In Germany we say: I leave with one laughing eye and one crying eye! The saying fits this song perfectly because it makes me happy and sad at the same time
Yes, I read on YT that the song was written by Benjamin Tekulu in 1990, when he was a student. In 1998 Sony paid to Tekulu a small amount to use the song in "The Thin Red Line". A small amount, a big shame
Ezekiel 5:7-10 7 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because ye multiplied more than the nations that are round about you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the judgments of the nations that are round about you; 8 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; behold, I, even I, am against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations. 9 And I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do anymore the like, because of all thine abominations. 10 Therefore the fathers shall eat the sons in the midst of thee, and the sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments in thee, and the whole remnant of thee will I scatter into the winds.

The Thin Red Line comes to Mind. Thanks for this song..
I've seen another world. Sometimes I think it was just my imagination.
The song was apparently written by Benjamin Tekulu, not Hans Zimmer. :) I LOVE it.
The hymn was, the arrangement of it for the film was Zimmer. Not sure if this version was for the movie. I'm just glad it's here.

Goosebumps ❤️
oh lord you r the rising
