I can relate, I'm 13 and ive started lifting however I only have access to dumbells (each can be up to around 15kg) and a barbell(ish) since you can attach the dumbell handles. Ive made decent progress but overall im still quite skinny and light. In terms of emotion, if i experience something sad or anger inducing even if it is a thought from the past, I just have an urge to cry and i cant hold it back which i am very ashamed of. Idk if its got to do with genes but i get pissed off about it. I know i may be too young to lift, but i hate being skinny and im pretty weak, i can just about lift 9kg each hand for around 5-6 reps. You may not believe what im saying is true maybe because of my profile pic or maybe because most teens in this generation are nutbags but im in a simular situation to you, I dont know if i consider myself depressed however i do feel down pretty often.
@@ethanjames6801 yo man you're pretty strong(looking at the weights u can lift),and also this year I'm 13 too😅but I do mainly calisthenics, although calisthenics is slower than weights in terms of gaining size(not strength) but for me I'm more of the 'fat' side of a body type.I freel frustrated cuz I know calisthenics is slow progress but I feel so slow compared to other teens,at the same time my body stores fat super easily(like to me at least) so I have to eat clean as fuck but still despite that fact I'm not that lean or ripped compared to other guys.Plus it makes me depressed kind of when I see other teens who are lean(and muscular,mind you I don't have that much muscle) still managing to enjoy some good food(unhealthy/not so nutritious food,pizza ect.) and still maintain their physique ect. while for me I can't afford to have cheat meals or even cheat a little. So I hate my body for being so fucking slow if you get it,but I feel ya tho I have a friend like you,at least you're pretty strong,your body ain't as stubborn as mine,I feel all weak,fat ect. and not even as strong like you :p
Actually, my strength is mediocre, i can just about lift 9kg per dumbell and im super light (46kg). And don't worry bro! I believe you can achieve your dream body, we just need to learn how to discipline ourselves, things like not staying in bed all day or going on the computer all the time. I try to take cold showers at least every other day (by cold, I mean the coldest my shower can get), it will feel like hell but it slowly builds mental reslience in you. Plus, i know this is a cliché line, but NEVER quit. If you feel like quitting, remember all those people who said you will not make it, remember why you started and remember who you are doing it for. We all have struggles, adding time to the mix only makes it harder. I know it is hard, especially for you since your body isnt doing things in your favour. Look at the people who have achieved what YOU want to achieve, thats proof that it is possible for you to do it. I know this is easier said than done, but dont be sad abiut everyone's progress, dont compare yourself to anyone else. They have had really good genes or had worked their assess off but that should not matter. I believe in you bro, you are worth more than what your mind tells you. There are people that love and care for you. Do this for me, in a year's time, you will be looking back at yourself. Head forward. Life's a bitch, it can hurt you physically or emotionally but make that your step to growth. Lets do this together bro. It's possible, age shouldn't matter...

Hey look. Here is what you should do: find the way to walk the most in your life. Instead of taking car to work, if its close, walk or take bike. If its not safe then drive ok. Also only buy healthy foods it will cost lot but its good. Have fun cook good healthy food on youtube. Then after a few months when u lost lot of weight u will be buy al the bulking food. Actually, my strength is mediocre, i can just about lift 9kg per dumbell and im super light (46kg). And don't worry bro! I believe you can achieve your dream body, we just need to learn how to discipline ourselves, things like not staying in bed all day or going on the computer all the time. I try to take cold showers at least every other day (by cold, I mean the coldest my shower can get), it will feel like hell but it slowly builds mental reslience in you. Plus, i know this is a cliché line, but NEVER quit. If you feel like quitting, remember all those people who said you will not make it, remember why you started and remember who you are doing it for. We all have struggles, adding time to the mix only makes it harder. I know it is hard, especially for you since your body isnt doing things in your favour. Look at the people who have achieved what YOU want to achieve, thats proof that it is possible for you to do it. I know this is easier said than done, but dont be sad abiut everyone's progress, dont compare yourself to anyone else. They have had really good genes or had worked their assess off but that should not matter. I believe in you bro, you are worth more than what your mind tells you. There are people that love and care for you. Do this for me, in a year's time, you will be looking back at yourself. Head forward. Life's a bitch, it can hurt you physically or emotionally but make that your step to growth. Lets do this together bro. It's possible, age shouldn't matter...

Hey look. Here is what you should do: find the way to walk the most in your life. Instead of taking car to work, if its close, walk or take bike. If its not safe then drive ok. Also only buy healthy foods it will cost lot but its good. Have fun cook good healthy food on youtube. Then after a few months when u lost lot of weight u will be buy al the bulking food. Buy protein shake and drink that ok. Then go to gym and get ripped and jack. Then beat up alpha males to become biggest alpha male.

I immediately stand up for myself when someone tries to bully me or shut me down the very first time it happens because I’ve found out that if you don’t stand up the first time, it almost always continues.

But when he goes home his 15 year old daughter and wife who he's devoted to call the shots because he loves them and wants to make up for all the time he spends away from them at work, is he still alpha when he's following their lead of what to do and where to go?
