Wrote Jujutsu Kaisen in Shonen Jump in March 2018 to present. Hidden Inventory/Premature Death were written from July 2019 to October.
"I don't want her to assimilate with Tengen" well, Toji Fushiguro heard you and came to deliver. And, yeah, seeing Gojo get absolutely BODIED like that is CRAZY. It's so unexpected, and Toji is such a beast. It's insane. Toji's just built different, y'know? About Geto, it really is very tragic that he became what we see later. I won't go into any details, of course, but it'll make sense. And this arc is what made Geto one of my absolute favourite characters in JJK, it's SO good (and devastating). And yes, you are correct, Sam, this arc is only 5 episodes. Then we'll have 3 weeks of break and then, on August 31st, the Shibuya Incident begins, which will last until the end of the season. About the 0 cursed energy thing: all humans, except for Maki and Toji, have cursed energy. What differs jujutsu sorcerers from regular humans is that sorcerers can control their CE and regular humans cannot. Maki and Toji, however, are heavenly restricted, which means that a binding vow was forced in them at birth, like Kokichi Muta (Mechamaru). In Maki and Toji's case, they have 0 cursed energy, which makes their bodies much more capable than regular humans' bodies. You might be thinking "well, Maki is clearly not the same as Toji", and you're right, and we'll get to it. Not now, though
I love how you think immediately about Shoko when Gojo was injured, thank you to remember she can do that! I love when people appreciate and know about her technique! Amazing reaction girls as always ❤
I really like the subtle detail they put in on Gojo's eye, like it glows when he's using it and it doesn't when he's not using it. I dont know if they did on S1 but I just noticed it in this episode. It’s a real cool aesthetic
I don't think we've ever seen his eyes not glowing on S1 and I assume this is why and that the blindfold is so that people can't see when he's not using it (though that begs the question how is he able to see through the blindfold).
Present day Gojo is waay stronger than he was here. He doesn't have to put effort into keeping his infinity up anymore because he basically has unlimited cursed energy after he was 'awakened'. During this Arc it takes a lot of energy for him to use his techniques which is why he drops it when he thinks he's safe.
Toji is the reason Gojo and Geto became who they are Man literally transformed them and the JJK world, Pure GOAT energy For those who hate him is understandable, but Gojo respects one guy and that is TOJI spoiler He even wore Toji clothes when he went to fight Sukuna
Toji is a genius, he knew everything he had to do to be able to defeat Gojo, stabbing him from the back with no cursed energy weapon right when Gojo let his guard down, making him believe that he only got stabbed because he let his guard down and didn't have the infinity barrier by saying "I knew you wouldn't release your technique until the very end", forcing Gojo to go full defensive mode with the infinity barrirer in the end because he knew that Gojo had insane intuition and the six eyes, so he would notice Toji's presence and would also notice that blade with cursed energy, but that's what Toji wanted, cause he had a way to deal with Gojo infinity barrier
"Have we met before?" Even though it was only for an instant when he was a child, Gojo still partially remembered Toji from that moment he noticed Toji watching him.
Toji has a heavenly pact just like Maki's, and both of them mention they need to get their edge so they can battle better, besides both of them being Zenin!
yeah 20:42 i agree & i feel like geto lost his mind or something must to happened that made him snap thinking both Gojo & riko died so maybe that's what pushed him over the edge even more bc with that extreme nice personality sometimes people can become extremely evil if not checking in on their mental health y'know. great reaction ladies!
But Gojo is still the most powerful combatant. Toji had to legitimately arrange the whole board to get a chance of getting a hit on Gojo. In a straight forward fight Gojo would win, even Toji admits this.
