. The new Porsche 911 couldn't quite take the full dive though, apparently. Shame.

You can open the sunroof in the standard SUV just not the coupe
Give me a Genesis GV70: same 0-60 for 1/2 the price
The GV70 is a much smaller car though. Weights about 4300 lbs. The base Cayenne weighs almost 5000 lbs
U people and 0-60 times thinking that that's all that a price of a car represents. Ur driving an old man non head turning gensis that had to do cost cutting exercises everywhere.. comparing to a high end luxury brand like Porsche.
Honestly, for the brand name, and the price tag, the seats looks really drabby. Even the Lexus seats look way better. The interior looks very subdued and not the classy look it should be.

This is a great looking Porsche, but 348😅hp @ $113,000 doesn't add up! Acura MDX TypeS 350hp $72,000 BMW X5 40i 375hp @ $65,000.etc....
You can get a base Cayenne for whole a lot less less than $113K if you go easy on the options

We all love metrics so here we go ... "figures don't lie but liars figure" which we've all heard before ...
From the $/HP metric the Cayenne is $113000/340 = $332 / HP ... the Trailsport Pilot is $52000/285 = $182/HP
$332/$182 = 1.82 ... 1.82 * 52000 = $94600 (equivalent Pilot $$$) which is less than $113000 indicating folks are paying a premium for the privilege...or stated more bluntly .. folks are paying a ton a dough for only 340HP and a premium for "Porsche" ... my money is on the Pilot ... the $61K delta would buy a bunch of baubles/trinkets for the wifey ..."happy wife happy life" which we've all heard before

Not the sport exhaust just the tips. It sounds much better with the sport exhaust. Even better if you got the V8

0 to 60 in 4.7 sec is pretty good IMO. Don’t forget that thing weighs almost 5000 lbs

@@user-gs2ih7bb2b I think 350hp for a 5000 lbs SUV is more than adequate for the daily drive. And it has enough torque to comfortably pull a 7700 lbs trailer. If you want more power, you can always get the S, the GTS or the Turbo GT variant for spirited driving
