I will miss Vanessa, playing the young Princess Margaret on the series The Crown. She played her well and sort of looked like her. Margaret was a wild child who was daddy's little girl and was under shadowed by her big sister, Elizabeth and her own mother. Vanessa Kirby is so cool!

Having come across Princess Margaret myself by pure accident when the lights went up finding I was sitting in the same row as she was with her numerous friends at a cinema in Soho. It certainly explained through the darkness the abundant cigarette smoke and laughter (it was a comedy we were watching).
A number of years after that I had to accept payment for something that was delivered to Kensington Palace - the cheque was from Margaret’s account.

In the 60’s I was sitting in a cinema just off Leicester Square and in my row there was conversation and general rowdiness accompanied by a lot of cigarette smoke throughout the film.
When the lights went up at the end this group remained seated and to my upmost surprise I saw it was Princess Margaret the only woman surrounded by a number of men. Quite surreal but it was the 60’s and things were happening and changing.
She was just goergous as Margaret.

wow she really changes her accent for role in The Crown....I can't really understand her real life accent (but I am Cdn)...hahahha she has a very strong likeness to Princess Margaret as does Matthew Goode to A.A. Jones(gosh was he really that sleezy?.....This series makes Helen Mirren's The Queen look very very second rate portrayal. I just wish in Series 2 though interesting to have some focus on life of Prince Philip would have liked to see a llittle of the life of queen Mother that they started in series 1 when she bought property in Scotland...that just seems forgotten about... Great series....Claire Foy is beyond extraordinary!!!!
