Just got my head unit and running into issues with my install. Performing all the setup steps but my hand controls dont work at all, i also am not getting the gauges icon/page on the head unit and my vehicle info page is blank. 2017 RG Standard (10 button 4.3); 2nd unit im installing and im convinced its not a head unit issue. I have a Vance and Hines FP3 but its disconnected, heard about the conflict when you have a tuner plugged in. Just seems like its not talking to my canbus. Have you seen anything like this? Im in Cali so unfortunate a ride up to the shop is a bit out of the question but really do appreciate your videos and any feedback. Thanks. - Mike
So if you want to make changes like for example have LEDS turn on with thumb controls after being disabled, you have to remove fairing and radio or just faring?
I notice on my that I need it to unplug the radio power for the program to content (I'm using a MAC) if I don't remove radio main connector I get this error on the app "INVALID DEVICE DETECTION!"
No programmers unless they are a hard program and you remove it. It's a limitation of the Maestro because you can't have the programmer on the CAN bus.
for anyone missing cables, you can by a USB C to USB A convertor at most Walmart's for about $10. I did mine today and it works.

Just the fairing, but if you run the USB to the glove box, you don’t have to remove anything

Probably not. The 13 and down is single din and less features.
