I thought we could use Dates for Filling chart for F2B since it’s stated on the website you showed. Also, when the priority date becomes current, can I file an AOS while my I-130 is still pending (F2B)?

Hi, thanks a lot for such an informative video. I have one question. Can you explain in detail the difference between dates for filing application and Final Action Dates. Further, what if someone's Date for Filing has become current after Aug bulletin. Are they required to file the application right away or they have to wait till their dates become current under Final Action Date category. In case they are required to file applications immediately, then how much time is given for the completion of paperwork.

Thank you so much for your videos with updates! Wanted to ask you a question. I’m EB3 category with priority day DEC13 2018. I applied when my category was current and even had an interview in Chicago office March 9th 2020. The interview went well, the officer told me she will have to review proof of evidence documents and I will hear back from them in 2 weeks. After about a month or two my status changed to “Interview was canceled and notice ordered”. I know it was around the time when EB3 jumped back to 2016. So I was wondering if I should have my case approved soon now since EB3 become current for me (priority date Dec13 2018) Thank you very much!

If you don’t mind me asking you a question... can you please clarify me which is my category?, we filled out the paperwork when my father was a green card holder but a year later he became a citizen ... am I going to still have the f2b category or they will put me on the f1 category? I’m unmarried son over 21 years
Were you over 21 when your father filed the I-130? Also do you know if the I-130 has already been approved? They don't automatically switch to you to F1, usually you have to upgrade the I-130 petition. In your case though, the F2B category priority date is better than F1 so you may not want to upgrade. I'd ask a lawyer about this, whether you should or shouldn't. Rules are always changing so best to confirm with an attorney

Hi, this was such an informative video, but I have a question I have filed an I130 for my husband in November 9,2018 and since then I have submitted a response to their request for evidence which they received last year September 5th and since then I haven’t gotten a response. What do you think the issue might be or how further along would I be waiting for a response from them?

Please note that USCIS has been approved our case on dated 4 June 2020 under I-130 ( Alien relative ) but we did not receive yet any email ? When will they send email ?

Hello , when will the US embassy reopen in India for the issue of F1 visa for fall students to enter US universities.
I don't understand about the priority date, I get as much as the date that the i130 was filled by is the priority date, but I don't understand how to read the visa bulletin. Is it that example if i 130 was filled In August 2017 but they just reach 2015 then I would say I have 2 years before my priority date is available...I don't get it, could you please clear up this confusion for me🤔
Great video. Question: I'm from the Philippines, EB2 category and my priority date is March 15, 2019. I finished my green card interview last december 2019 and they told me that i was ok and that all i have to do is wait for my green card priority date to be current. Now since the current priority date on the eb2 category in the Philippines is april 1,2019, Does that mean I should be receiving my green card anytime soon?

Yes they are processing Forms I-140 and I-485 (which can be filed together if your priority date is current). The only thing to keep a watch on is if these furloughs on august 3rd happen or not. If they do, USCIS will be left with less than half of its staff so not sure how they will prioritize work then....but furloughs may not happen, let's see...

Hi. If for each country a 7% quota out of the 65,000 visas available annually for F4 Category, does this mean residents of some countries can get visa faster than other residents from other countries based on the number of applications and the number of prospective immigrants?? If that is true so, the priority date in the visa bulletin may not apply equally to the whole world because the 7% will definitely reflect unequal number of immigrants for each country. Am I right?

Can you pls clarify below message showing on NVC website (ceac.state.gov/IV)
after receiving their approval email under I.130 catagory.
"Due to the numerical limitations on immigrant visa issuance prescribed by law, this petition is not eligible for further processing at this time. The National Visa Center (NVC) will retain the petition until an immigrant visa becomes available. The NVC will notify the petitioner, principal applicant, or attorney of record when this petition is eligible for further processing. The principal applicant should not make any firm plans such as disposing of property, giving up jobs, or making travel arrangements at this time"

If you are about to age out (almost 21), they will allow it to move forward, otherwise the proclamation will affect you (until Dec 31, 2020). Your parents are green card holders?
We just applied for i140 under EB1 India. EB1 India is moving fast what will happen if my priority date becomes current but my I140 is still not approved can I still submit my I485 or do we have to wait several years for my priority date to become current again. We have 2 years left on our current visa. Please advice.
If your priority date becomes current, you will be able to file your I-485 even if your I-140 is not approved. Many people file the 485 together with the 140 (because for many, there is no backlog). When your date gets close to being current, you should reach out to your immigration lawyer about the 485. Good luck!

Will the upcoming furloughs affect RFE s as well ?
I don't think even the USCIS knows how it will manage operations without so much of its staff...No one really knows...but the furloughs may get postponed or canceled if they get some funding. So let's see what happens in the next couple of weeks with the funding.

Is there any alternative Visa for USA citizens spouse ? My case only waiting for interview. Stuck at NVC stage. Is anyway I can bring my wife ASAP ? Can my wife get emergency Visa ? My mom sick, she have kidney & high blood pressure patient, I need my wife to live withy family. So, she also take care my mom. Before I applied spouse visa, we applied fiance visa, that time was not married we decide to marry in the USA but unfortunately fiance visa not given by us Consulate, they told us during the interview " seems like u guys are married go and apply cr1. We waited for the evedivce from us Consulate but they not asked anything from us they send us the terminated letter. After all these we got married last year and applied all process from beginning with cr1 visa now we stuck on last step only interview left.
