@@okieflamingo To these catty women who feel they have to put others down to feel better about themselves: confidence is silent. Insecurities are loud.
Exactly! Sometimes it feels like we’re not allowed to bring this up anymore or we get called pick mes and women haters. Women do have a tendency to bully each other in the nastiest way you could imagine and I have experienced it my whole life.
Absolutely. I could never do it but I applaud every second. And when I see things I am critical of, and I do... I think them, I do not post them. That is just hurtful for no reason. And who cares what I think - what they think is what matters.
Amen! I am 63 years old and go to a public gym every morning. On a daily basis people tell me that I am old and can't build muscle at my age. It's ridiculous how people think it's okay to make negative comments. I go to the gym to gain strength AND for my mental well-being. I ignore the silliness and focus on my personal goals! Love your message. ❤
@@sherryalexander2421 im sorry you dont have support at your gym, maybe you can shop for another one, every gym has its own culture. Im 61 and have been a part of many gyms and each one has had a distinct vibe, with my current gym being really great for older folks. I get fistbumps every day from the young gym bros, supporting me being there. You can find that to I believe, as lomg as you live in a large enough area with choices. In any case, f@*k those naysayers, you are a badass beast for taking care of your body...walk in there proud do your thang baby!!!!
Just turned 64. Im sure I get judged at my gym (I’m about 25 lbs overweight) but I dress decently and have a smile on my face. I don’t feel self conscious, I just keep thinking about how lucky I am that I feel good enough to go to the gym 😊.
Don’t let them discourage you - keep up your weight training! I am 71 and started from scratch with weight training just over a year ago and I have put on over 5 pounds of muscle and stopped my bone loss. You can do it too! Have a goal and be consistent and ignore the negativity that others sometimes feel it’s okay to give to older women. You will soon be able to show them how wrong they are! Best of luck!
I'm 82 and going to PT. My therapist is a PhD and told me to gain muscle I need 100 Grams of protein a day. I'm using high 30 Gm. protein Ensure. We can build muscle and get stronger. Keep in going and good luck
Something to think about-“Blowing out someone else’s candle, does not make yours burn any brighter. “ Honestly, women snarking on other women is beyond unattractive. Thank you, Nikol, for being a very bright light.
Great statement! Many think it will & take satisfaction in bringing others down. There’s a certain type of person who feels good doing that. I’ve met more than I’d care to meet again 😅
It's not only bringing other women down It's bringing older women down. ageism is rampant. We are already feeling invisible and insignificant and then to have particularly younger women treating us as though we know nothing. It's abhorrent
Why are women so MEAN? It’s their insecurities that’s the issue, my father’s favourite quote and I use it frequently. ‘ Give the meanest of the mean enough rope…eventually, they strangle themselves’ it is so true! Ignore the ones that want to hurt and pull you down, they’re so not worth it! greetings from the UK …I love your content and everything you post, it warms my heart and Soul xx❤
Just take a ook at Vicky Joy Anderson! She shines a Light that is not found in some of what the media, magazines and other social networks, would never consider beautiful and yet she MOST definitely is!!!!
I was a nurse for 40 years. Nobody can be more cruel, petty and nasty than a bitter woman. I used to wonder where it comes from. I stopped trying to figure it out as I always landed on insecurity. The internet in general is running wild with this rudeness. People say things online they would never dare to utter in person. Watch a pet or child video that is good hearted and watch all the naysayers weigh in. Some people could curse a snowball in hell. I used to watch your videos and got away from all the beauty things as my life focused on other stuff. But I have resubscribed as your support of women our ages ( I am 68 ) is beautiful.
Literally nobody has ever bullied me like other women have. They can be so nasty I just felt like I couldn’t please them. I would try so hard to cater to them and try to get them to like me and it only made them hate me even more like it made them angry that I didn’t wanna compete with them. Always felt so alone in that sense and it feels like nowadays you’re not allowed to talk about this or they bully you even more and call you a pick me/woman hater or whatever as if nobody can believe a woman isn’t all sweet and wonderful all the time. They can be absolutely mean and nasty.
