honestly 4:14 just makes you smile, seeing the guys dancing having a great time, their bandmate trying to play and look at the same time. it's like they joked about doing that move three minutes before the set and were like 'shall we do it?' 'yep lets do it.'

Literally hearing this for the first time and while I agree the keyboard solo is legendary my jaw hit the floor when the bass started popping off. What are some other must-listens from this group?
CASIOPEA concert was held in Sumo Arena in Ryogoku, Tokyo built in January 1985. The arena was built by Japan Sumo Association without borrowing money from any banks. Their efforts primarily owed to the head of the association at that time, a former grand champion of Sumo. Very interesting story.
I want somebody to look at me the way the keyboardist looked at the guitarists when he was hitting those notes perfectly without even looking at the keyboard
Everybody is talking about Minoru Mukaiya (Keys) & Tetsuo Sakurai (Bass) and righfully so. But shout out to my man Issei Noro (Guitar) for laying down a sick ass slap guitar solo and having an insane feel for groove and rhythm while also being an insanely good shredder.
Phenomenal!!!! That Yamaha solo was solid, watching the bassist and guitarist, dance. I love the drummer just smiling, laughing and just being happy. Great band!!!!
I'm from Mexico, and videos or moments like this make feel happy and sad, because even if I was young in that era, I wouldn't see the show live, what a beautiful song, solo, and moment of the band, If I were there, at that moment, I would cry so hard of joy, I just want to have a job that fullfill me as hard as they felt in that moment, thank you so much UA-cam for bring me here
I don’t care with iteration of Casiopea I can get, but I can’t die happy until I see a single live performance from them. I’ll fucking swim to Japan if I have to.

This is their best performance of Galactic Funk.
MrCryingMoon I also like the version in which they are joined by Level 42.

I was stationed in Japan in 1984 to 1986. I found these guys and kinda went crazy over them. I love every song they ever played.
How'd they get lost?
Very inspring words Mr. Dick Burns.
Get some water
This is just the first time to be listening and i got this funny feeling that these guys only have good stuff to offer.
@urproblem if they have it - i'll listen to it
Dude the call and response at 5:10 - 6:03 between the bass and drums is sick

Already watched this 100 times but haven't noticed Minoru's dance at 2:32 until now. Those little moves!

NOOICE one! Everyone probably already knows they were sponsored by Yamaha so tthey HAD to play all Yamaha. They are the Jordans of funky synth.

Why have I never heard of this exceptional group before???!!!
As someone who discovered them yesterday, I’m wondering the same exact thing!
Well, thank the youtube for being allowed to be released here :D
Look at this keyboardist lay down the dirtiest solo in history while looking away and cackling like a madman
Just timestamping the beginning of Minoru Mukaiya's epic keyboard solo

I wonder what it's like to be part of something this great
The keyboard and drum groove part was way too good.
Something I've noticed, no other version of this song has dared try replicated the 3:18 solo.
I’ve noticed that too. Its like this was a rare phenomenon that caught the attention of future generations.
Gutarist and bassist "we also can dance too"
Man, this song is too epic. The reff feels Relaxing and nostalgic.
I imagine this would be absolute treat to play on Rock Band.
All the 7 minutes of it, including the keyboard solo from 3:18 to 4:45. Especially the keyboard solo.
That smile and progression always cheer me up
First heard about them thru this vid
Almost 13 years later and here i am again grooving to this
hell yeah!!
I know i commented here before but GODDAMN that keyboardist's chord progression is just so HOLY FUCKING SHIT ABSOLUTELY INSANE

Thank you UA-cam once again for your amazing algorithms
This band is greattttttttttttt
Domi and Beck could learn alot by watching this
if I'll ever have a child, I'll show this as an example of what humanity could achieve if they do things they enjoy together
These instruments are talk to each other, the hearts talk beyond sixthsense feeling....they are Gods....not human
