Did you pass? 😂
How did you do?
Did you pass
Boy same😅
Thanks soooo much I’m taking cal 1 rn and I’m about to take the tsi test for college and I desperately need to recap algebra 😊
This is really going to help, thank you! I'm about to retake the math section on tuesday
Hey quick question did you pass after watching this review?
I think the cross, multiply and divide method would’ve been much simpler for the restaurant tip problems.
lemme get to know you

Thank you so much for uploading this. It helped me a lot.
the lady teaching the percent area needs better explaining skills because I was so clueless on where she got 3 and 4 from on 34:10 till I realized it was because 25 goes into 75 3 times and 25 goes into 100 4 times and thats the percentage we wanna get to in order to find out the full price and how much I saved
last year i was a freshman in highschool i made a 949, literally 1 point away. Currently, I am taking my tsi tmr ill let yall know if I will pass
Thank you!
Hi There, so when solving the percentage problem at min. 34:16 you say "if you divide both sides by 3" then you say "if you multiply both sides by 4" but it is not clear to me how you chose these numbers. Can you please explain?
I agree and also would like to know where those numbers came from.
Its because she's using 100% as the whole, and it can be evenly ( and normally split ) into 4 25% parts. So she's taking 75% ( 3 parts ) and using that to calculate the full 100% ( 4 parts ) Im super bad at explaining and especially with math but I was confused as well and had to pause and try to figure it out!
I jus posted a comment explaining it
That part was very confusing!!
i got lost when solving 5x10-(8x6-15)+4x20/4 i got 3 as my answer
48-15
5x10-33+4x20/4
50-33+80/4
50-33+20
50-53
=3 please explain how its 13 instead of 53 please and thank you
You add and subtract left to right. So 50-33 is 17 + 20 is 37. I am not sure where the 13 came into play.
@@macibell1072 I was trying to figure out the same thing? Thank that I'm not the only one😂😂
Yeah I think she took 33 as a negative so I think we are right
You made a mistake by saying that negative numbers are included in whole numbers (21:56). Whole numbers only include 0, 1, 2, etc. but no negative numbers.
