I use different types of testing depending on what's going on. But generally I prefer the GI Map. It's not a conventional lab that only your doctor can order... Other practitioners like myself (I'm a clinical nutritionist) can order it. While it's not a conventional lab, it is still a clinical test rather than other consumer stool tests like viome which can't be used clinically
i used it heavily for years since it worked... until it didn't. I don't know if this was a coincidence but a couple years after stopping I was diagnosed with with lymphoma. Thank God I'm still in remission.