@@dorothy135curse a snowball in Hell. Lol. I’m going to remember that. I think the vindictiveness from women specifically comes from a lot of pent up trauma, abuse, & living in a culture where we’re expected conform, to take care of everyone around us,& put on a smile. Neither bottling it all in, blindly conforming to society’s standards, or bleeding your trauma onto everyone near you is any way to live. Very sad.
I am a man and love your channel. I like fashion, and this brought me here a long time ago via shorts. I've never suspected that things can go that wrong. Stay strong and all the best to you ladies!
It is said that as we age, we have 1-5 friends. I have 3 that I trust & I learned the hard way the difference between an acquaintance & a true friend! ❤
Bravo🎉 Nikol! I'm just turning 68 yrs young, my breasts were removed 7 years ago, and my husband had open heart surgery just 5 months before that. In addition, our son fell asleep while driving down from Reno to Sacramento to cook a Sunday dinner before my surgery and the celebration of my husband's 72nd birthday🎂 the day before my surgery. That was seven long years ago. I've been watching your channel for 3 years now. I love ❤️ you and your purpose and approach. I appreciate you on so many levels. Thank you very much for all you represent! ❤ Today, too many are playing the judgment or blame game.😢😢 😢😢😢😢
Thank you YES! my guests and my audience are very special people. The ones that are supposed to be here are and the ones that shouldn't will disappear.
Ignoring the problem leaves it time to fester and grow. Ignoring the problem just teaches our children to take it, turn the cheek, and let them have that moment. It is a moment you will never be able to give back to them, and the first of so many moments that they can really only pretend to ignore. Those moments grow. They make piles of different moments that we as the ones who are being mocked, will never have again. I realized the other day that I am 52. I am definitely on the less of my life that I have to deal with. If I took a marker and wrote out my problems that you don't see that are wrong with my body I know I would have full sleeve tattoo like writings on both my arms. But it doesn't matter. Women are women. I would rather be friends with a man any day of the week. They either like you or don't. They also don't make it a big deal. Poker night is much better if I have cooked the snacks myself and am paying attention to what they can and can not have. They just really don't like it when I win.
@@christinebartholomew5180, ignore them? No, no, no, no, no. BLOCK 'em!!! Then they can't get back onto your page. Problem solved -- at least for that particular Negative Nelly.
So true! It’s easy to act bold and say mean things when hiding behind the cover of the internet. It just shows their low self-esteem and lack of self love.
You know why the internet is like this? Because back in the day (70s-80s) when I was growing up before internet, if you had something to say to someone, you said it to their face. And if it was a snarky comment, you just may have gotten your ass beat. How cowardly people are these days to talk crap about someone 3,000 miles away when you don’t get immediate-if any-repercussions? That’s like yelling at the neighbourhood bully while standing behind your dad. 😂
Thank you for speaking the truth and using this platform as you do! Hopefully, some of the bullies can recognize themselves and look in their mirrors. They are a very small group who follows you and just maybe they’ll go away..🙏
Totally agree with you. But, your platform isn’t the only one where this is happening. So many of my other platforms I follow are saying the same thing. Let’s just play nice. ❤
I couldn't agree with you more! I suspect that some people have nothing better to do with their lives than complain, and in other cases it is most likely jealousy or they are simply just miserable. Good for you for speaking up. You are not only extremely beautiful but also a truly lovely person. Thank you.
Miss nikol you are a class act and thank you for what you said.... I am 65 yrs old and still a server in a restaurant and couldn't get a job for 6 months because of my age but I guarantee that I am a more dependable loyal employee than these young people that don't know how to show respect
I was chatting with a woman in the waiting room while at my doctor's for my annual wellness check up and when I mentioned my job, she said "OMG, they're hiring old women to work at [my place of employment]. I can't believe they'd do that there!" I was speechless ~ there's no lady-like reply to something as rude and insensitive to that type of comment!
I jst absolutely empathize wth u Ncole about bashing n envy n negativity🌺 I luv luv luv everything about you, u r such positivity n uniqueness n encouragement to older women💖🧡💖🧡💖🧡
Just stopped serving at 54 years old and worked 5 nights a week. Most requested server they had but pushed aside for younger servers who described the flan as “milky jelly” and bragged loudly in front of customers about their tips. I was happy to leave.