Gojo fans ain't getting no reality check fam we are literally about to be fed a delicious meal next week with the greatest comeback of all time in anime. Toji blew up a 3-1 lead unfortunately
Toji was so important to JJK for 2 main reasons - He was the reason Gojo got humbled .... if he remained this cocky during the current events of JJK, he could have been a tyrant - He was the catalyst that made Geto change his philosophies and realize than only the strong can survive, and eventually becomes a villain
@Souchi-ito gojo did fail to protect riko but in the grand scheme of things, it didn't matter since there was another star plasma vessel. Toji did still get bodied though
This is Daddy Fushiguro, guys! He & Maki both are Zenin failures since Toji absolutely don't has any Cursed energy at all but Maki has it just a tiny amount, nether they have any kind of Cursed techniques. They're almost same as regular humans but with more physical strength. And still they are able to keep up with the strong sorcerers
I think you guys missed it but Toji has a heavenly pact that in exchange of not having any cursed energy he gets superhuman phisical abilites, and if you remember Maki has the same thing but she's waaaaaaaayyy weaker than Toji, that's why she was called a failure because without cursed energy she's useless against curses therefore both Toji and Maki need to use cursed tools to fight curses.
@@行動派-c7p I didn't know that but that actually makes sense, although i'm very surprised that Toji was considered a failure because man yeah he needs the curse tools but i'm pretty sure that he could take on very strong curses by himself no problem

I’m glad now anime onlys can suffer with manga readers now so we’re not all alone 🥲 yeah Riko’s death breaks my heart every goddamn time. And Toji really all about that bag because he listened to that ENTIRE monologue and still decided to kill her. And what’s so crazy too is that the main timeline you don’t really get any idea of who Megumi’s father is other than that he’s a deadbeat dad until this arc where he literally reshapes the Jujutsu world (which you’ll find out more of how later but you could probably put the pieces together but one them is definitely Geto’s slowly turning into evil) like goddamn THAT’S Megumi’s daddy. Now next episode will be peak writing and more than likely animation and that coupled with this episode is twin peak basically (not a reference to the show just the implication of being together). Awesome stuff as always can’t wait for everyone’s hearts to be broken even more lol
¡¡Hey girls, as always nice reaction!! This mini arc is very important (especially Riko's fucked up death 😭+ Toji's existence) because is the turning point for GOJO, GETO and THE SORCERY WORLD. A lot of stuff will be explain nevertheless you'll have to put every single minor details together from S1 and JJK0 to make sense of it. JJK world is not beautiful and fair (Nanami said that Jujutsu Sorcerers are shit, and most of the characters are victims of that world). FROM HERE ON OUT THERE IS NO PLOT ARMOR FOR ANY CHARACTER...BE READY.
😂😂😂This is the best episode to watch people react to! Between Gojo getting bodied and Riko's sudden death lol Toji will forever remain the GOAT. The situation was tragic, but a necessary evil for Gojo to obtain enlightenment - both of his CT and his ideology of those weaker than him. Because of Toji and the cult, Geto was (unfortunately) pushed to the brink of his sanity. These events kickstarted Gojo's passion to reform Jujutsu society and changed his views towards those weaker than him. I love Toji's character for many reasons to be explained in the future, but he easily earned my respect with these feats, alone.
Poor sweet Riko…the moment she realised that she wants to live and continue to be with everyone, she dies. Her death was one of the most heartbreaking experiences I had. Her death had major impact on Gojo and Geto going forward.
Lets go toji fushigoro!!!! This is why this show is great.. We see the bad side and good side each gets Ws!!! JJK goated for this!!!!!!! This why HxH so good as well..
Love the directorial choices. The happy song when they were at the beach but abruptly cut when they showed the episode title, leaving us confused and kinda shock...which best describes the content of the episode itself. Happiness only to be brutally snatched away in an instant. Welp donwhill from here. Geto's turning point. Imagine seeing a girl you're supposed to protect die in front of you and hearing your best friend get killed by this guy all at the same time 🥲 poor Geto. Next ep is gonna be crazy.
