Theres a big push from POD UA-camrs pushing people to stay in a niche. Etsy is a marketplace. POD caters to one time buyers mostly. Staying in a niche limits yourself while leaving competition for everyone else.
Actually, most buyers like to revisit shops they've purchased from previously and the most active buyers on Etsy are even more likely to rebuy from the same shop
@@brandcreators I appreciate the response but am not sure that's true. I'd like to see your sources on that. That definitely does not fit how I personally shop on Etsy. I know I am only one person but other Etsy UA-camrs have said the same. Only certain UA-camrs who seem to all post similar content seem to be pushing this narrative.
@@laurenhall8392 well we do have data after surveying hundreds of Etsy buyers and the number was 85% visit a shop and repeat buy. But to each it’s own 😀
@@brandcreators there are a lot of different variables I'd like to see such as whay types of items are they buying. Were these hundreds of customers narrowed down to POD purchasers only?
Quick question, say you’re selling 2 products in 1 like baby and mama shirt, would you be manually inputting the orders into printify with each sale as its 2 different products ? Thanks 😊
Hey Scott, how do you manage to finance huge orders at first when you don't have much cashflow... Savings? Credit cards? No one talks about that here on UA-cam. As a freelancer and now Etsy seller who doesn't have a regular salary from an employer it seems that no bank wants to approve me for a credit card. For business credit cards you need to make at least 75K or so, which I am far away from. Appreciate your thoughts.
why put effort and time in building an Etsy shop if they can permanently ban you for no reason? As happened with me. I havent violated any policies and the only reason why they might have banned me, I explained it to them. But no ... permanent ban for no reason at all.
3 weeks later ... : "After reviewing your account, we determined it was suspended in error. Occasionally, accounts that are operating within Etsy’s policies mistakenly get caught up within the systems we have in place to protect the safety and security of the marketplace."

be careful with "mama" stuff...many sayings have a copyright/trademarks

Can you change the name for example to "hokus fokus" and avoid the copyright trademark?