At 67 years old, losing my daughter 8 years ago and my husband last year to cancer, I have learned to accept the fact that those that judge have more insecurities and try to bring others down. I am loving my gray hair and on a healthy lifestyle. We need to lift each other up
As a heart attack/open heart surgery/multiple strokes survivor for 5 years, and having finished radiation therapy last week following surgery in July for breast cancer, I can only applaud your comments. Wish we women would stick together.
I don't know how I got this channel in my feed, I know nothing about you women, but here I am and somehow I am reading your post and I feel for you. Please check out a "carnivore diet". It is the most healing way of eating and cured so many illnesses, incl. everything you've mentioned. Sending healing vibes.
Wishing you a complete recovery. No one leaves this life unscathed but dealing with cancer, as one woman to another, I believe we women need to focus on lifting each other up! Blessings going forward, LadyDoc 🙏
I wish you the best, in your post treatmentt! I finished Chemo latter part of Aug and was in remission for 13 years. I am cancer free, had surgery Oct 1 and begin Radiation soon. We women need all the support, we can get! I've had no family support in my cancer treatment, but their failures will not tip my crown!😊😊😊
This speaks volumes. Thank you for speaking out against women bullies - especially when they hide behind their keyboards. I wish women bullies would turn their jealousy into being inspired, instead. I love your gorgeous dress, hair and style! Subscribed, not that you need anymore - but your video and demeanor resonates with me.
It is because women bitch up on other women that gives men the audacity to treat women like shit!!! Women have to stop, we’re all different and beautiful in each individual way.
I'm 55 and I am sick and tired of women tearing down each other. This is one of the reasons I started my own all-inclusive fashion show that I am producing in December. And I feature every kind of woman there is. Let's stop tearing each other down!
I would love a fashion show like that! It's always hard to imagine how clothes would look on me when I am seeing them on a "pixie" type of figure. Those women of course are very pretty and cute like they are. But I want to know how it would look on my more curvy body. Also how does that fashion concept work on a mature woman? Does it still look elegant, or like I raided someone's dorm closet. LOL so I look forward to your show.
You are right on about women being so judgemental about other women's looks. After my hair turned gray, I got a lot more attention from men and comments that they loved my hair. Don't let others bring you down ladies!!!
My mother died at 57 years old. I am 59 now and when I turned 58, I CELEBRATED!!! As I have gotten older, I also pay less attention to divisive miscreants.
Thank you so much for your advocacy! 55 and recovering from breast cancer treatment, my hair is growing back 100% grey, my eyebrows barely returned and hormone blockers have aged me inside and out by 20 years. Aging fiercely is the only choice I have now and every day is a gift.
You all are beautiful regardless of you skin color, hair loss and wrinkles. It’s what’s inside that is the real beauty. You are fierce strong and very loved ♥️
Woman are under attack as it is, do we really need to tear each other down???!! Together we rise! Love your channel and the movement you're creating!!!!
No, I’d say both. My ex husband used to tell me “you used to look sexy but you just don’t anymore,” “your legs could be better.” “I wish you looked like that girl in the fitness magazine.” “You’re a hairstylist but that doesn’t take much intelligence to become one.” 😫 I’ve also seen many comments from men on women’s Instagram posts saying belittling things about their looks. 😡
@@daphnevoth8706 yes….sadly , women are their very own worst enemies . And obnoxious misogynists absolutely LOVE that women tear each other down bc it enables them to further justify their misogyny . A vicious circle which will never change until women begin to properly support ea other , as fellow women . The ENDLESS endemic, insidious reality shows ( real housewives ; selling sunset ; old tv soaps etc etc … ) further compound this aspect of women being vile towards ea other & reinforce the ‘bit**iness ‘ of women . As a grandparent to v young girls I see this trend still being reinforced ,insidiously , in some of their dramas ….. the stereotype of the mean , b**chy perfect looking girls is STILL being fed to them .. -always pitting girls & teens against ea other . So demeaning and diminishing . The only ones getting rich off this never ending female stereotyping r the billion $$$ cosmetic surgeons, makeup , movies , soc media industries where controlling women’s competitiveness , by insidious stealth , is worse than ever . Plastic unlined faces, bodies , mega wealth and consumerism constantly feed the algorithm of controlling women to be insecure , competitive & ultimately insecure . @@user-hx7mi7ml8u I’m sorry to hear that that’s your experience. I agree that there are toxic men out there. But I think the point here is that there are also toxic women and I do believe that when it comes to posting comments the ones from women bring women down the most. JMO
I'm 70 and have noticed in the last decade or so, that it has become "acceptable" in this youth- worshipping society to insult, denigrate, and stereotype "Boomers" as if we are all defined by the year in which we happened to be born. I am blessed to have beautiful women friends of all ages in my life who choose to spend time with me because of who I am and how I treat them. I, too, will not invite nasty and negative people into my home or my life in person or through social media. Thank you Nikol. I watch you because of posts like this one.
