Dante was not in the 2003 edition of Nocturne. He came through the Maniax edition, released in 2004, which was the standard edition for the west.

I love Dante's sprite in Project X Zone.
i think dmc 3 has the most influence compared to all version of dante, not only the gameplay changed to be more combo and aerial combo based, but dante personality changed to be more fun guy as well since then, it feels like all current dmc game is actually based on dmc 3 rather than dmc 1 or 2, and on top of that dmc 3 has vergil (not angelo) who suddenly become popular dmc character
btw i realize in other game they always use ebony ivory as dante ultimate attack, i think it would be cool if dante have like ultimate attack which used lot of meters like judgement cut end but using ebony ivory instead lol
In my opinion the personality change was a mistake. The point of DMC 3 is being a prequel to DMC 1, and Dante matures throughout the story. Yet in DMC 4, we have DMC 3 Dante again

Dante has been in way more video games than I thought.
During the release and hype of DMC5, Dante had a special cross-over appearance in Dx2 Liberator, a mobile gacha-style RPG, and players were able to earn him as a reward for completing the special event missions.

Donte is a skin to Dante in this game, and when he got into DT with the Donte skin he got in the DiNO's DT, but regular Dante still has his regular DT.

i love the style ranking system in 3 more. It's very strict. it forces you to really style your combo.
Man 3 does just about everything fantastic save for the style switching mode. I really don't like having to mash swap weapon just to get back to the weapon that I was just at and as far as I can tell I can't unequip any weapons like in 5

Dante from the Devil May Cry series was an legendary Demon Hunter and teamed up with his own twin brother Vergil.
Dmc-1 will always be the best, an accident that turned out to be a gem! The rest still try to capture the magic but all fail sadly.
