I agree with you totally on the cop thing. I am also chronically ill and chronic pain and all that. But it drives me CRAZY when people park in handicap spots when they aren’t supposed to be there! Love you! 💜💜💜

I remember Woolworths! Walmart put them out of business here in the states.. along with every other "five and dime" type store😕. I despise Walmart and how they do business. Pop up 2 at a time in towns, putting small businesses out of business, not giving employees full time hours, just to get out of giving them full time benefits, like health insurance🤬😡... (rant over, cause I'll only get more worked up)
Try using your skin prep that you would use under your dressing on your Hickman, on the area your going to place your pain patch. It might just be a reaction to the adhesive.
Chronic Butterfly Woolworths went out of business in the uk too ! I didn’t know it was in so many other countries !
Woolworths in australia is quite different to the one in the states i think
Ask for a Flovent inhaler to spray on before patch....I’m extremely allergic to the adhesive and although I still react, with the Flovent it is sooooo much better!

If the police are just going in to get some shopping then they should totally not park in a disabled space even more so I there is 10mins parking smh.
And by that you mean you would be able to know when the next emergency call was going to be dispatched, right? Hence the ALLOWANCE for law enforcement to use these spaces.
@@colormezebra2841 you do realise that there is more then one police car in Australia? And as she stated there were 10min parking bays and an ambulance bay as well, so no they should not be using the disabled bay if it's not an emergency. Disabled bays are close to the shops for a reason, she's has a chronic illness and could have passed out! Or worse.
@@babybluecheeks what does that have to do with them ALLOWED to park there to begin with? It is allowed, therefore they are not doing anything wrong to get your whacked senses of duty/judgement.

Quality Street is the best, but we wouldn't be able to share though, we have the same favourites :P A trip to Livingston is now required I had no idea that you could get them there :P Oh and Legally as far as I am aware, ACROD trumps those other labelled spaces such as Parking with prams etc. so if there are no ACROD available you are allowed to park there with your permit displayed :) Thats what I have been told
Yess quality street is a fave for me too I love the mint triangles, the purple carmel nut one and the strawberry cream. I’m from the uk I also love celebrations!!

Amy I'm glad you defended your opinion about the cop because I agree with you. Plus police in many places can park in front of buildings not even in a spot, so if they really were in a hurry that's probably what they would do. All in all i think that cop was just inconsiderate and didn't think about what he was doing.
Hey Amy my English is not very good but I have EDS and the patch. It is working for me but I have the red skin and itching. It really bad. I was wandering if it is working for you and if you have any tips for me. You should be really proud of your self. You are beautiful and should never doubt yourself with anything. Love from holland
Kim Van Den Ankr - spray a Flovent inhaler (steroid asthma inhaler) under area where you are putting patch....make sure you have 3 weeks between using the same area twice for the patch....

Totally agree about the disability parking and I loved you bringing it up my Mam is a badge holder and it’s crazy when anyone parks in them, in Ireland we can park in other spaces with the badge but the disability spots are nearer places so saves a lot of walking but I normally myself won’t use them myself as I am always thinking of worse off ppl needing them but again WELL DONE for bringing this up and most of the haters on this subject I would say never held a badge or understand the real importance of having these bays keep clear. In regards to the patches you could ask for a different brand as some use different glue etc. I also tested out different areas of my body for reactions. For me my bum cheek is the best place and I don’t react there for some reason 🤷🏻♀️ my doctor said try to keep it on the upper body but that anywhere fatty will work . So I tried tummy, breast, shoulder blade , lower back etc xx
Transform with Tash - I was told that the patches have to be above the belt line and can not be on breast tissue!

Transform with Tash - the pharmacist and nurse both told me that they say not to put it on breast tissue and has to be above the belt line on the back because there is concern about how the meds May affect breast tissue and women’s reproductive organs. They said that at this time there is not enough studies showing no affect to those areas.....the pamphlet just says it shouldn’t be on breast and gives measurements about how far away it has to be! Now this is for Buprenorphine so I don’t know if fentanyl is any different? The pharmacist actually told me that he tells everyone to just keep them on upper arms because the manufacturers are so specific about how far away the patches have to be.....I’m so allergic tho so I HAVE to rotate the areas a lot!!!

Hey Amy just so y know I did some research into the whole carpark thing and wat I found was that there is no law that states u can’t park in a parent with pram parking space those spaces r just put there by the shopping centre as a courtesy so if next time ur struggling for a park park there cause u do have a disabled parking card which allows you to park anywhere and not be fined also just to let u know since u have a disabled parking sticker if there is paid parking u don’t need to pay for parking cause u have that I know this cause I was told by a parking inspector I live in Canberra ACT so maybe it’s different for Perth go onto ur shop front website or google it and u will get more info I hope this helps let me know how u go

How are the pain patches working for your pain? I keep meaning to ask. You seem to be doing much better. I know nothing will take away all the pain, but I've noticed there are a lot of videos that don't mention pain at all!!!There is somebody else who watches your videos whose doctor has her spray of a steroid nasal spray on her arm before putting the patches on. A huge word of caution---you need to be very careful in the heat with the patches on. Increasing temperatures can cause more of the medication to be released which could have dangerous side effects.
BottleBabies Reborns - yes!! The sun can increase it by 4 times....I learnt the hard way during a trip to Mexico....horrible! I do the steroid inhaler spray!!
Kelly Cannon yes!i couldn't remember your name but I remembered the tip! You are right! It works like a charm. I've not had any bad reactions since trying it. I had a fever a few years ago the day after I changed it and the home health nurse found me pretty loopy.
I use my quality street box as a biscuit tin now.

Hi sweetie. I used to use butrans patches. Summers here are very hot and under my patch would blister. Dr told me it would probably get worse each reaction. Please keep rescue allergy meds handy. I'm sorry it is doing that it is very uncomfortable. Dr had told me it was probably the gel inside medicine.
My apologies if I was one post that might have upset you about police car, they should have parked in 10 min parking before disabled.
Hi Amy, my patches do the same the thing, antihistamines really helped and I no longer have the problem as long as I take them every day. I would try this rather than putting them on ur legs because the patches don’t work as well on yours legs, should be on upper body. Strange I know, I don’t get how they work better on your upper body but they do lol. Hope this helps

From earlier videos I saw you were doing chew and spit with food. I wondered do you have to spit and chew the chocolate?! 😱😱😱 I totally would fail at that!
Also how does drinking work for you? Cause I've seen you do IV fluids but then you often seem to have drinks. I love tea I think I'd cry if I had to spit and swallow it.

Right or wrong if there are no disabled spaces left but there are mother and child spaces available I will use one of them. Mums and children are fitter than disabled people so I agree the police have no reason to take up a disabled space. X

You shouldn’t have to defend your opinion on the police situation. If it was an emergency then they would have parked up front in a not parking spot, with their lights on. It’s not right to take up a disabled space when it’s so needed for so many others. I’m sorry you felt you had to explain your feelings about it.