Hi! I'm with you! I, too, am 70. I can't begin to list the ways I have experienced "young" (30-ish and under) women who are THE MOST RUDE people I have EVER met. So, here's my takeaway, too....I'm going to be fine, but these bitches are reducing their lives by YEARS with the stress they carry with this sophomoric crap. While they try so hard to be Kardashians, WE are being simply dashing!! Hugs!
I'm 69 as of yesterday. I have seen this bad behavior become more than acceptable it's almost like when we were kids and used the work like for everything. To them it isn't demeaning. I just inform them without my Boomer ass they would not have a computer or cell phone to spread their virtue signals out.
I agree with you 100%!! Unfortunately, many "Boomers" have created disrespectful and heartless monster's. I thank God that I raised two good men that wouldn't dare do some of things I read, see and hear about.
Nikol, I am a recently retired RN that spent decades taking care of people wearing the same type of scrub for decades. You are my inspiration. I have no idea how to dress, take care of my skin or wear makeup. The little knowledge I have came from you and your positive vibes. You sharing your closet and teaching about investment pieces, caring for skin, and how to skillfully apply make up is the highlight to my week. I often hear successful people stating to not look at the comments and this must be why. I have never understood why women are not kind to women but want to assure you that you are an inspiration to this old grey haired lady💙 if women stood together we would have the power to change the world . Ki
Nikol, I have been dealing with this since my 20s. I had no idea why I was receiving so much negativity and I went on for years, thinking that there was something wrong with me. I won’t go into all of it, but what I have learned over the last several decades is that many women are so jealous of other women that they don’t know any other way to deal with it other than lashing out at them, finding fault, and poking at their imperfections, which we all have. All of us. We all have extraordinary beauty some of us have a thick, gorgeous hair. Some of us have fabulous legs. Some of us are incredible cooks; some of us have voices like angels. We all have something is so intricate and special. God made us all unique. Continue to be fierce! Fiercely strong, beautiful, truthful. Bravo to these women who have courageously shared their stories! And to you for providing platform. Please continue to do so, because we need you so so much.
Possible explanations: " You have no idea what they've been through!" -0I'm afraid many women don't care what others have been through? They have been through tough things aswell- so who cares? Or it's such a good feeling to make someone else feel bad for once? To " pay forward" the bad comments you get yourself or think about yourself? It's the ugly fruit of BITTERNESS and self pitty? Or they think that it's positive and helpful to mention flaws -so they can be dealt with. In case the person didn't know already? Another explanation- not an excuse- could be that because this kind of content is about problems with skin, hair, make-up, aging aso it invites the viewer to reflect on it's own problem areas and automatically the viewer compares itself to the person in the video?( Of course that doesn't mean that you shall write bad comments.) And if 99 things are perfect our brain still notices the one and only thing thats not perfect or bad... no, still not necessary to comment on it. Longtime viwers get the FEELING that they( I) know you personally and that you really want their (my) opinions- good or bad? Sayings that are meant to be constructive criticism are said in an unfortunately offensive way that hurts instead of helps? " I'm just telling the truth." These days we need truth sayers BUT NOT bullying or passive aggressivness! It's obviously NEVER OKEJ to say nasty things- online, or even worse(?), face to face to a person. Some of us - unfortunately but obviously-have weak or no filters to stop the impulses to express an opinion. Online we don't risk much by saying evil stuff. Still- STOP the bad comments!😮 ( Reminding myself too to be avare.)
