This is the way people should be treated all year 'round... NOT with presents and surprises, but with love and attention. We all need encouragement and kindness from others.
Wow Bro....! You are the man. That's how you are supposed to treat the queen of your life. I've been married 35 years and part of our success is keeping thing fresh and exciting.
We stayed in a resort back in the spring of this year in Seiverville. As we were unloading our luggage to take inside there was a black bear 75 yards away and I was so excited! I took a ton of pictures and was so happy with how they turned out (my camera batteries died while I was shooting). One of the best mini-vacations we've had as a couple. We plan on going back in 2023 and making it a family vacation when our son and daughter in law come down from Indiana to join our youngest son and my husband and I. It's going to be great!
That is so cool! We never get tired of seeing bears, from a safe distance 😅, in the wild. It’s so cool! You guys will have a such a great time together, have fun! Thank you for watching & commenting 😃
MK and TJ are such a cute couple. This is what a real marriage looks like and should be. I hope you all always enjoy being together like this and don't forget to keep Christ the center of it all.
I can’t wait to take our kiddos next year to the Smokey Mountains!! And I love the surprise, the cabin, the hiking… amazing!! The bear situation was crazy!!
LOL yes. The resort told us he frequents the area and he is not aggressive… but don’t touch him… You don’t have to worry about us trying to touch a bear lol
This is my FAVORITE VIDEO because we went to the Smoky Mountains 7 times before we saw our first BEAR! We drove, hiked, and biked Cades Cove several times, then on the 7th trip it finally happened! We shared in your excitement in this video! It brought back some wonderful memories for us. It was such a blessing that it happened a special occasion for y’all !
Wow, Sabrina! This is so kind and we love why this is your favorite video! Seeing that bear was one of the neatest things that’s happened to us on this journey so far! 7 times?! That’s crazy! Patient is key I guess, so glad you kept going! Thank you for watching and commenting 😃
Just found your channel! Loved this adventure! I noticed MK is wearing an OBU-HSU shirt!!! I live in Hot Springs! Just wanted to say hello & thanks for the ride along!
Taking a family vacation with both of our kids families in October. We have a cabin very near the cross in your video. Hoping for a bear encounter also. Awesome video. Late Happy Birthday!! I'm not the person from your hike, but I definitely hit subscribe.
Thank you :D She absolutely loved it. I may have enjoyed it too lol Its nice not sleeping on the ground every now and then.... the hot tub was great too lol 🤣
You did a wonderful job in my State! This is my favorite place, I will be in Gatlinburg in July and November! The Love you have for each other is outstanding! And your wife is a sweetie pie! And you are a sweetheart! Blessings to the both of you in your marriage! Love Momma T! #ChattanoogaTN
Oh my gosh, thank you SO much, Tonia! We love Tennessee every time we get to go 🙂 I grew up going to Gatlinburg and it’s fun to take MK now. I think she’s pretty great too 😉 you are too kind. Blessings to you as well!
I'm new to your channel -- I am impressed with your candidness and I love that you are recording your JOurneYs without too much editing, so we feel like we are with you along the way - and not watching a pre-screened movie. I understand the many hours of work that goes into each feature (I have a degree in Biomedical Photography) and your video quality is "top-notch" and will only improve with all this practice. Keep finding the JOY in your journeys. Insiders note: I live on the NC side of the GSMNP and I have only hiked the Laurel Falls trail once. When I did -- I went another .5 miles past the falls...and it was like being on a totally different trail...no people...rougher terrain and continues uphill...but well worth it -- on that mountain are very old and huge "old-growth forest" trees. They are scattered near the trail, but accessible from this trail -- you can step just a few steps off the trail and be close to these giants. Big enough in diameter for four adults to holds hands for wrapping their arms around the trunks. I love thinking about how these trees were little saplings when our country was young circa 1800.
Woody this comment is awesome! We LOVE feedback from our subscribers and the fact that you took the time to write this out (twice) means a lot to us :) Im not going to lie, I had to look up what Biomedical Photography is ;P The tip on the trail makes us wish we had gone a little further! Your description alone makes us want to go back and see it. Thanks again for joining us on our adventures, we are thankful for you! :D
Was the drive to the cabin really steep and curvy. The one we went to last week in Gatlinburg was. We woke up to a bear standing on our truck your video was great

Wouldn’t that be great! Where do you find your encouragement?

Dude thats awesome! Congrats on 35 years!
MK you remind me of my daughter. I really like that you enjoy the simple things in life, like dinner from the back of the car and birthday cards.
That is so kind! I do enjoy the little things, they make up the big things 💙

Thank you so much! It was steep and curvy but it was all paved and it wasn’t long, so not a bad drive at all 😃

This is so awesome! You all will have a blast! Did you book this exact cabin?
How much was this cabin a night?
It’s been a couple of years but I think it was between $200-300.
I'm going to guess that TJ is a Capricorn and MK is a Libra.
Guess again :)
@@MKandTJ Just tell me your actual signs.
Cabins look nice in that resort but for over 500 a night on weekends . NO THANKS
Yeah it can be steep in the peak season, what would you pay for it?
