One thing that kinda gets on my nerves is when the bad guys keep asking Asura why he's so powerful, and what drives his rage. Gee, I don't know, maybe the fact that you killed his wife, kidnapped his daughter, framed him for a murder he didn't commit, and topped it off by killing him? That might have something to do with it
That isn't the full scope of his rage. Sure, that's what gets him angry enough to keep fighting the Seven, but there's a deeper seated rage at the misuse of power to ruin and destroy lives. Asura's wrath for the respect less and depraved leadership he's seen for most of his life is why he's always been so strong, even before his family and well before they were taken from him. That just added onto it, but it's what gives him enough power to beat Chakravartin too, because that God is the literal personification of everything Asura hates.

I did like the details.. despite being insane and berserk he actually took his time to Listen To Sergei and Yasha conversation and after he heard Yasha admit He Knew who murdered His Sister/Asura Wife Is rhe reason Why He Took his Hatred out on Yasha after he killed Sergei.. because Yasha betrayed Asura, His Sister, and His niece. There's no way a Insane Berserker would take their time to listen to a conversation.. it's very clear that Asura wanted to find out who killed his wife.. which is why he did not kill Sergei immediately and Allowed the conversation to drag out until he discovered Yasha Knew Sergei Evil Deed Whole Time but Did Nothing.... it's very telling considering Asura snapped after the conversation ended With Sergei Laughing at Yasha blind obedience.
This game was amazing and HEAVILY underrated. I only wish we could've played as Beserker Asura (not including when he initially transformed and shot down all of those air crafts).
Same here. But if I would like to add one thing to amp up the urgency to end the fight, the health bar slowly depleats. Because if playing as Berserker Asura, we would be nearly unstoppable but the mantra in Asura's body would begin to destroy him

It is said in the game that Augus did not agree with Deus' great rebirth and didn't give a fuck about their big plans in general. He didn't betray Asura and probably didn't know about it until later. Would he have stopped them? Augus was as strong as Deus and could probably have held back most of them by himself. Together with Asura they could have won.
Augus was fighting gohmas as he always had. Until he found out What happened to asura which resulted in the moment he unleashed his sword against Deus as mentioned before

Calling Asura a "more likeable Kratos" is deranged. I played this game. I enjoyed this game. That's why I'm here watching clips from it. This game is the definition of mid. Not in the perjorative new way people use it where they just mean "bad." I mean solid 6/10, playable, fun, but ultimately mediocre. Flashy and exciting, but equally one-note and repetitive. And that's fine! But you are smoking some wild shit if you're calling it a masterpiece, and on some wilder shit if you're calling for a remaster for a game whose greatest strength is that it visually and sonically still holds up 12 years later and whose mechanics are so rudimentary as to need no adjustment. Put it on the online store and call it a day.

Yasha didn't kill Asura's wife but he didn't defended her and he knew that someone's have to kill her
well, to be fair, asura was being tested by the master of the universe so he definetly got help from him
Also the fact that Yasha (his brother-in-law) was well aware about the plan and instead of opposing it he decided to go along with the plan