You are absolutely correct! I am 57, and I remember asking my mom when do girls grow up, and stop being petty and jealous. She said, never, get used to it and surround yourself with friends that mimic the behavior you admire. I tell this to young girls all the time when I’m teaching etiquette classes!❤
Absolutely, I have lost 'friends' over the years, especially when I have been on my own. No invites to join them and their partner for dinner then. You soon find out who your true friends are. If I found myself upset with these women (who never offered me a compliment by the way, and I make a point of complimenting women whenever I get a chance - my husband at the time would say "Look in the mirror sugar." There you go.

These Shallow nasty women need a reality check. No one needs nasty mean people. A personal note. I am a 74 year old woman who just found out I have a serious heart issue. I think I was grateful for my life before and considered a “nice” person but now I enjoy everyone one I meet, everyday’s new sunrise and sunset. Hopefully making every encounter a positive one. I love your kind spirit, your compassionate nature. You uplift your guests. Thankyou
Thank you!! My previous job that I was at for 8 years was filled with women like this. I was miserable. After I was finally able to leave, my family could see a big change in me. Even when I was exhausted, they saw how happy I was. Being around positive people who want to make a difference in the world changed me for the better. We need to look at the world and people around us, see their struggles, and reach out. Stop being so self-centered and it will change your life.
It’s weird, last week one of my favorite fashion channels addressed the same issue. People are envious, and feel powerless in their lives and take it out on others. Sad.
Ma'am I don't know much about you, but for what I can see you are a beautiful classy, caring lady, please don't let these sad jealous individuals bring you down, please keep shining, life is to short.
YOU CAN'T CHANGE RUDE WOMEN THAT ARE UGLY INSIDE&OUT, BOTTOM LINE IS THEY ARE JEALOUS OF YOU. KEEP UP YOUR GOOD WORK BECAUSE YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL INSIDE AND OUT.
As a retired HR Professional I have observed--all bad behavior stems from insecurity. These negative comments come from people with deep insecurities. This is an ideal time for them to look in the mirror and see what they are insecure about. That would allow them to work on themselves - rather than attempt to elevate themselves by tearing others down.
Amen! Those women cannot empower themselves to have empathy, I have lost both my children and have gone through so much loss. No matter what happens to me, there is no reason to be unkind. Thank you for what you do! Plus you encouraged me to go gray. You’re beautiful inside and out.

"I don't mean to be rude BUT I'm going to be...." Would the keyboard warriors say those nasty, cruel things to your face or to your guest's face? Thank you, Nikol for speaking out on this. You are beautiful inside and out. Social media has really allowed the basest, worst behaviours and opinions to figuratively be vomited out everywhere. So disappointing. Yes, aging is challenging some days and I miss my thicker hair, firmer skin, and lower weight from my youth but what's the alternative....I am blessed and so lucky to be given the privilege to age.
The internet and social media has created a whole new type of nasty , negative, rude, narcissistic women. So very sad!! Words of wisdom Nikol - thank you for this video. I am 71 ,been around the block a few times and I think you are phenomenal in everything you do!!

Censorship is a sign of fascism. If you don’t believe that others have a right to express an opinion even if you disagree with them then you are the biggest hypocrite. As a gay man others who don’t live your lifestyle and may not agree with it stood up for you and those like you to have the right to make your choices. You are spot on. I worked in the makeup industry for several years and I have never seen such rudeness and nastiness in my life. Backstabbing etc. These people are totally exhausting.
Nikol, your latest vlog resonates on such a powerful level. As a man, I started watching your channel for something as simple as tips on maintaining my gray hair, but what I found was so much deeper-a space that champions authenticity and courage. Through your videos, you've not only taught me how to embrace my true self in a world that often discourages men from openly expressing their emotions, but you've also opened my eyes to the beauty of lifting others. Your strength in calling out the negativity and cowardice of those who put others down is inspiring. You remind us that true strength and community lies in embracing who we are and supporting those around us, no matter our backgrounds or differences. The wisdom and encouragement you've shared have shown that true empowerment lies in helping everyone feel valued and seen. Watching your content has also helped me support all my friends in their journeys of self-acceptance over the years, and teaching my female friends to embrace styles and choices that highlight their natural beauty and unique qualities as we get older. Your message of self-love, acceptance, and the strength of community is exactly what the world needs. Thank you for being a force for good and for reminding us that self-love goes hand in hand with uplifting others. Most importantly, thank you, Nikol, for leading a movement that transcends gender. You’re not just inspiring women; you’re inspiring men, too. Not everyone has the courage to change the world, but you are doing just that, one vlog at a time. Keep being the inspiring light that you are.