I love Toji bcs he doesn’t need any Cursed energy. Just Physically gifted through the Heavenly restrictions and that alone is cool. We need a standalone story about him
i feel like gojo at this point has never killed anyone, when he said "i failed, i thought i could do it this time" i think he could do the cursed reversal Red i just dont think he ever use it cause it could kill someone. Cause in season one he was gonna kill coatrack dude straight up, a lesson toji probably taught him lol
if it weren't for toji, gojo would've remained the same and wouldn't have jjk runnin (a spoiler i guess) gojo learned the reverse cursed technique and hollow purple because of toji. bro wouldn't have been the strongest if gojo wasn't humbled by him
Rikos death was one of the biggest reason for geto becoming what he is in JJK Zero not the curses he ate, he was traumatised, he conviced himself that he was too weak to protect her even tho it wasn't really true, it was just that the opponent was too strong (Toji). =========== Spoilers ============== And after when gojo defeates toji he was regretful and felt pathetic. Her death was the turning point for getos ideology, he still was skeptical before but after her death he was sure, he was to weak, to soft, and began to belive "monkeys" shouldn't exist. But he never broke his principales, he always prioritised his friends and family before himself, he was undeed a better person that gojo ======= ok ==================
Really great reaction. I didnt read the manga but I wouldnt be surprised if this is what causes Geto to snap. Seeing Rika getting shot right in front of him, believing his best friend just got killed. Anyone would snap at that point. Toji's a non-curse user so I wouldnt be surprised if he started to hate all non-curse users
Two association in this event. Group Q - the group of sorcerers wants to take over jujutsu worlds by having tengen. Star religious group - non sorcerers that worship tengen that dont want to merge with star plasma vessel believing thats impurity. Thats why they hire people to kill SPV. I believe these things are not mention in this episodes.
It was mentioned by Yaga in episode 1, and Q were disbanded right after geto and gojo wiped the floor with their 2 top guys as it was said in episode 2, so idk why they thought Q kidnapped kuroi when she herself said it was by non-sorcerers of the star religious group which is why she was ashamed of being captured xD
I dont understand people who start to hate toji this episode, since ep 1 it was clear he was here to kill riko since its his job and when he does yall are surprised? What did you expect him to do? Have a change of heart like his some naruto villain?
There are plenty of villains/antagonists that fail in completing their job. In fact, most do. Hearing someone say they’ll do something is different to actually seeing it. Not to mention that in present day, we know gojo is alive and well, and that tengen’s barriers still exist. Based on the stakes established, it would be expected that fushiguro wouldn’t be able to successfully carry out his mission. You’re only saying this because you know what happens
You can see Toji's mimics on Maki's face or other way around. Especially when Maki was fighting that light blue haired girl, Miwa. Also they both don't like being called Zen'in.
well I recall that almost all of the Zen'in clan members makes those kind of crazed face when they are in battle, I recall that Naobito, Naoya and Megumi also goes frenzied smile when they're battling or excited.
Honestly I think toji is cooler. He can’t do cursed technique or domain expansion but found a way to beat the strongest most naturally talented sorcerer with strategy. You have to respect that
Fun fact The encounter’s season between young Gojo and Toji was changed to winter, and the OG scene in the manga is made more clear in that it was OUTSIDE, not inside the Gojo clan’s household
Do you remember that Chainsaw Man episode where Makima was shot in the head and she just said sike and she was back? Well, Gojo's built like that. Just give him some Tylenol and he'll be back up and running.
OK i have a question, do people with enough curse energy to see curses on a daily basis are considered curse users? Because Riko and the Maid can see Curses and Geto called Maki "a Monkey" like normal people because she couldn't.
basically everyone has cursed energy (except toji, maki has some but not enough to be a sorcerer). If you don't have enough cursed energy to see curses Adult Geto would consider you a monkey
It's not sure! He could've called Maki a Monke because she is like Toji and he hates him, if i remember well Toji refered to himself as a monke in front of Geto. He wants a world for Jujutsu sorcerer, and Gojo pointed out in the movie that he knew that Geto wouldn't kill the kids maybe he saw her as a sorcerer too but hate her regardless because of Toji

Toji just came to the verse and told the strongest they ain't allat 😭💯
I think this arc is doing a great job at preparing the audience for how brutal the Shibuya Incident arc will be, and the more important fights throughout the series.

