The Fisher 1236 X2 is a good machine. Pretty much impossible to do any serious metal detecting with this machine in a drive-in theater? It's made for deeper relic-type objects. Thanks!
I bought this around 2000, used just a 'lil. And wanted to get some help with using it again. This video is a tremendous help. Thanks so much for posting it, I keep coming back & re watching. trying to find relics in my 1890's homestead.
I know this is an older video , but it’s still very informative. I don’t have a 1236 , but I have a 1225x that I use in our local parks that have been hunted to death. Yes , the 12 series are older machines , but my 1225 still finds good stuff , and deep stuff where newer machines have been , and missed. I wouldn’t take a new machine with all the bells and whistles for my 1225. I know some newer machines mite go deeper than mine , but ALOT” depends on knowing ur machine. I much prefer beep and dig over something playing some kind of song. I’ve got a 1266x coming also. Was a great machine when made , still is. Hope u have more detector videos coming out scanner guy. Love watching them.
Reminds me of my lively 1266-X I used to have. Wish I still did. Having fun with bottle caps !! Collect all four !! Lol. You know scannerguy1968, something has been a mystery to me for the last several years. Where has all the silver gone ??!! It has become very hard to find silver these days and also, even regular clad coins for that matter. Don't know why this is. I can go to areas and not find a single coin where there were lots of people and there should be some. It's been really puzzling to me. Have you been having these 'dry' periods lately? Really a mystery and yes, I am using some 'killer' deep machines.
