you are literally that one isle player i would love to encounter. i wish more people played like you!! i try to be as honourable as i can in my games... it doesn't always end well and i get taken advantage of for that a lot but if it makes someone's day better and their experience nicer (which is what your kind of player does for me), then i can handle a few bad eggs. thank you for being the NICE isle player!!

Yeah, a lot of people play the herbis on this game to KOS. They’re honestly one of the best choices to do so, as they’re strong and usually fast in order to defend themselves. However, most herbi players don’t use it to defend, but instead to, like I said, KOS. It’s a shame, because I don’t think the herbis should be made weaker, they should definitely be formidable foes, but unless you’re on a server with rules (usually with further rules that make some things somewhat annoying) then that’s all they’re going to do.
Not gonna lie I loved that omni 1v1 you had, kinda one of the things I like about global chat not being a thing, it kinda feels like you’re encouraging a dog to do something sometimes lol not fighting a player, which honestly feels better because it allows for more interesting interactions, especially how that guy 100% didnt want to fight you, almost like a real animal trying to not die (death irl = well, dead, no respawn button lol), but then got the courage to fight, and then being spared and even some food shared 🤣 your videos for some reason always have some sort of interesting / feel good moment, great video!
I'd still like to see it have a better slide so its movements are less predictable, but the venom duration change was a huge leap in the right direction!

Nice! I played carno yesterday to 55% before dying to dilo caused bleed. I had 860kg and a bite force of 80 so I thought I could take the 100% dilo in a 1v1. I ambushed hit and got 1 body charge in. I think I hit the dilo 5 times although it could be more.
@@dinometta I also had more issues with how tanky dilo is less that the hallucinations and bite damage even in the jungle road (where most of the battle took place).

I took my current Deino back, up to the reservoir above the southwest river, where that bridge is... at like 50% . a carno pack chased a stego right into the water, as it swam out , the biggest carno too a drink. I grabbed him, put him at the bottom under the steg and then bite them both..... and then the server crashed as I took my first bite...... Killing me aggressively and softly this bloody Isle. It takes so much for me to log in and stay calm... :_(
can we open a Dm of sorts. I now have videos saved and the story continues. MY River is looking like mine again. I have proof of 3 dead competitors and a 4th on the run ( literally sleep logged just as I closed for the kill. I watched him /her disappear in front of me.) I know there are safe ways to share files. I'm not super tech savvy but if you are interested, I could figure it out if you told me how to send the recordings.

I like when Isle players respect each other. I'm trying to continue to be that way, because it feels good knowing I avoided something to make me look like an ass, but sometimes it gets really hard. I've been in so many fights in south plains where all of a sudden the enemy stops moving completely and I know they had a fatal error, so I will stop attacking. If I'm hungry I'll wait for them to come back and start moving before I give a 3 call to let them know the fight is back on. If I'm not hungry, I consider it a win and move on. I just wish that mutual respect was shown, but I have logged back in to the dino select screen literally every time. The same with the Teno you ran across. I will bite them once or twice, if they don't move, I assume they crashed. I also avoid killing babies unless they attack me first. But even so, I will sit there itching to kill the player, fighting myself in my head because one part of me wants to kill the player in spite of all the ones who never spare me, but then reason with myself that I have no idea who this player is and won't understand that I killed them for that reason, thus continuing the cycle and adding people into this toxic communities roster. I know me being respectful only hurts me and won't change how anyone else plays the game, but I can always hope it'll have a big enough impact that others will see not everyone is a jerk and they don't have to be one either. People can say "Its just a game" but its frustrating to spend hours on anything just for someone to take advantage of the fact the Isle devs suck at making servers run decent and kill me anyway.

This /includes/ water tables that extend under the ground under the map right now, ergo using them in swamp and while we were standing around the river doesn't work. The copies don't spawn no matter how much I laugh. (If you watch carefully after he turns purple when I do laugh, he never takes a hit ) 2. The copies are too strong. They can't be hit once they start moving without the target taking damage from them and the venom at the time lasted a stupid OP amount of time. Ultimately, I fight with bites because it's more challenging and therefore more fun for me. I don't want to simply press right click while standing 50 yards away to win.
Hard agree. Dondi mentioned plans to deal with the current hot spot in his recent stream. Hopefully we'll get a patch this week that makes those changes

The fresh spawn?? I don't kill fresh spawns unless I'm starving (or unless I'm herrerra). Pointless killing of literal babies is just..... Lame. They can't fight back, I'm not hungry, and therefore it's a cheap kill. I'd rather let them grow up so I can fight them properly later

That stego had a good amount of health left when he first laid down. Had he been careful and positioned himself properly, he could have survived. I was severely injured after that first tail swing, enough bites or a single swing to even my tail tip would have finished me off. So I made him get up and fight back rather than cheapening the kill by simply biting him to death when he gave up. (Tldr; because I do what I want that feels like the most fun/ challenging for me) 😂
Absolutely! I haven't had a good jumpscare in weeks The deinos are all in NE lake. The carnos are nowhere to be seen. Even the ceratos haven't come at me lately. It's sad, because that adrenaline rush is what has always sold me on the game :/
@@dinometta spiro was better, there wasn’t really a hotspot, and there was always someone somewhere around the map, the devs screwed it up more by making the AI spawn in hight population zones, when they should’ve made them spawn when less people are around

@@RandomMackem0069_Official I mean, I survived just fine on AI while wandering the map as normal. It just got really old really fast because that was all I saw. Boars, deer, goats, and frogs. For hours at a time. What's not shown in this video are the literal 6 hour stretches where the only player I saw was a fresh spawned raptor or a dead herrerra. Until something is done about the hotspots, herbivore life will continue to be horribly dull(as no carnivores even bother to hunt anymore so it's just existing in migration zones unchallenged forever, hence why even the active migration zones feel dead, no one is bothering to play herbivores if they're stuck just barely existing), and carnivore life outside the hotspots will continue to feel unbearably drab.

Yeah, it didn't used to feel so lonely. Ever since Christmas though, the hotspots have become really bad and the map feels like a barren wasteland

Absolutely! I haven't had a good jumpscare in weeks The deinos are all in NE lake. The carnos are nowhere to be seen. Even the ceratos haven't come at me lately.
It's sad, because that adrenaline rush is what has always sold me on the game :/
@@dinometta spiro was better, there wasn’t really a hotspot, and there was always someone somewhere around the map, the devs screwed it up more by making the AI spawn in hight population zones, when they should’ve made them spawn when less people are around
@@RandomMackem0069_Official Yeah, the AI change really destroyed what life there was on Gateway. I disagreed with the change immediately when it was implemented in the stress test and I still disagree with it

@@RandomMackem0069_Official I mean, I survived just fine on AI while wandering the map as normal. It just got really old really fast because that was all I saw. Boars, deer, goats, and frogs. For hours at a time.
What's not shown in this video are the literal 6 hour stretches where the only player I saw was a fresh spawned raptor or a dead herrerra.
Until something is done about the hotspots, herbivore life will continue to be horribly dull(as no carnivores even bother to hunt anymore so it's just existing in migration zones unchallenged forever, hence why even the active migration zones feel dead, no one is bothering to play herbivores if they're stuck just barely existing), and carnivore life outside the hotspots will continue to feel unbearably drab.

Yeah, UA-cam hardcore suppressed the video. Like less than half as many impressions(how often it shows it to people as an option to watch) as my others. So I changed it