I follow Mike Tyson's advice, "Social media made y'all way too comfortable with disrespecting people and not getting punched in the face for it”. very good advice. Stop being mean. I love your channel. I'm 62 and still need advice on makeup.
As someone who was literally punched in the face recently (age 57), by a woman, I hate this comment. People thinking the act of violence is justified over words! NO NO NO!!! Having an opinion that is contrary to one’s own opinion or belief structure requires peace not violence. People are offended all the time and social media is a mass produced social gathering so as such there will be differences. Half of our entire country wants to punch the other half in the face at this very moment in time due to prejudice, religion, competition and politics.
Hell, I am 67 and jyst discovering the joy and fun of makeup. I was always just too damn tired and unhappy before. Making up to be miserable at work didn't enter the thought process.
Nikol, I'm almost 83 and this has been going on forever! Just ask your mom. Nasty, mean girls in school....I graduated from H.S. in 1959 and let me tell you, those girls were beyond treacherous. Block and ignore those miserable creatures. Love you.
yes , has been going on for many years. It is just now, people have the ability to express their jealousy in disguise. And it crosses all socio-economic groups, poor women, rich women, middle class women.... the common denominator is women
Shame on these women who do this! Thank you Nikol for speaking this truth❤️I grew up with parents who never gave me any compliments Instead, when a someone would mention that I was beautiful, they would respond by telling them “ don’t tell her that!” I still struggle with self esteem issues at 65 and it only takes one comment or a weird look from someone to affect me! I often have to remind myself that growing old is a gift and true beauty shines from within❤️ It’s your platform that helps women realize that with a little self care and some simple makeup techniques can enhance anyone’s beauty. Your caring ways are a blessing❤️
Darling, you are doing us a beautiful service. I live in Scottsdale,AZ. I know many of the woman “who lunch” vile, mean spirited and jealous. They are focused on money, plastic surgery, who is fat who is too young, who is cheating on husbands etc. I did the lunch thing for about a month when we moved here in 2000. I was so depressed until I realized the petty twits were the cause. Now, I donate time at the hospice and go where I can do good. You are a real inspiration to all of us who are doing good. Thank you! J L
Retired nurse, the last 10 years of my nursing vocation, I worked in hospice. It was such a rich increased my spiritual, prayerful life. People would ask, how could I work with people who were dying, and I would say, "How could you not be with those dying....think of the Gospel of the Sermon on the Mount. It sure does put your life in perspective! All I can say to you, Nikol is; AMEN AMEN AMEN, SISTER ❤
There are many career woman that are like this too. Just vile, judgmental unkind women. They are everywhere not only ladies that lunch. Sometimes at 64 I feel like I’m back in middle school with the mean girl coming at me all over again.
Scottsdale is a mecca of that kind of sparky women. I lived in AZ for 40 years and in Snottsdale for 35, there are also good , kind women around as well but the competitive nature of the wealthy there make it pretty tedious with the bitchy snobs.
Nikol, You are spot on and I thank you for speaking up. I have been on this planet 74 years and continue to run into women who are small-minded, petty, etc. I recently began attending a men/women gathering with my husband; 2nd time this past Friday. I commented to my husband after the gathering that the men are FAR more gracious and welcoming than the women, and explained this is why I have all but stopped attending these types of events. All of us remember and know how it was growing up, particularly in Junior High and High School: Cliques, mean girls, in-girls/out-girls. I’m here to tell you these behaviors remain in existence in 2024. I simply wish it would stop because I am sick of it! Nikol, keep on putting out your love, light and beauty into a world that badly needs it.
I'm glad to see it's not just me. I used to think something was wrong with me as I was growing up, but even now I tend to avoid groups. In my current location, I have tried to join church groups, volunteer, etc., While I didn't encounter full on rudeness, it was as if the women were looking down their noses at me, indifferent as if they didn't care if I was present or not, and so I decided no problem, I'm out. Jealousy is a terrible thing, Just ignore them.

