It's people like you that are so willing to help others, that makes this country and this world a better place. Thank you sir, for your knowledge and willingness to help other people who cannot afford to run out and buy new things all the time. I'd much rather take care of the things I already have. You helped me with my washer today whether you know it or not, as it overflowed all over my basement. It's Christmas day and you just gave me a fantastic present. God bless you and your family!

Holy Crap! This worked!! Our washing machine decided to overflow after multiple loads today. I happened to catch it as water was running across the laundry room floor. Shut off and drained the washer and threw every towel we had on the floor. Then drove to one of our parent's house for a shop vac and I found this video on the way. We tried it and it worked! We checked it on each fill level and good each time. We'll be watching the thing like a hawk from now on but thanks for saving us a replacement part/repair for the moment!

Thanks for the great video! When I reassembled the washer after changing the capacitor I accidentally pinched this tube with part of the washer frame and all I had to do was open it up, re-align the tube you showed here and tighten the screws back together. Thanks for confirming my suspicions that this part was the source of my overfilling problem!

Opened the top of the machine, I blew air into that hose and that other switch, put it back together , put a load of clothes in and bam it started working like normal. Thanks I wanted to show how easy it was to replace, give a little theory on how it works and demonstrate how easy of a fix it actually is and regardless of the brand all washing machines in this category basically work just like this. Now there are fancier water saving washers with dual levels and stuff with water diversion to circulate the water and use less of it. Thanks fer watchin. PawPaw the retired appliance parts monkey :D

Dont forget to check the end of the hose. Take the shell off, follow the hose, make sure it isn't clogged, and make sure it's on tight. If it looks dirty at the end ir stretched, snip a small piece off the end, and plug the hose in
