Thanks for uploading this. I'm a bit tall for my Xiaomi Essential and couldn't work out how to loosen the bar to rotate it so that the brake lever faces down more. It can't be rotated on the bar due to there being a groove in the bar for the wiring. Liked.

Thanks, i needed to see how to dissemble the bars. I am going to purchase a Xiaomi M365 Pro but i want to install wider handlebars for better control and safety.

Thanks for the tip. It came loose after 2,600 km. Now I have to figure out where all this creaking is coming from...

That top piece you took off with your fingernails doesn't come off easy on mine, any suggestions?

Pry it open (carefully!) with a small, flat screwdriver.
Once you lift up one part a little, hold that and move the screwdriver further down the line and pry again.
After a while you will have a good grip on it, pull it slowly upwards (you can hear the adhesive letting go) and it should pop off after a while.
If you are unable to pry it a little open with a screwdriver, don't force it, it may actually be glued (it should not, but these Chinese cannot be trusted on this).

@@hankbankster9700 hi does the plastic bit need to be glued back down or does it just go back on ok?

@@sleepyrasta420 Mine did have some adhesive, so I put adhesive back when puting it back, but, adhesive is not glue, if you glue it, you may never get it off again. (adhesive is sticky)