Bro, Toji walked in like he was taking over Geto shift LOL, “you’re free to go now”. That shit was funny
MANGA SPOILER
I think the reason that his eyes are always glowing as an adult is because he’s always got his infinity up unlike here.
@@Virgil_Hawkins Correct
@@Triatttin season 1 he had it active all the time, the reason he uses a blindfold is so he couldnt see with his six eyes
Laughed so hard at "they're having a handsome-off". Too accurate
Nanami is in the opening guys!.
They were overlooking the poor man🤣😂
Toji is the reason Gojo and Geto became who they are
Man literally transformed them and the JJK world, Pure GOAT energy
For those who hate him is understandable, but Gojo respects one guy and that is TOJI

He even wore Toji clothes when he went to fight Sukuna
Toji is the GOAT.

I´m glad Maki is basically a reincarnation of Toji now, i can´t wait to see her Itachi Uchiha the whole Zenin clan

the one keeping the zenin clan in check even tho he has 0 curse energy?
I've catch up with the manga, but why u feel the need to tell he wears Toji fit in this comment section tho
THAT IS AN INSANE SPOILER
Cringe spoiler, lmao loser.
RIP Gojo, I wish to see more of him
Facts, he was taken way too soon.
RIP gone too soon 😢
Toji was so fvckin insane 🔥🔥🔥
Toji was brutal bro
Moral Kombat shit
Man was cast out of his own clan cause he had 0 curse energy but is still stronger than all of them
@@ibrahimsurti4922
He actually left himself, he was respected by naobito and was his rival in becoming the head of the clan.
@@ibrahimsurti4922The higher ups of the Zen'in respected him and some even idolized him, but he was still mistreated due to his Cursed Energy.
18:19, amanai death scene always give me goosebumps.🗿
"Have we met before?" Even though it was only for an instant when he was a child, Gojo still partially remembered Toji from that moment he noticed Toji watching him.
Toji has a heavenly pact just like Maki's, and both of them mention they need to get their edge so they can battle better, besides both of them being Zenin!
Nobody Seems to Remember What happened to Geto at End of the Movie
Toji "piece em up" Fushiguro strikes again
The PTSD to play the ending song for THAT scene. And then again at the ending. Like… “remember how she just got blasted in the middle of this song? “

we have seen the curse Toji uses before...Geto uses it to pull out Playful Cloud against Yuta in JJK 0
yeah 20:42 i agree & i feel like geto lost his mind or something must to happened that made him snap thinking both Gojo & riko died so maybe that's what pushed him over the edge even more bc with that extreme nice personality sometimes people can become extremely evil if not checking in on their mental health y'know. great reaction ladies!
I love Toji just rewriting everything we know about who's the most powerful -sorcerer- combatant at this point. He straight up destroyed Gojo.
But Gojo is still the most powerful combatant. Toji had to legitimately arrange the whole board to get a chance of getting a hit on Gojo. In a straight forward fight Gojo would win, even Toji admits this.
I’m not a manga reader but this has to be the catalyst of what sets Geto off to a dark path
Toji is just THAT guy and gave a reality check to the Gojo fans because Toji gets the job done!
