Question: Do you have to set up your DSP for the tuner, Android, Carplay, USB, etc? Will this be something that Diamond will fix so it is a one time setting up on the bike.
There is a feature update coming soon where you can import and export tunes. As for the DSP you only set it for all the sources at once. The Global EQ is source dependent.
boot up is 1,2,3 on, super fast. Bluetooth connectivity is dependent on the phone, but a current model should be a couple seconds later. When Masesto was developing the interface for us, they told us this was the fastest radio they had ever tested, pretty high praise!
Looks like a fantastic unit. Will you be able to use the right thumb control to scroll through and select items on any screen? (home Android Auto, setup menus, etc.) Thanks!
Controls are the same as the factory unit or you can reconfigure them via the Maestro interface to remap or add other features, it is fully customizable.
@@diamondaudio_usa So does that mean that, for example, you do not have to touch the home screen icons to navigate & select? In other words, can you navigate & select all icons on the home screen with the right thumb joy stick? Right, left, up, down & enter.
Audio newbie questions: Will I lose access to any features (eg. DSP) if I don't use the RCA outs? I have an amplifier right now that doesn't use RCA outs. Do the hand controls work on all screens? I don't want to have to touch the screen at all since I can't even reach it when I'm riding and I like the fact that with the GTS radio, even with Android Auto, I never have to touch the screen. Thanks.
Your hadlbar controls will work as they do now and also you can use the interface to recofigure them if you like. The DSP works on all channels, powered or RCA, you will lose no functionally but you will need to adjust the gains on the amp as our unit is much higher output.

I haven't seen a demo of the boot up time & bluetooth connectivity speed. Can you please provide info? Thanks!
