@@politicsexplained2179 yo i was literaly listening to this as i got your comment's notification lol. Yeah, this smile is the best and truly emcompases the feelings we get from jazz fusion. Its the best.
He created theme song jingles for train stations in Tokyo because he loves trains! He also created a company to make train simulators! What a cool guy!
I always feel like he is smiling with japanese politenes over the concern that his bandmates steal the show during his solo, but then that solo turns out to be way too iconic to be overlooked and is made even more iconic by his reaction. Absolute legend.
i don't know what is more impressive, the keyboard solo or the fact that he looking and laughing at Sakurai and Noro san's direction while playing it,...
Seeing this now as popular as it is truly amazing. I bought the Casiopea Live dvd from the Japanese Amazon back in 2001 (I cannot believe 23 years have passed - I’m based in the UK) and I remember that when it got delivered I bunked off sixth form to watch it (it was a double set with Perfect Live 2)… back then there was no YT or smart phones so when I saw this section at the end of GFunk which was the last track… I literally had no one to really share it with 🤣🤣🙈. I’m soo glad it’s being played to death by so many people, it’s truly awesome 💙👊💥
Irony From being a star to a forgotten railman We all want him back to the screen But the man is all consumed and tired Well afterall . He lived a hella of a life !
On the main video of this somebody writes it out and it's so complicated I can't even understand what the all the notation means. But there's a midi video of this which shows you the piano keys which are played.

So amazing..
Exactly. Real good times they always carried
that beautiful face of his and his legendary smile.

Agree! "Legendary Smile" :)
His smile is like seeing a loved one after several years. I am in love with jazz fusion. This shit is what you need right here. Legendary composing

Train Station Jingles are quite underrated. It's not easy to make an awesome 5-second piece.
That is so perfect, i need to hear some of these train jingles
This is the greatest moment in music history.
Off course
One of my favourite chord progressions of all time, so jazzy and charismatic!

it's the magic of cyrcle of 5th, i love that too❤
Hell yeah. I go back to watch Mukaiya's solo whenever I feel down. It's the happiest moment in live music history.
This solo piece is the reason I returned to playing Keyboard again, I love jazz fusion and the sound of his playing!!

Possibly the direct inspiration for the Super Mario star theme?
You may want to look up the song Summer Breeze by Piper. It's in the album of the same name.
You need to hear Casiopea's song "Swear" ; about Super Mario Athletic theme.