Gojo fans ain't getting no reality check fam we are literally about to be fed a delicious meal next week with the greatest comeback of all time in anime. Toji blew up a 3-1 lead unfortunately
@@boboyo3140we will see Tojis Apple Logo
@@boboyo3140 This episode they did they saw Gojo like we never saw him.
nah, just letting toji fans have their moment because its gonna be ugly next ep 😂
No match for him who released his power
Toji was so important to JJK for 2 main reasons
- He was the reason Gojo got humbled .... if he remained this cocky during the current events of JJK, he could have been a tyrant
- He was the catalyst that made Geto change his philosophies and realize than only the strong can survive, and eventually becomes a villain
@@johntaylor7354 i feel like He's more confident than straight up cocky, he alos changed his ideologies and became more helpful to non-sorcerers
@@johntaylor7354 Jogo is a curse
Toji maybe a villain but yeah he is 6'2 muscular badass who bodied the strongest character in the story and got the job done. He is villain who won.
For 5 mins anyway and then gets easily bodied
@@whydoihavesubs6644no he still won. Gojo failed to protect Riko and Toji won by killing her. He finished his job whereas gojo failed.
@Souchi-ito gojo did fail to protect riko but in the grand scheme of things, it didn't matter since there was another star plasma vessel. Toji did still get bodied though
Whats great about Toji is he’s legit just an evil bum💀. No attempt at drawing sympathy for him he’s just a bum that kicks ass
Toji is the literal definition of:
"Oh I'm sorry… I didn't care."
Nah he didn’t bring back Yuuji to Shoko to revive him just to check his body kinda like a post mortem
Toji also called a failure in Zenin clan
@@行動派-c7p I didn't know that but that actually makes sense, although i'm very surprised that Toji was considered a failure because man yeah he needs the curse tools but i'm pretty sure that he could take on very strong curses by himself no problem
@@bolt2134
Tbh after toji grew up he was actually respected by the head of the clan, the only reason toji wasn't chosen as the next head instead of naobito is because without a cursed tool he is useless against curses.
@@knightofthelake8112 Although it sucks for Toji i can't deny that it makes sense
Toji have 0 of cursed energy , maki have a little few but in theory toji is the only human of have 0 of cursed energy
Toji literally got put on my top 5 anime characters
G.O.A.T 🔥
I can’t wait for people to see Gojo go through real stuff later.
LOL! Morgan looked like she wanted to punch something after the episode ended
Geto and Riko-chan: *having a heartfelt moment*
Toji: ............. So anyway I started blasting :D
I love Toji's character for many reasons to be explained in the future, but he easily earned my respect with these feats, alone.
toji is literally batman
Poor sweet Riko…the moment she realised that she wants to live and continue to be with everyone, she dies. Her death was one of the most heartbreaking experiences I had. Her death had major impact on Gojo and Geto going forward.
Choko isn't fighting because she is 1 of only 3 ppl who have the reverse technique, meaning she's too valuable to be put on dangerous missions.
Shoko dont go on missions because her value is too important to be put at risk.
And because Shoko Ieiri literally can't fight.
@@WOCKHARDT-ry8zkwell to be honest, when you have Gojo and Geto on your team, there is no need for you to fight.
Toji was the only reason I decided to watch jujutsu kaisen
Lets go toji fushigoro!!!! This is why this show is great.. We see the bad side and good side each gets Ws!!! JJK goated for this!!!!!!! This why HxH so good as well..

12:09 so true lol
19:19 and thats when you knew the season would be heavy-
Love the directorial choices.
We need a standalone story about him
Oh, You think this is painful, just wait for Shibiya arc.
I SWEAR 5 MINUTES AGO I WAS THINKING ABOUT YOU GUYSSS HAHA, I was like “when will their reaction come?”, I guess I summoned you😭❤
knife negates curse techniques.. so it negated infinity around gojo. 👍
Me seeing them write Haibara name to remember him: 👀👀
Toji so dope bro didn't give a f about plot armour straight up nailed two strongest characters but then author remembered who is needed for plot.