Oh I love this.❤
Nikol, I have been dealing with this since my 20s.
Possible explanations:
" You have no idea what they've been through!"
-0I'm afraid many women don't care what others have been through?
They have been through tough things aswell- so who cares?
Or it's such a good feeling to make someone else feel bad for once? To " pay forward" the bad comments you get yourself or think about yourself?
It's the ugly fruit of BITTERNESS and self pitty?
Or they think that it's positive and helpful to mention flaws -so they can be dealt with. In case the person didn't know already?
Another explanation- not an excuse- could be that because this kind of content is about problems with skin, hair, make-up, aging aso it invites the viewer to reflect on it's own problem areas and automatically the viewer compares itself to the person in the video?( Of course that doesn't mean that you shall write bad comments.)
And if 99 things are perfect our brain still notices the one and only thing thats not perfect or bad... no, still not necessary to comment on it.
Longtime viwers get the FEELING that they( I) know you personally and that you really want their (my) opinions- good or bad? Sayings that are meant to be constructive criticism are said in an unfortunately offensive way that hurts instead of helps?
" I'm just telling the truth."
These days we need truth sayers BUT NOT bullying or passive aggressivness!
It's obviously NEVER OKEJ to say nasty things- online, or even worse(?), face to face to a person.
Some of us - unfortunately but obviously-have weak or no filters to stop the impulses to express an opinion.
Online we don't risk much by saying evil stuff.
Still- STOP the bad comments!😮
( Reminding myself too to be avare.)
Thank you for speaking 🗣️ out. Love this. ❤. Keep sharing.
Thank you! I am 71 years old First Grade teacher… I am in the process of letting my natural hair color shine through… students like my NEW hair color… “salt & pepper is groovy” they often tell me, children tell the truth ✌🏽
I embraced my silver vixen look from the age of 49.
Thankyou
Thanks for speaking out Nikol!!!
Be beautiful in and out woman!
I like your analogy about guests at a party. Spot on!
You are the 4th person I subscribe to that has said this this week! Life is short…be kind!!
Wow!
Strong women build each other up, bless you for having a platform for these women.
YOU CAN'T CHANGE RUDE WOMEN THAT ARE UGLY INSIDE&OUT, BOTTOM LINE IS THEY ARE JEALOUS OF YOU. KEEP UP YOUR GOOD WORK BECAUSE YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL INSIDE AND OUT.
You are very wrong
1 not about been rude
2 about telling the truth
3 if they do not like then that is up to them
@@tonitant6171 sadly beautiful women can sometimes be insecure. I’ve learned confidence comes from the inside
My dear father in law, retired minister. His advice has always been smile and know your own worth. We are all unique miracles of life.
I don’t think that it will ever stop. I sadly think it will only get worse and it’s honestly scaring me
Amen! They won’t stop. They enjoy being what they are. BLOCK THEM! Keep the faith, stay the course!
I agree. Don't delete them, block them.
yes indeed
Thanks for speaking up Nikol. We are ALL beautiful women!!
Thanks! Agreed!
You’re beautiful inside and out.
hey there when did you dye your hair? did you do it yourself or go to the salon
It seems we have lost our sense of common decency and don't show kindness any longer. I feel so bad that you have been on the receiving end of such unkind remarks especially from women. Yours is a 2:35 message of hope and you lift women up and remind us we can still be beautiful no matter what our age. Don't waste your time on the haters. Your kind soul shines through. Blessings to you always 🎀
YES! Women supporting women is why I seek out your channel. Continue the positive message. Sending love to all women
Thank you for your support - I appreciate it!
Yes! And let's send extra love to the catty ones. I think they were short-changed in that department. Bless their hearts 💕
Thank you for being so honest, so truthful in being who you are and what you believe is TURE and NOT accepting the cruelty of others~!~~ You just made my day!
It is so sad that so many women have lost compassion for other women. It is heart breaking to see it. When it is all said and done what is important is love and compassion. It starts with each of us. Thank you Nikol for speaking up. I am 70 years old and served in the Army and spent the rest of my working life as a Special Education teacher where I learned what life is all about. Keep speaking for us who get it.
