Great video! One of my favorite mechanics in the game :) Been using this since silph sinister cup last october and it definitely won me games (at the expense of my opponents sanity lol). Was sad to see it go, but glad to see it's back... at least for now.
Also it's worth mentioning that you can counter this by waiting a couple millisecond for your charge move to pop up and then pressing it (basicallly undertapping)
Got my sub, thanks for explaining mechanics that are in the game. Things like this bring more awareness to players who want to perform at a high level. Like you said bugs can turn into tech and its up to the game creators to address it or let it be.
I hope one day i can fully understand what's is this all about! But still nice work man! i've learnd how to prevent free fast moves with you. really apreciate your content
I've been able to do this with my Toxicroak vs Galvantula several times today. I don't think it flipped the matchup at all, but I could see pairing this mechanic with a quick switch-in farm down being pretty powerful.
Yeah you have to be able to finish them off during their overtapped move otherwise it doesn't really do much so it is very niche. Can flip the vic/galv matchup in the 1s and i had it save me a shield in a switch in situation with a shadow grotle vs galv as well
I heard about this for months now but now with a video explaining this I finally understand what's going on. Think I 'accidently' been using this technique not knowing it, just because I'm trying to time my Charge Moves right
I dont think in that case that either side gets the extra fast move. The game seems to queue the later charge move activation right after the first one just like a cmp tie. It's very strange but probably has to do with latency
No wonder when I'm using Rapidash with it's new move Incinerate, it keeps overtapping even when the charge move is ready...I still love that little horsey, but the fast move is so glitchy. Lost so many matches due to it.
Using 4 turn fast move Pokemon is always difficult, very high chance of over tapping and losing a lot of turns. The last hypno gameplay was very impressive
With the fake cmp ties, when I lose them, my opponents always make dirty swaps. I wonder if you force a fake cmp tie then u could swap out after you’re move idk
I am back here! Just wanted to confirm, that players in rank 9 uses this glitch a lot! I need to change my team, because I was screwed 2 times in 1 battle by this, and this is ruining my score more and more. I also feel forced to use this glitch to my advantage to stay competitive :( [ I dropped from 2650 to 2550]
Yea, but I think that Niantic should work on that. I suspect, that they are not aware, that this issue is influencing gaming experience so much. Thanks for making me aware of that! Now I at least know why I am loosing.
Dang. This is some "front page of the leaderboard" stuff.
I'll watch these videos a lot of times just to memorize them. Thanks for your hard work.

Haha yeah but who has the patience for that, i gotta tap my screen 😜 always fun playing you when we hit each other by the way
This is kinda disappointing to see the so called leaderboards trying to exploit every bug possible to gain advantage
So, the overtapping bug you refer to - that would be Galvantula right? :)

Appreciate the sub and the kind words! I'll strive to keep putting out educational content

No worries, this one is a pretty niche case as is, it won't likely come up except against galvantulas and hypnos!
@@Wallower But still helps, i like to run Froslass and gotta optimize my plays against those very 2 pokemon as well! Thank you so much!

god level strats, thanks for sharing!!
A really great content. BTW I am wondering if a false CMP tie would give the extra fast move to the side who was 1 turn ahead

Yeah the long fast moves are very clunky, I really prefer the 2 and 3 turn fast moves
Using 4 turn fast move Pokemon is always difficult, very high chance of over tapping and losing a lot of turns. The last hypno gameplay was very impressive
sometimes i overtap and i found out that a good way to not overtap is to not tap on the screen at all for 1 turn and then click on the move.
Yup! Overtapping is countered by patience but I often lack that myself haha

They at least tried to fix dirty swaps but im not sure how that went. It would be interesting to see if you still can
You can dirty swap out of a fake cmp tie but not a true cmp tie I think

Sorry to hear about that 😞

I'm glad I could help even if it's identifying a bug. But yeah, they really do need to out a higher priority on fixing these things
I noticed, that overtapping is back during mu sets today, because I use confusion and volt switch :( My team was a lot better without this bug...
Yeah overtapping is hell for the 4 turn move users unfortunately