i feel like gojo at this point has never killed anyone, when he said "i failed, i thought i could do it this time" i think he could do the cursed reversal Red i just dont think he ever use it cause it could kill someone. Cause in season one he was gonna kill coatrack dude straight up, a lesson toji probably taught him lol
if it weren't for toji, gojo would've remained the same and wouldn't have jjk runnin
(a spoiler i guess)
gojo learned the reverse cursed technique and hollow purple because of toji. bro wouldn't have been the strongest if gojo wasn't humbled by him
I’m surprised ppl don’t bring up the physical differences geto has between now and season 1
Rikos death was one of the biggest reason for geto becoming what he is in JJK Zero not the curses he ate, he was traumatised, he conviced himself that he was too weak to protect her even tho it wasn't really true, it was just that the opponent was too strong (Toji).
=========== Spoilers ==============
And after when gojo defeates toji he was regretful and felt pathetic.
Her death was the turning point for getos ideology, he still was skeptical before but after her death he was sure, he was to weak, to soft, and began to belive "monkeys" shouldn't exist.
But he never broke his principales, he always prioritised his friends and family before himself, he was undeed a better person that gojo
======= ok ==================
The worm from hunter hunter inspired the worm on Toji. True story
This is the beauty of a masterpiece love JJK
Toji the sorcerer killer is living up to his name.
Toji still my favorite character till this day... also Gege's fav character too 😂
This is the best reaction channel ever💙
I was thinking this is the most depression filled episode but I remembered like 4 more scenes and got depressed alot more
Two association in this event.
0:01 " okay I'm ready I think" lol nobody was ready for this episode
I dont understand people who start to hate toji this episode, since ep 1 it was clear he was here to kill riko since its his job and when he does yall are surprised? What did you expect him to do? Have a change of heart like his some naruto villain?
😂😂😂
There are plenty of villains/antagonists that fail in completing their job. In fact, most do.
Hearing someone say they’ll do something is different to actually seeing it. Not to mention that in present day, we know gojo is alive and well, and that tengen’s barriers still exist.
Based on the stakes established, it would be expected that fushiguro wouldn’t be able to successfully carry out his mission. You’re only saying this because you know what happens
I love when the antagonist get beaten by badass villain ahhhh what a serenity
Also they didn't show but gojou was stabbed in the head in the last attack toji did ... They censored it
You can see Toji's mimics on Maki's face or other way around.
What an episode. Also, I like how much attention to detail you ladies have
love how they scream for dead lil girl Toji best character
and its just the beginning of all the sadness in this season =(
and to make this even more...weird? is Toji's only doing this for money (that he'll gamble and lost)
Yes he was addicted to gambling, whatever money he gets is gone in gambling in ni time, talk about waste 😅
Friggen legs central
Honestly I think toji is cooler. He can’t do cursed technique or domain expansion but found a way to beat the strongest most naturally talented sorcerer with strategy. You have to respect that
Fun fact The encounter’s season between young Gojo and Toji was changed to winter, and the OG scene in the manga is made more clear in that it was OUTSIDE, not inside the Gojo clan’s household
Toji: Fuck happy endings.
😂
Do you remember that Chainsaw Man episode where Makima was shot in the head and she just said sike and she was back? Well, Gojo's built like that. Just give him some Tylenol and he'll be back up and running.
Gojo didn’t take yuji to shoko so she would bring him back to life lol she was basically was just gone dissect him being the vessel of sukuna and all
Gojo did indeed died and a professional killer would make sure there target is dead 100% like Toji
OK i have a question, do people with enough curse energy to see curses on a daily basis are considered curse users? Because Riko and the Maid can see Curses and Geto called Maki "a Monkey" like normal people because she couldn't.
Yes Curse Users/Sorcerers depending on who they're allied with.
basically everyone has cursed energy (except toji, maki has some but not enough to be a sorcerer). If you don't have enough cursed energy to see curses Adult Geto would consider you a monkey
@@guardiandeity6519
If you can't CONTROL cursed energy he calls you a monkey, he wants people to master its use