Thank you for sharing, life is so short! I feel it's about leaving the room/world/meeting/dinner a better place with the best energy. Thank you for your service! xoxo

Yes…some would say it in person. It’s unfortunate but there are some seriously mean people in the world.
The internet and social media has created a whole new type of nasty , negative, rude, narcissistic women. So very sad!! Words of wisdom Nikol - thank you for this video. I am 71 ,been around the block a few times and I think you are phenomenal in everything you do!!
Thank you
Social media has created so many narcissists
I agree Nichole is phenomenal and I am 67!
You are so right Nikol! Thank you for speaking out! I block these people instantly..
People can be rude it's like they come in the comments to unload all their evil. Don't let it get you down. Your videos are extra spectacular!!!
Thank you for speaking out! I’m 69 and I’m not dead yet but I’m also not 25 years old. Love the dress. Thanks
We all need get to been house wifes do what your husband tells you and keep mouth closed
Nikol, we are totally with you!
Ok, I’m a gay man, but women giving other women a hard time? What happened to sisterhood?
We love you and I’m sorry, that your guests, have to put up with this.
If you have nothing nice to say, say nothing ladies!
Censorship is a sign of fascism. If you don’t believe that others have a right to express an opinion even if you disagree with them then you are the biggest hypocrite. As a gay man others who don’t live your lifestyle and may not agree with it stood up for you and those like you to have the right to make your choices. I’m tired of your community lecturing others about what their own rights and choices should be. Shame on you.

Brava Nikole! ❤ I come to your place mostly for skin care and make-up advice, not for Life advice; But! I am so grateful to hear you taking this stand. Good on you! I want to join your uplifting party🎉
You are spot on. I worked in the makeup industry for several years and I have never seen such rudeness and nastiness in my life. Backstabbing etc. These people are totally exhausting.
Exhausting protect your energy by removing yourself from these people.
Great to hear that men value this space also! Have a beautiful day!!
I follow Mike Tyson's advice, "Social media made y'all way too comfortable with disrespecting people and not getting punched in the face for it”. very good advice. Stop being mean. I love your channel. I'm 62 and still need advice on makeup.
Love that 😄
As someone who was literally punched in the face recently (age 57), by a woman, I hate this comment.
@@Rquilter1962 I’m with Mike😇
Exactly!
“Miserable creatures”- that’s perfect! It’s what they are! They were still around in ‘70 too😂😂😂!
You are so right I'm 83 and graduated in 59 too. Yes we had those mean girls who made fun of others. I think this will always be the case.
@@lankenaugirl true but today it has escalated to such an enormous level that it is deafening! Totally unacceptable and unnecessary.
Thank you! J L
thank you for sharing what a wonderful gift to be a hospice volunteer! Not easy but so rewarding to both you and the families. xoxo
At this time in my life, I am only on good terms with one person, my roommate - another lady who has had her share of nasty jealousy thrown in her direction over the years. I'm over it all. You are right about men being more gracious but still here where I am, most don't go out of their way to be welcoming and it could be because the hens rule the roosts.
A point: do these men all have their own jobs? their own money? are they SEEN as having value? Are the women mainly accessories to the men? Please ask yourselves these questions about the toxic messages being sent throughout our society
@@LivLovePray-f5oI did the same thing after I retired. I immersed myself in church activities, volunteering, and some civic activities. And oh my!!! What a rude awakening how petty women are! I felt like I was always doing something wrong. Just recently gave it all up. Started harp lessons. My own investment in something worth while instead of trying to please busybody women.
@@judithholder2537 women are usually worse than men. At least in an emotional way. Women are usually the 'catty', hateful, and emotionally manipulative ones, much more often than men are. Men are more logical, less emotional.

You're so right as I've gotten older people are not so kind to older women it saddens me. Thank you for being the voice on positive vibes.
🎉🎉❤ the thing is... you're 100% accurate.
Your frustration is clearly evident in your delivery. Unfortunately the women who need to hear you won't listen. Small minds will seek out whatever opportunities to speak their nonsense. You continue to empower just exactly as you always have. Those who understand your misson will continue to stand behind you and applaud your efforts!!😊
It's OK if the women who need to hear it are emotionally unavailable. The issue needs to be addressed because it keeps all of us, including myself, in check. Be kind, be accepting, be open to understanding where people are coming from.
